We inspected the spatial dynamics of these centers and found that the gravity centers of population and economy evolved simultaneously. The disproportional growth between the population and the economy is also analyzed. The results show that: 1) The gravity centers of the GDR the output values of the main three industries and arable land area show migration trending from southwest to northeast, while the population gravity center shows an excessive growth in the southwest during the same time period. The migration amplitude of the GDP and output values of primary industry, secondary industry, tertiary industry are measurably higher than that of the population. 2) The population gravity center has a negative correlation with the gravity centers of secondary and tertiary industries output values in both longitudinal and latitudinal directions, and a positive correlation with that of primary industry output value in the longitudinal direction. Based on the analysis of correlation coefficient and offset distance, the imbalance between the population and the economy has increased since the 1980s, with regional economic differences now exceeding the international cordon.展开更多
Objective To evaluate left univentricular (LUV) pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) using a rate-adaptive atrioven- tricular delay (RAAVD) algorithm to track physiological atrioventricular delay ...Objective To evaluate left univentricular (LUV) pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) using a rate-adaptive atrioven- tricular delay (RAAVD) algorithm to track physiological atrioventricular delay (AVD). Methods A total of 72 patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) were randomized to RAAVD LUV pacing versus standard biventricular (BiV) pacing in a 1 : 1 ratio. Echocardiography was used to optimize AVD for both groups. The effects of sequential BiV pacing and LUV pacing with optimized A-V (right atrio-LV) delay using an RAAVD algorithm were compared. The standard deviation (SD) of the S/R ratio in lead VI at five heart rate (HR) segments (Rs/R-SD5), defined as the "tracking index," was used to evaluate the accuracy of the RAAVD algorithm for tracking physiological AVD. Results TheQRS complex duration (132 ± 9.8 vs. 138± 10ms, P 〈 0.05), the time required for optimization (21 ±5 vs. 50±8min, P〈 0.001), the mitral regurgitant area (1.9 ± 1.1 vs. 2.5 ± 1.3 em2, P 〈 0.05), the interventricular mechanical delay time (60.7 ± 13.3 ms vs. 68.3 ± 14.2 ms, P 〈 0.05), and the average annual cost (13,200 ± 1000 vs. 21,600 ± 2000 RMB, P 〈 0.001) in the RAAVD LUV pacing group were significantly less than those in the standard BiV pacing group. The aortic valve velocity-time integral in the RAAVD LUV pacing group was greater than that in the standard BiV pacing group (22.7 ± 2.2 vs. 21.4 ± 2.1 cm, P 〈 0.05). The Rs/R-SD5 was 4.08 ± 1.91 in the RAAVD LUV pacing group, and was significantly negatively correlated with improved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (ALVEF, Pearson's r = -0.427, P = 0.009), and positively correlated with New York Heart Association class (Spearman's r - 0.348, P 0.037). Conclusions RAAVD LUV pacing is as effective as standard BiV pacing, can be more physiological than standard BiV pacing, and can de- crease the average annual cost of CRT.展开更多

Proclaiming the spirit of ecopsychology, Theodore Roszak argues that psychotherapy is an urban movement, but human beings can never heal themselves until they reconnect with nature. Other therapies aim at healing the alienation between person and person, person and family, person and society; ecopsychology intends to heal the more primary alienation between the person and the natural environment. Henri Lefebvre's work has revitalized urban studies, geography and planning via concepts like the social production of space. Lefebvre claims that space is not an inert, neutral, and pre-existing given, but rather, an on-going production of spatial relations. According to Lefebvre, space is produced by three types of practice: spatial practices of physical transformation of the environment, practices of representation of space, and everyday practices of representational space. Lefebvre further presents a "differential space," named as such for its dialectical resistance to the forces of homogenization present in "abstract space." The aim of this paper is to trace the ecological voice from Roszak's The Voice of the Earth in Henri Lefebvre's "differential space." Roszak's ecopsychology has formed a differential space, acknowledging that the boundaries of dualism and separations such as mind and body, man and nature should be finally dissolved in terms of ecological sustainability. Within this space, a holistic approach and thinking are created and required to take into account perception of the inextricable relationship between all life and all phenomena.展开更多
It is still unclear whether the timing of intracoronary stem cell therapy affects the therapeutic response in patients with myocardial infarction.The natural course of healing the infarction and the presence of putati...It is still unclear whether the timing of intracoronary stem cell therapy affects the therapeutic response in patients with myocardial infarction.The natural course of healing the infarction and the presence of putative homing signals within the damaged myocardium appear to favor cell engraftment during the transendothelial passage in the early days after reperfusion.However,the adverse inflammatory environment,with its high oxidative stress,might be deleterious if cells are administered too early after reperfusion.Here we highlight several aspects of the timing of intracoronary stem cell therapy.Our results showed that transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells at 2 4 weeks after myocardial infarction is more favorable for reduction of the scar area,inhibition of left ventricular remodeling,and recovery of heart function.Coronary injection of autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells at 2 4 weeks after acute myocardial infarction is safe and does not increase the incidence of complications.展开更多
