The residual current and its impact on mass transport are simulated with a 3 - D joint model for the Hangzhou Bay and the Changjiang Estuary, in which the impacts of river flux, wind, baroclinic pressure gradient (BPG), background current in the East China Sea and tide (including M2, S2, K1 and O1) are taken into account. Based on there studies, further simulations are made to analyze the dynamical mechanisms of the observational characteristics.展开更多
