This paper will probe an integrative methodologyfor achieving environmentally sound, economically productive, and ecologically responsibledevelopment in urban and industrial areas of China through ecological regulation. The central objec-tive is to promote highly efficient resource use rather than high speed development,harmonious sys-tem′s relationship rather than inflexible compartmentalization, and robust and vital self-organizationrather than bureaucrstic control. Although much research has been conducted on the interactions between the career development of foreign language teachers and their contexts around the world,a literature review reveals that there exists scanty resear...Although much research has been conducted on the interactions between the career development of foreign language teachers and their contexts around the world,a literature review reveals that there exists scanty research on the relationship between university Russian language teachers’career development and their contexts in China since 1949.Based on relevant studies on the career development of foreign language teachers and the ecological theory,this paper involves research on the impact that different ecological systems(micro-,meso-,macro-and exo-ones)have played in the career development of Russian language teachers in China.Participants are 10 Chinese Russian teachers of different ages from different universities in different parts of China.Via literature review,narration methods and semi-structured(in-depth)interviews with the help of NVivo,this research finds that Russian language teachers’career development results from multi-faceted interactions of the following contexts:ideology,Russian language educational policies and personal factors as well as college contexts.This paper concludes with some suggestions for improving Russian language teachers’career development in China.展开更多

Through this model, resource status of the regional environment in Mianzhu is analyzed, as well as the ecological capacity and the ecological security. Promoting the coordinated development of ecological human settlements and the happiness levels of residents will help to promote people-centered high-quality development.This study was based on the 2011-2021 data of t...Promoting the coordinated development of ecological human settlements and the happiness levels of residents will help to promote people-centered high-quality development.This study was based on the 2011-2021 data of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,and constructed an evaluation index system of ecological human settlements and the happiness levels of residents.The entropy value method,coupling coordination degree model,Dagum Gini coefficient and Geodetector model were used to explore the coupling coordination relationship and influencing factors of these two systems.The findings indicate that ecological human settlements and the happiness levels of residents in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration have shown an upward trend over time.By 2021,the overall level of the region had significantly improved.The coupling coordination level between these two systems has gradually increased,showing a spatial distribution pattern of high in the east and low in the west.The Dagum Gini coefficient shows a fluctuating downward trend in the overall and intra-regional differences,with the largest inter-regional difference between Shanghai and Anhui,and the inter-regional difference is the main source of the spatial differences.Economic development level(Eco)was the main factor influencing the coupling coordination of the two systems from 2011 to 2021.The results of this study provide references for constructing ecological human settlements and enhancing the happiness levels of residents.展开更多

The centralized utilization of heavy-metal-contaminated soil has become the main strategy to remediate brownfield-site pollution.However,few studies have evaluated the ecological and human health risks of reusing thes...The centralized utilization of heavy-metal-contaminated soil has become the main strategy to remediate brownfield-site pollution.However,few studies have evaluated the ecological and human health risks of reusing these remediated soils.Considering Zn as the target metal,systematic pHdependent leaching and the Community Bureau of Reference(BCR)extraction were conducted at six pH values(pH=2,4,6,8,10,12)for the remediated soil treated through thermal curing.The pHdependent leaching results showed that with the formation of ZnCr2O4 spinel phases,the remediated soil exhibited strong inherent resistance to acidic attack over longer leaching periods.Furthermore,the BCR extraction results showed that the leaching agent pH value mainly affected the acid-soluble fraction content.Moreover,a strong complementary relationship was noted between the leaching and acid-soluble fraction contents,indicating that the sum of these two parameters is representative of the remediated soil risk value.Therefore,we proposed a two-step calculation method to determine the sum of the two heavy metal parameters as the risk value of remediated soil.In contrast to the traditional one-step calculation method,which only uses the leaching content as the risk value,this two-step calculation method can effectively avoid underestimating the risk of remediated soil.展开更多
