Diamond films were deposited on high-speed steel substrates by hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) method. To minimize the early formation of graphite and to enhance the diamond film adhesion, a WC-Co coating was used as an interlayer on the steel substrates by high velocity oxy-fuel spraying. The effects of methane content on nucleation, quality, residual stress and adhesion of diamond films were investigated. The results indicate that the increasing methane content leads to the increase in nucleation density, residual stress, the degradation of quality and adhesion of diamond films. Diamond films deposited on high-speed steel (HSS) substrate with a WC-Co interlayer exhibit high nucleation density and good adhesion under the condition of the methane content initially set to be a higher value (4%, volume fraction) for 30 min, and then reduced to 2% for subsequent growth at pressure of 3 kPa and substrate temperature of 800 ℃. 展开更多

Based on hot metal pretreatment (HMPT)-basic oxygen furnace (BOF)-Rheinstahl Heraeus (RH)-compact strip production (CSP) process, parameters controlling on cold rolling deep drawing substrate SPHE were investigated during smelting and rolling process by composition design and technology control. The influence of parameters on chemical compositions, mechanical properties and microstructure was revealed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that, 1) main chemical components in SPHE are w(C)_〈40×10^-6, w(Si)_〈 0.01%, w(S)_〈0.009%, w(N)〈20×10^-6, w(O)〈_ 25×10^-6; 2) main mechanical properties of the SPHE are Crs=274 MPa, 00=334 MPa, A=48.9%; 3) main performances of deep drawing quality (DDQ) grade steel produced by SPHE are as follows, transversely crs=167 MPa, 00=298 MPa, n=0.219, r=2.46; vertically σs=166 MPa, 00=298 MPa, n=0.226, r=2.39; in 45° direction σ=171 MPa, 00=308 MPa, n=0.214, t=2.26; 4) microstrueture of DDQ is ferrite, average grain size is Grade 7.5, and inclusion size is 3-10μm. 展开更多

The fundamental research and industry, trials of the third generation automobile steel QP980 were introduced in this paper, including chemical ingredient, mechanical properties, microstructure, forming limit and basic perform- ance parameters. The application of QP steel of the B-pillar was researched, and the QP980, DP600 and hot forming steel were compared in the aspect of formability, safety and cost. The resuhs showed that the QP980 replacing DP600 steel single piece carl reduce the weight by 2.4 kg. The security and performance is basically the same as that of hot forming steel using 22MnB5, and the cost is reduced by 30 %. 展开更多
