Significant correlations were observed between root and shoot tolerance indices in wheat genotypes by using the same or different screening method. It was also shown that root tolerance parameters such as relative root length (RRL) and relative root dry weight (RRW) had more sensitive for differentiating aluminum tolerance in wheat genotypes indicated by higher standard deviation (SD),coefficient of variation (CV),and distrbution of data. Although shoot tolerance parameters,such as relative shoot length (RSL) and relative shoot dry weight (RSW) had less sensitive for differentiating aluminum tolerance within wheat genotypes indicated by lower SD,CV,and distribution of data,shoot growth parameters were reliable indicators of Al tolerance because they were sufficient to discriminate Al-tolerant and Al-sensitive genotypes in wheat. Shoot growth especially shoot length could be easily,rapidly,and non-destructively determined,and used effectively to screen for aluminum tolerance in a large-scale screening or breeding program.展开更多

The influences of temperature, initia...The strain Lv(1- z) isolated from the Henan bauxite was characterized by morphological observation, biochemical and physiological identification, and 16S rDNA sequence analysis. The influences of temperature, initial pH value, the volume of medium, shaking speed and illite concentration on the desilicating ability of the strain Lv(1- z) were investigated. The results show that the bacterium is a Gram-negative rod-shaped bacterium with oval endspores and thick capsule, but without flagellum. The biochemical and physiological tests indicate that the strain Lv(1- z) is similar to Bacillus rnucilaginosus. In GenBank the 16S rDNA sequence similarity of the strain Lv(1- z) and the B. rnucilaginosus YNUCC0001(AY571332) is more than 99%. Based on the above results, the strain Lv(1- z) is identified as B. rnucilaginosus. The optimum conditions for the strain L(1- z) to remove silicon from illite are as follows., temperature is 30℃ ;initial pH value is 7.5; medium volume in 200 mL bottle is 60 mL; shaking speed of rotary shaker is 220 r/m ; illite concentration is 1%.展开更多

A primary case study on a hospital centre h...This research aims at proposing to the technical manager of a hospital, a method for assessing the vulnerability of the hospital system in the case of a moderate earthquake. A primary case study on a hospital centre has allowed us to define the methodological basis. Also, it concludes to the need for a systematic method due to the complexity of hospital system and the specific knowledge. This "screening method" exits but it is applicable to the context of a major earthquake, where the main objective is to save life, while ours is to guarantee the continuity of hospital services. Other aims are to adapt this method in order to introduce the concept of a moderate earthquake, to take into account the environmental interactions of the hospital system and to improve the knowledge base. Subsequently, a software tool has to be developed to facilitate the implementation for the technical manager.展开更多

The simulation results show that ion screening has weak perturbation effects to the leptons in type-II supernova explosion. Ion screening decreases slightly the fraction of leptons and prolongs slightly the shock propagation time. Moreover, simulation results are shown that ion screening increases the total energy loss and reduces the shock energy, eventually decreasing of explosion energy and becomes a negative factor to supernova explosion. In addition, comparison of slight perturbated variation of ion screening to leptons, but simulation results" show that ion screening affects obviously explosion energy of type-II supernova, hence, it can also confirm that the variation of leptons is very sensitive to energy in supernova explosion.展开更多
We conduct research on the development of new medicines based on succinic acid, ascorbic acid and rutin. We studied the anti-inflammatory action (exudative inflammation, model of carrageenan-induced paw edema of rats...We conduct research on the development of new medicines based on succinic acid, ascorbic acid and rutin. We studied the anti-inflammatory action (exudative inflammation, model of carrageenan-induced paw edema of rats), the hepatoprotective (injury of rats with carbon tetrachloride) and renal protectie action. In the study, the anti-inflammatory activity of our medicines (exudative inflammation, karahenin model of inflammatory edema of paws rats) is set to ability of suppression of the inflammatory response by 24.4 %. Against the background, the action of carbon tetrachloride observed a positive effect on cholesterol- and pigment- forming liver function. Reducing the activity of enzymes ALT (alanine transaminase) and AST (aspartate transaminase) in groups of animals, which treated with our medication, talks about their ability to recover morpho functional integrity of the membranes of hepatocytes and warn of changes in the liver damage with carbon tetrachloride. Renal protective action screening study found that investigated mixture capable of increasingly lower level of creatinine in the blood of rats: 27.27-39.18 mmol/L in Lespeflan. Similarly, the concentration of urea in the smaller of the studied using mixtures is 5.18 mmol/L, while the application lespeflanu urea concentration slightly higher is 6.78 mmol/L. This shows that hypoazotemic effect is traced compared with the control group, and better than the comparator Lespeflan. Study of acute toxicity showed that the investigated mixture refers to practically nontoxic drugs. It is confirmed the need for further studies on the pharmacological activity of our facility to determine the effect on capillaries and the immune system, and as a result, prevention and treatment of influenza and ARI (acute respiratory infections).展开更多
