Acupoints used are Fenchi (GB 20), Yifeng (TE 17), Taiyang (LR 3), Yangbai (GB 14), Cuanzhu (BL 2), Yingxiang (LI 20), Dicang (ST 4), Shuigou (GV 26), Chengjiang (CV 24), Xiaguan (ST 7) and Jiache (ST 6). Following 20 - 30 sessions of treatment, results show that the therapeutic effect of treatment group is significantly superior to that of Western medicine group and the therapeutic duration of the former group is shorter.展开更多

Acupoint selection: 4-8 needles were needled around the mass and at Zusanli(足三里ST 36),Sanyinjiao(三阴交SP 6),Fengl6 ng(丰隆 ST 40) and Rugen(乳根 ST 18). Electroacupuncture was performed at ST 36, SP 6 and ST 40. The above treatment was once a day. Treatment for 7 times was considered as 1 course of treatment, and 3 weeks were free from treatment between courses. Color ultrasound in breast was used to examine the breast mass before the next course of treatment, treatment can be terminated if the mass disappeared, otherwise, treatment should be continued. Three courses at most were needed. Results: After 1-3 courses of treatment, 16 patients were cured, accounting for 53.3%(16/30); markedly effective: 8 cases, accounting for 26.7%(8/30); effective: 4 cases, accounting for 13.3%(4/30); ineffective:2 cases, accounting for 6.7%(2/30).Conclusion: Surrounding electroacupuncture needling for breast mass after acute mastitis was effective clinically.展开更多

Methods: A total of 66 participants who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the randomized controlled trial and allocated to a treatment group and a control group at a ratio of 1:1, with 33 cases in each group. Both groups were given Luohua Anshen oral liquid as a basic treatment. The treatment group was additionally given EA every other day, three times a week. Both groups were treated for four weeks and a four-week follow-up was conducted. The scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), Kupperman index (KI) and traditional Chinese medicine sleep syndrome scale (TCMSSS) were recorded at pre- and post-treatment, and at the follow-up. Meanwhile, adverse effects were monitored and recorded. Results: After four-week treatment, the global scores of PSQI, KI and TCMSSS in both groups declined significantly (all P<0.05), and the decreases in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group (allP<0.05). The global scores of PSQI, KI and TCMSSS in both groups at the follow-up visit were significantly different from the corresponding baseline (allP<0.05), while insignificantly different from those assessed at post-treatment (allP>0.05). The total effective rate was 93.9% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 72.2% in the control group (P<0.05). No significant adverse event was reported in this trial excepted one patient experienced slight dizziness in the first acupuncture treatment. Conclusion: EA plus Luohua Anshen oral liquid is safe for perimenopausal insomnia with satisfactory short- and long-term effectiveness, and it shows certain advantage compared with using Luohua Anshen oral liquid alone.展开更多

Methods: The rats were duplicated as ovariectomized model and took the electroacupuncture therapy at 5 different periods. The heat-resistance ability, physical strength and sleeping ability of the rats at different intervention time were recorded. Results: For the rats with perimenopause syndrome at all periods, the electroacupuncture could promote the beat-resistance and the physical strength, shorten the sleep latency and prolong the sleeping time. The results of the rats in the 7 d pre-modeling group, 1 d post-modeling group and 8 d post-modeling group were the best, followed by the results of 15 d post-modeling group and 22 d post-modeling group. Conclusion: The prevention and early intervention of electroacupuncture on the rats with perimenopanse syndrome were satisfied and the effect declined with a later intervention time, indicating the importance of prevention and early intervention.展开更多

The measurement of sexual hormones showed E2, FSH and LH levels were better after treatment than before treatment in the patients with peri-menopausal syndrome, The analyses indicated that electroacupuncture of points Guanyuan (CV 4) and Sanyinjiao (CV 6) could rdieve the clinical symptoms in the patients with peri-menopausal syndrome and improve the patient's life quality.展开更多

Method: Randomized controlled trials (RCT) were adopted in the study. The patients were randomized into two groups, 30 cases in one group. Electroacupuncture was done on Jianyu (LI 15) 20 rain every time in the treatment group, while 75 mg Diclofenac Sodium Sustained-release Capsules were orally administered in the control group. For all the patients in two groups, one treatment course contains 7 days. Then the curative efficacy was evaluated by the efficacy evaluation criteria after two consecutive courses. Result: The total effective rate of treatment group and control group were 93,3% and 56.7% respectively. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture on Jianyu (LI 15) is an effective therapy for shoulder periarthritis and has more significant effect than oral Diclofenac Sodium Sustained-release Capsules.展开更多

Methods: A multi-centered randomized controlled trial was conducted and the enrolled participants were divided into an ear acupuncture group and a control group. The ear acupuncture group was treated by electroacupuncture at auricular points, and the control one was prescribed for Geng Nian An (Menopause Helper) tablets. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after 10-day treatments. Results: For pre-menopausal patients, the total effective rate was 96.8% in the ear acupuncture group, versus 56.3% in the control. For post-menopausal patients, the total effective rate was 85.7% in the ear acupuncture group, versus 53.0% in the control. Conclusion: Both ear acupuncture and Geng Nian An (Menopause Helper) tablets were effective in ameliorating symptoms of perimenopause syndrome, with satisfactory compliance and safety. The clinical effect of ear acupuncture is better than that of Geng Nian An (Menopause Helper) tablets.展开更多

Its optical properties were investigated with spectroscopies and the results showed that there were two emission-enhanced stages in the interaction between positive-charged PTPEPyH and negative-charged biomacromolecule heparin. The mechanism was very different due to the reduced non-radiative energy loss and the change of surroundings. The polyelectrolyte PTPEPyH, compared with ChS and HA, also showed high selectivity for heparin in the buffer solution and could be used as a potential bio-probe for heparin quantification in the clinical full range.展开更多
