Camilla Guerrieri’s Portrait of Guidobaldo II della Rovere:Symbols of Honor and Power

The Altomani&Sons Collection owns a remarkable newly discovered portrait of Guidobaldo II della Rovere,Duke of Urbino(1514-1574),a historical military figure who was a condottiere,ruler of Urbino,Commander-in-chief of the Papal Estate,and Perfect of Rome,as well as a collector and patron of the Fine Arts.Camilla Guerrieri Nati(1628-1694),a seventeenth-century Italian painter from Fossombrone(in the province of Pesaro and Urbino),portrayed this heroic personage surrounded by emblems associated with his military courage and leadership,including his plumed burgonet helmet,metal gilded armor,a necklace with the golden fleece,and batons of secular and religious dominions.This oil painting on copper-considered a precious metal at the time-emphasizes the importance of the commission.The material and technique also reveals a unique artistic achievement in that it provides the painting with a smooth,reflective surface and vibrant coloration,symbolizing precious imagery.

Study of photometric phase curve with new brightness model:refining phase function system parameters of asteroid(107)Camilla

We characterize the morphology of the photometric phase curve model of an asteroid with a three- parameter magnitude phase function H - G1 - G2 system by considering the effect of brightness variation arising from a triaxial ellipsoid representing the asteroid＇s shape. Applying this new model and a Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, we refine the photometric phase curve of asteroid （107） Camilla and obtain its absolute magnitude H = 7.026-0.054^＋0.052 mag, and phase function parameters G1=0.489-0.044^＋0.043 and G2 = 0.259-0.023^＋0.023.Meanwhile, we also determine （107） Camilla＇s orientation of pole （74.1°-4.5°^＋4.3°,50.2°-5.0°^＋5.4°）. with rotational period of 4.843928-0.000001^＋0.000001 h, and axial ratios a/b ： 1.409-0.020^＋0.020 And b/c =1.249-0.060^＋0.063. Furthermore, according to the values of phase function parameters G1 and G2, we infer that asteroid （107） Camilla is an X-type asteroid.

玛丽安万年青茎段培养的污染防止

以天南星科黛粉叶属 (Dieffenbachia)的玛丽安万年青 (Dieffenbachiaamoenacv .‘Camilla’)茎段为试材 ,用预培养、减压灭菌和在培养基中加入不同抑菌剂和抗菌素的方式进行研究 结果表明 ,①减压灭菌效果明显好于常规灭菌 ,未污染率从常规的 6 7%升到 6 0 0 % ,成活率从常规的 3 3%升到 4 3 3% ;②用不同抗菌素对外植体进行预培养 ,以抑菌剂ANB1和ANB2的抑菌效果较好 ,未污染率分别为 6 3 3%和 76 7% ,成活率分别为 6 0 0 %和 5 0 0 % ;③在培养基中加入不同抑菌剂 ,对外植体的毒害严重 。

Botticelli’s Minerva and the Centaur:Artistic and Metaphysical Conceits

Botticelli’s Minerva and the Centaur of 1482-1483,along with his other mythological paintings,the Primavera,the Birth of Venus,and Mars and Venus,remains an iconographical mystery.As such,it is particularly interesting to analyze them.Now at the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence and National Gallery in London,these paintings,executed between 1480 and 1490,were commissioned with specific aesthetic and intellectual aims and were intended to be hung in private rooms for personal viewing.Botticelli’s mythological paintings reflect the Renaissance humanistic body of thought:the study of antiquity and Neoplatonic philosophy.This essay focuses on one aspect:an interpretation of the influence of antiquity and humanism in Botticelli’s Minerva and the Centaur,a conflation of Minerva pacifica and Minerva pudica.

玛莉安万年青的离体培养和快速繁殖研究

以玛莉安万年青茎段为外植体 ,研究离体繁殖和直接成苗的技术。试验结果表明 ,适宜的不定芽诱导培养基为 WPM无机成分 +MS有机成分 +BA( 0 .5～ 1.0 mg· L-1) +NAA( 0 .0 5～0 .1mg· L-1) ;适宜的继代和芽增殖培养基为 MS+BA( 6mg·L-1) ;直接成苗培养基为 WPM无机成分 (铁盐减半 ) +B5有机成分 (烟酸为 5.0 mg·L-1) +BA( 2 .0～ 3.0 mg· L-1) +NAA( 0 .2 mg· L-1)。直接成苗培养繁殖系数平均 4 .6,试管苗移栽成活率平均 97.8%。从而简化了培养程序 ,降低了试管苗成本。
