针对侵彻计层实时处理数据过程中,单独使用加速度计处理数据时信号噪声大、分离难度高,单独使用磁传感器处理数据时易受探测环境干扰的问题,提出一种加速度传感器与磁传感器结合的侵彻计层处理方法。利用加速度传感器响应时间快于磁传... 针对侵彻计层实时处理数据过程中,单独使用加速度计处理数据时信号噪声大、分离难度高,单独使用磁传感器处理数据时易受探测环境干扰的问题,提出一种加速度传感器与磁传感器结合的侵彻计层处理方法。利用加速度传感器响应时间快于磁传感器响应的现象,将加速度信号作为磁传感器信号的计时开关,并根据磁信号满足预设的阈值-脉宽信息来判断弹体该次动作是否为侵彻钢筋混凝土靶板层,完成侵彻层数过程的识别。通过建立侵彻模型,分析过载信息组成,确立刚体加速度分离方法,并通过对比加速度信号与磁信号在侵彻过程中的变化情况,分析信号峰值在侵彻过程中与靶板位置的关系,论证了探测方案的可行性。 展开更多

The evolutionary strategy with a dynamic weighting schedule is proposed to find all the compromised solutions of the multi-objective integrated structure and control optimization problem, where the optimal system performance and control cost are defined by H2 or H∞ norms. During this optimization process, the weights are varying with the increasing generation instead of fixed values. The proposed strategy together with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) or the Riccati controller design method can find a series of uniformly distributed nondominated solutions in a single run. Therefore, this method can greatly reduce the computation intensity of the integrated optimization problem compared with the weight-based single objective genetic algorithm. Active automotive suspension is adopted as an example to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

This paper proposes a new method which can automatically detect planes from two projective images. Firstly, we modify Scott’s feature point matching method by post-processing its result with the concept of similarity, and then get the lines matching according to feature points matching based on the approximate invariance of the features’ distribution between two images. Finally, we group all feature points into subsets in terms of their geometric relations with feature lines as initial sets to estimate homography rather than by a random search strategy (like RANSAC) as in most existing methods. The proposed method is especially suitable to detecting planes in man-made scenes. This method is validated on real images. 展开更多

A new multi-level analysis method of introducing the super-element modeling method, derived from the multi-level analysis method first proposed by O. F. Hughes, has been proposed in this paper to solve the problem of high time cost in adopting a rational-based optimal design method for ship structural design. Furthermore,the method was verified by its effective application in optimization of the mid-ship section of a container ship. A full 3-D FEM model of a ship,suffering static and quasi-static loads, was used as the analyzing object for evaluating the structural performance of the mid-ship module, including static strength and buckling performance. Research results reveal that this new method could substantially reduce the computational cost of the rational-based optimization problem without decreasing its accuracy, which increases the feasibility and economic efficiency of using a rational-based optimal design method in ship structural design. 展开更多

This scheme manipulates the problem of incremental demand, and low Power Factor (PF) for industrial plants, starting with walk through surveys, data analysis, providing advices to insure personnel involvement, and suggestions of practical circuits to attain the target. Elements of effective energy management program can be configured of management commitment, audit, analysis and implementation. Energy management opportunities can he operational and maintenance strategies, retrofit or modification strategies and new design strategies. The new technique of Power Factor Correction (PFC) that has been designed was the High Active Boost Power Factor Correction Pre-regulator Circuit, which was resulted in single / three phase PFC of about unity, in hand with a regulated output single phase voltage of about 220 VAC. 展开更多

In order to improve the energy efficiency of large-scale data centers, a virtual machine(VM) deployment algorithm called three-threshold energy saving algorithm(TESA), which is based on the linear relation between the energy consumption and(processor) resource utilization, is proposed. In TESA, according to load, hosts in data centers are divided into four classes, that is,host with light load, host with proper load, host with middle load and host with heavy load. By defining TESA, VMs on lightly loaded host or VMs on heavily loaded host are migrated to another host with proper load; VMs on properly loaded host or VMs on middling loaded host are kept constant. Then, based on the TESA, five kinds of VM selection policies(minimization of migrations policy based on TESA(MIMT), maximization of migrations policy based on TESA(MAMT), highest potential growth policy based on TESA(HPGT), lowest potential growth policy based on TESA(LPGT) and random choice policy based on TESA(RCT)) are presented, and MIMT is chosen as the representative policy through experimental comparison. Finally, five research directions are put forward on future energy management. The results of simulation indicate that, as compared with single threshold(ST) algorithm and minimization of migrations(MM) algorithm, MIMT significantly improves the energy efficiency in data centers. 展开更多

For the purpose of improving efficiency and realizing start–stop function, an electric oil pump(EOP) is integrated into an 8-speed automatic transmission(AT). A mathematical model is built to calculate the transmission power loss and the hydraulic system leakage. Based on this model, a flow-based control strategy is developed for EOP to satisfy the system flow requirement. This control strategy is verified through the forward driving simulation. The results indicate that there is a best combination for the size of mechanical oil pump(MOP) and EOP in terms of minimum energy consumption. In order to get a quick and smooth starting process, control strategies of the EOP and the on-coming clutch are proposed. The test environment on a prototype vehicle is built to verify the feasibility of the integrated EOP and its control strategies. The results show that the selected EOP can satisfy the flow requirement and a quick and smooth starting performance is achieved in the start–stop function. This research has a high value for the forward design of EOP in automatic transmissions with respect to efficiency improvement and start–stop function. 展开更多

Isight is introduced as an integration platform. The construction of this platform is based on the user programming and several commercial software including UG6.0, GAMBIT2.4.6 and FLUENT12.0. An intelligent parameter optimization method, the particle swarm optimization, is incorporated into the platform. To verify the strategy proposed, a simulation is conducted on the underwater robot model 5470, which originates from the DTRC SUBOFF project. With the automatic optimization platform, the minimal resistance is taken as the optimization goal;the wet surface area as the constraint condition; the length of the fore-body, maximum body radius and after-body's minimum radius as the design variables. With the CFD calculation, the RANS equations and the standard turbulence model are used for direct numerical simulation. By analyses of the simulation results, it is concluded that the platform is of high efficiency and feasibility. Through the platform, a variety of schemes for the design of the lines are generated and the optimal solution is achieved. The combination of the intelligent optimization algorithm and the numerical simulation ensures a global optimal solution and improves the efficiency of the searching solutions. 展开更多

To provide a suitable model for AUV simulation and control purposes, a general nonlinear dynamic model including a novel thruster hydrodynamics model was derived. Based on the modeling method, the "AUV-XX" simulation platform was established to carry out fundamental tests on its motion characteristics, stability, and controllability. A motion control strategy consisting of both position and speed control in a horizontal plane was designed for different task assignments of underwater vehicles. Combined control of heave and pitch was adopted to compensate for the reduction of vertical tunnel thrusters when the vehicle is moving at a high speed. An improved S-surface controller based on the capacitor plate model was developed with flexible gain selections made possible by different forms of restricting the error and changing the rate of the error. Simulation results show that the derived general mathematical model together with simulation platform can provide a test bed for fundamental tests of motion control. Additionally, the capacitor plate model S-surface control shows a good performance in guiding the vehicle to achieve the desired position and speed with sufficient accuracy. 展开更多
