A highly efficient and re liable topology-dual buck half bridge inverter (DBI) is introduced. The existenc e of discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) operation state requires the bias of in du ctor current for DBI implemented with linear controllers like ramp comparison SP WM (RCSPWM) controllers. A novel operation scheme for DBI and a hysteresis curre nt controlled dual buck half bridge inverter (HCDBI) are proposed. The bias curr ent required by RCSPWM DBI is eliminated and conduction losses are dramatically reduced. HCDBI has greatly improved the modulation performance in DCM region for the benefit of its excellent command tracking capability. The operational schem e and control strategy are presented. Power losses of the conventional half brid ge inverter (CHBI) and HCDBI are compared with mathematical computation, and exp erimental verification is also executed. Both calculational and experimental res ults verify that HCDBI has a superior switching performance over CHBI. Its exce llent high frequency operational capacity provides another access to realize high fre quency operation of inverters. 展开更多

Pt/Ti bottom electrodes were fabricated on SiO2/Si substrates by magnetron dual-facingtarget sputtering system. Lead zirconate titanate(PZT) thin films were deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering system. The thickness of PZT thin films which were deposited for 5 h was about 800 nm. XRD spectra show that PZT thin films deposited in Ar ambience and rapid-thermal-annealed for 20 min at 700 ℃ have good crystallization behavior and perovskite structure. AFM micrographs show that mean diameter of crystallites is 70 nm and surface structures of PZT thin films are uniform and dense. Raw mean, root mean square roughness and mean roughness of PZT thin films are 34..357 rim, 2. 479 nm and 1. 954 nm respectively. As test frequency is 1 kHz, dielectric constant of PZT thin films is 327.5. Electric hysteresis loop shows that coercive field strength, residual polarization strength and spontaneous polarization strength of PZT thin films are 50 kV/cm, 10μC/cm^2 and 13μC/cm^2 respectively. 展开更多

The paper presents results from a study of a series-connected single-phase APF (active power filter) with a control system based on hysteresis control, both with and without limitation of the maximum switching frequency. The general purpose of the series APF is to eliminate the low order harmonics of the source (grid) voltage. The filter operation at limited and unlimited maximum switching frequency is explained and it is described using building blocks and time diagrams illustrating the tracking down of the reference curve. Waveforms from the computer simulation and waveforms from the experimental tests of the filter are presented also for the two situations. Operations at limited and unlimited maximum switching frequency are compared regarding the quality of the voltage across the load, the complexity of the implementation of the control system, and the electromagnetic compatibility. The investigation proved capability of the series APF to achieve its general purpose using the hysteresis control methods studied (limited and unlimited switching frequency). 展开更多
