XRF and EDX analyses were carried out on 18 batches of representative raw samples to determine the distribution of major chemical elements in the petroleum source rocks of Donga and Yogou formations of Termit sedimentary basin. The chemical composition of these formations is dominated by silicon (Si), aluminum (Al) and iron (Fe). This is consistent with the oxide composition, which is also dominated by silicon oxide (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and iron monoxide (FeO). No less important chemical elements are calcium (Ca), potassium (K), sulfur (S), titanium (Ti), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn) and barium (Ba), as well as some of their oxides. All these major chemical elements are carried by silicate detrital minerals associated with pyrite and goethite and/or clay minerals such as kaolinite and interstratified illite, smectite and chlorite. This trend is illustrated by the values of the Si/Al and SiO2/Al2O3 ratios. 展开更多

Based on drilling geological, geochemical, geophysical and production test data, the characteristics of source rocks, reservoir rocks and caprocks,as well as the process of hydrocarbon generation, trap evolution and oil accumulation of the oil-bearing assemblage composed of the Cretaceous Yingcheng Formation(K1yc)and Denglouku Formation(K1d)in the Shuangcheng area, northern Songliao Basin,NE China, were analyzed by using the research methods for petroleum systems. The source rocks mainly exist in K1yc,with the organic matters mainly originated from lower aquatic organisms and algae, and reaching the grade of high-quality source rock in terms of organic abundance. The crude oil, which is characterized by low density, high freezing point and high wax content,is believed to have generated by the K1yc source rocks. The reservoir rocks include K1d sandstones and K1yc glutenites. The mudstone in the fourth member of K1d serves as the direct caprock of the oil reservoir. The oil was generated during the period between Yaojia Formation and Nenjiang Formation, and then accumulated during the periods of Nenjiang Formation and Paleogene–Neogene. The traps evolved in three stages:the late Yingcheng Formation, the late Quantou Formation and the late Nenjiang Formation, forming structural and structural-lithologic reservoirs. It is concluded that good source-reservoir-caprock assemblage, late hydrocarbon charging, short migration distance and stable tectonic setting are favorable factors for the formation of oil reservoirs. 展开更多

With the rapid development of informatization, autonomy and intelligence, unmanned swarm formation intelligent operations will become the main combat mode of future wars.Typical unmanned swarm formations such as ground-based directed energy weapon formations,space-based kinetic energy weapon formations, and sea-based carrier-based formations have become the trump card for winning future wars.In a complex confrontation environment, these sophisticated weapon formation systems can precisely strike mobile threat group targets, making them extreme deterrents in joint combat applications.Based on this, first, this paper provides a comprehensive summary of the outstanding advantages, strategic position and combat style of unmanned clusters in joint warfare to highlight their important position in future warfare.Second,a detailed analysis of the technological breakthroughs in four key areas, situational awareness, heterogeneous coordination, mixed combat, and intelligent assessment of typical unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarms in joint warfare,is presented. An in-depth analysis of the UAV swarm communication networking operating mechanism during joint warfare is provided to lay the theoretical foundation for subsequent cooperative tracking and control. Then,an indepth analysis of the shut-in technology requirements of UAV clusters in joint warfare is provided to lay a theoretical foundation for subsequent cooperative tracking control. Finally, the technical requirements of UAV clusters in joint warfare are analysed in depth so the key technologies can form a closed-loop kill chain system and provide theoretical references for the study of intelligent command operations. 展开更多

A noise-reduction method with sliding called the local f-x Cadzow noise-reduction method, windows in the frequency-space (f-x) domain, is presented in this paper. This method is based on the assumption that the signal in each window is linearly predictable in the spatial direction while the random noise is not. For each Toeplitz matrix constructed by constant frequency slice, a singular value decomposition (SVD) is applied to separate signal from noise. To avoid edge artifacts caused by zero percent overlap between windows and to remove more noise, an appropriate overlap is adopted. Besides flat and dipping events, this method can enhance curved and conflicting events. However, it is not suitable for seismic data that contains big spikes or null traces. It is also compared with the SVD, f-x deconvolution, and Cadzow method without windows. The comparison results show that the local Cadzow method performs well in removing random noise and preserving signal. In addition, a real data example proves that it is a potential noise-reduction technique for seismic data obtained in areas of complex formations. 展开更多

The discovery of the Gouap banded iron formations(BIFs)-hosted iron mineralization in the northwestern of the Nyong Group(Ntem Complex)in southwestern Cameroon provides unique insights into the geology of this region. In this contribution,we firstly report detailed study of geochemistry, isotopic and geochronology of well preserved samples of the Gouap BIFs collected from diamond drillcores. The Gouap BIFs consist mainly of amphibole BIFs and amphibole-pyrite BIFs characterized by dominant Fe_(2)O_(3)+SiO_(2)contents and variable contents of CaO,MgO and SO_(3),consistent with the presence of amphibole, chlorite, epidote and pyrite, formed during amphibolite facies metamorphism and overprinted hydrothermal event. The amphibole–pyrite BIFs are typically enriched in trace and rare earth elements(REE)compared to the amphibole BIFs,suggesting the influence of detrital materials as well as secondary hydrothermal alteration. The Post Archean Australian Shale(PAAS)-normalized REE–Y profiles of the Gouap BIFs display positive La,Eu anomalies, weak negative Ce anomalies, indicating a mixture of low-temperature hydrothermal fluids and relatively oxic conditions probably under relative shallow seawater. We present here the first isotopic data of BIFs within the Ntem Complex.Theδ^(30)Si_(NBS28)values of the quartz from the Gouap BIFs vary from-1.5‰to-0.3‰and from-0.8‰to-0.9‰for the amphibole BIFs and amphibole–pyrite BIFs,respectively. The quartz hasδ^(18)OV-SMOW values of 6.8‰–9.5‰(amphibole BIFs)and 9.2‰–10.6‰(amphibole–pyrite BIFs).The magnetite from the Gouap BIFs showsδ^(18)O values ranging from-3.5‰to-1.8‰and from-3‰to-1.7‰for the amphibole BIFs and amphibole–pyrite BIFs,respectively. Moreover, the pyrite grains in the amphibole–pyrite BIFs displayδ34S values of 1.1‰–1.8‰.All isotopic data of the Gouap BIFs confirm that they might have precipitated from low-temperature hydrothermal fluids with detrital input distant from the volcanic activity.According to their geochemical and isotopic characteristics,we propose that the Gouap BIFs belong to the Superior type.In situ U–Pb zircon dating of BIFs was conducted to assess the BIF depositional age based on strong evidence of zircon in thin section. The Gouap BIFs were probably deposited at 2422±50 Ma in a region where sediments extended from continental shelf to deep-water environments along craton margins like the Caue Formation of the Minas Supergroup,Brazil. The studied BIFs have experienced regional hydrothermal activity and metamorphism at 2089±8.3 Ma during the Eburnean–Transamazonian orogeny. These findings suggest a physical continuity between the protocratonic masses of both Sao Francisco and Congo continents in the Rhyacian Period. 展开更多

Stress sensitivity and water blocking in fractured carbonate reservoir formations with low permeability were determined as the main potential damage mechanisms during drilling and completion operations in the ancient buried hill Ordovician reservoirs in the Tarim Basin. Geological structure, lithology, porosity, permeability and mineral components all affect the potential for formation damage. The experimental results showed that the permeability loss was 83.8%-98.6% caused by stress sensitivity, and was 27.9%-48.1% caused by water blocking. Based on the experimental results, several main conclusions concerning stress sensitivity can be drawn as follows: the lower the core permeability and the smaller the core fracture width, the higher the stress sensitivity. Also, stress sensitivity results in lag effect for both permeability recovery and fracture closure. Aimed at the mechanisms of formation damage, a modified low-damage mixed metal hydroxide (MMH) drilling fluid system was developed, which was mainly composed of low-fluorescence shale control agent, filtration control agent, lowfluorescence lubricant and surfactant. The results of experimental evaluation and field test showed that the newly-developed drilling fluid and engineering techniques provided could dramatically increase the return permeability (over 85%) of core samples. This drilling fluid had such advantages as good rheological and lubricating properties, high temperature stability, and low filtration rate (API filtration less than 5 ml after aging at 120 ℃ for 4 hours). Therefore, fractured carbonate formations with low permeability could be protected effectively when drilling with the newly-developed drilling fluid. Meanwhile, field test showed that both penetration rate and bore stability were improved and the soaking time of the drilling fluid with formation was sharply shortened, indicating that the modified MMH drilling fluid could meet the requirements of drilling engineering and geology. 展开更多

On the basis of petrogeochemical data, the volcanic lavas of the Baimianxia Formation can be classified into two units: high TiO2 and low TiO2. The TiO2 concentration of the former is generally higher than 1%, which occurs in the lower part with high-grade metamorphism, but the latter is less than 1% and crops out in the upper part with low-grade metamorphism. The high-TiO2 unit is dominated by tholeiitic lavas showing high rare earth element (REE) contents (~REE = 83.4-180.8 pg/ g), high light/heavy REE (LREE/HREE) ratios (LREE/HREE=2.17-5.85) and weak negative Eu anomaly (Eu=0.79-1.01). Its trace element patterns display weak Nb-Ta anomalies with respect to Th, K, La, Ce, showing within-plate basalt affinities. In contrast, the low-TiO2 unit is characterized by low REE contents, low LREE/HREE ratios, and pronounced Nb-Ta anomalies, indicating typical arc or continental arc signature. Chondrite-normalized REE patterns of basalts and andesites from the Sanwan Formation are flat or LREE depletion, which is very similar to normal mid-oceanic basalt. Therefore, we suggest that these lavas should be formed in a back-arc basin setting. Sr-Nd isotopic data of the basalt in the lower part suggest that the rocks would have been formed in ~1144 Ma. Based on the geochemical and isotopic features of the basalts, we suggest that these rocks in the low part of the Baimianxia Formation should originate from an asthenospheric oceanic-island basalt-like mantle source, which may be produced by partial melting of garnet lherzolite, and significantly underwent fractional crystallization and crustal or lithospheric mantle contamination en route to the surface. However, laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry zircon U-Pb dating of the basalt sample from the upper part of the Baimianxia Formation gives a 437 Ma, indicating a Early Paleozoic age. The geochemical analysis in this paper suggests that they may originate from an arc or continental arc in response to aqueous fluids or melt expelled from a subducting slab, and the partial melting occurred in the garnet stability field. The samples of basalts and andesites in the Sanwan Formation show they are derived from depleted mantle source similar to normal mid-oceanic basalt. Finally, we can conclude that the lavas in the lower part of the Baimianxia Formation represent the geological records of rift-related volcanism in the middle Proterozoic, which is commonly considered to be the precursor of continental breakup and followed by oceanic basin forming from Neoproterozoic to early Paleozoic. Whereas, the lavas in upper part of the Baimianxia Formation and Sanwan Formations may have been generated by the oceanic and continental conversion that occurred in the early Paleozoic. 展开更多

Banded Iron Formations(BIFs) are chemical sediments, ubiquitously distributed in the Precambrian supracrustal belts; thus their trace element compositions are helpful for deciphering geochemical evolution on the Earth through time. However, it is necessary to elucidate factors controlling the whole-rock compositions in order to decode the ancient seawater compositions because their compositions are highly variable. We analyzed major and trace element contents of the BIFs in the 3.8-3.7 Ga Isua supracrustal belt(ISB), southern West Greenland. The BIFs are petrographically classified into four types:Black-,Gray-, Green-and White-types, respectively. The Green-type BIFs contain more amphiboles, and are significantly enriched in Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, heavy rare earth element(HREE) and U contents. However, their bulk compositions are not suitable for estimate of seawater composition because the enrichment was caused by secondary mobility of metamorphic Mg, Ca and Si-rich fluid, involvement of carbonate minerals and silicate minerals of olivine and pyroxene and/or later silicification or contamination of volcanic and clastic materials. The White-type BIFs are predominant in quartz, and have lower transition element and REE contents. The Gray-type BIFs contain both quartz and magnetite. The Black-type BIFs are dominated by magnetite, and contain moderate to high transition element and REE contents. But,positive correlations of V, Ni, Zn and U contents with Zr contents suggest that involvement of detrital, volcanic and exhalative materials influences on their contents. The evidence for significant influence of the materials on the transition element contents such as Ni in the BIFs indicates the transition element contents in the Archean ocean were much lower than previously estimated. We reconstructed secular variations of V,Co, Zn and U contents of BIFs through time, which show Ni and Co contents decreased whereas V, Zn and U contents increased through time. Especially, the Ni and Co contents drastically decreased in the Mesoarchean rather than around the Great Oxidation Event. On the other hand, the V,Zn and U contents progressively increased from the Mesoarchean to the Proterozoic. Stratigraphical trends of the BIFs show increase in Y/Ho ratios and decrease in positive Eu anomaly upwards, respectively. The stratigraphic changes indicate that a ratio of hydrothermal fluid to seawater component gradually decrease through the deposition, and support the Eoarchean plate tectonics, analogous to the their stratigraphic variations of seafloor metalliferous sediments at present and in the Mesoarchean. 展开更多

The lower Ordovician mid-assemblage Formations in the central Ordos Basin of China host prolific gas resources, and most hydrocarbon reserves are stored in naturally-fractured reservoirs. Thus, fracture pathway systems may have a significant impact on reservoir performance. This article focuses on the core-and laboratory-based characterization of fractures.Through the developmental degrees, extended scale, output state and filling characteristics of various types of fractures, the results show that there are three distinct fracture types:1)nearly vertical fractures,2)oblique fractures, and 3)horizontal fractures.Based on a systematic study of the characterization of reservoir space, the main geologic setting of natural gas accumulation and the regional tectonic background, type 1 is mainly driven by the tectonic formation mechanism, and type 3 and parts of low-angle fractures in type 2 are induced by the diagenetic formation mechanism. While recovered paleopressure for methane-rich aqueous inclusions trapped in fracture-filling cement indicates that the fracture opening and growth are consistent with gas maturation and charge and such high-angle fractures in type 2 are caused by the compound formation mechanism. The fractures to hydrocarbon accumulation may play a more significant role in improving the quality of reservoir porosity.Furthermore, connected fractures, dissolved pores and cavities together constitute the three-dimensional pore-cave-fracture network pathway systems, with faults serving as the dominant charge pathways of highly pressurized gas in the study area. Our results demonstrate that protracted growth of a pervasive fracture system is not only the consequence of various formation mechanisms but also intrinsic to quasi-continuous accumulation reservoirs. 展开更多

In mature reservoirs, the success of preformed particle gel(PPG) treatment rests primarily on the ability of the PPG to reduce and/or plug the high permeable formations, but not damage the low permeable formations.Static test models(filtration test model and pressure test model)were used to determine the effect of PPG on low permeable formations. This work used a strong preformed particle gel,Daqing(DQ) gel made by a Chinese company. The particle gel sizes were ranged from 30 to 120 mesh for this work.PPGs are sized in a millimeter or micrometer, which can absorb over a hundred times their weight in liquids. The gel strength was approximately 6500 Pa for a completely swollen PPG with 1 %(weight percentage) NaCl solution(brine).0.05 %,1 %,and 10 % NaCl solutions were used in experiments.Sandstone core permeability was measured before and after PPG treatments. The relationship between cumulative filtration volumes versus filtration times was determined. The results indicate that DQ gels of a particle size of 30–80 mesh did not damage the cores of a low permeability of 3–25 m D.The DQ gels of a smaller particle size ranging from 100 to 120 mesh damaged the core and a cake was formed on the core surface. The results also indicate that more damage occurred when a high load pressure(400 psi) was applied on the high permeability cores(290–310 m D).The penetration of the particle gelsinto the low permeable formations can be decreased by the best selection of gel types, particle sizes, and brine concentrations. 展开更多

Angle rigid multi-agent formations can simultaneously undergo translational, rotational, and scaling maneuvering, therefore combining the maneuvering capabilities of both distance and bearing rigid formations. However, maneuvering angle rigid formations in 2D or 3D with global convergence guarantees is shown to be a challenging problem in the existing literature even when relative position measurements are available.Motivated by angle-induced linear equations in 2D triangles and 3D tetrahedra, this paper aims to solve this challenging problem in both 2D and3D under a leader-follower framework. For the 2D case where the leaders have constant velocities,by using local relative position and velocity measurements,a formation maneuvering law is designed for the followers governed by double-integrator dynamics. When the leaders have time-varying velocities,a sliding mode formation maneuvering law is proposed by using the same measurements. For the 3D case,to establish an angle-induced linear equation for each tetrahedron,we assume that all the followers'coordinate frames share a common Z direction. Then,a formation maneuvering law is proposed for the followers to globally maneuver Z-weakly angle rigid formations in 3D.The extension to Lagrangian agent dynamics and the construction of the desired rigid formations by using the minimum number of angle constraints are also discussed.Simulation examples are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms. 展开更多

It is based on the evaluation of six weights to obtain a final rating. To obtain the final rating a considerable amount of information is needed concerning the rock mass which can be difficult to obtain in some projects or project stages at least with accuracy. In 2007 an alternative classification scheme based on the RMR, the Hierarchical Rock Mass Rating(HRMR) was presented. The main feature of this system was the adaptation to the level of knowledge existent about the rock mass to obtain the classification of the rock mass since it followed a decision tree approach. However, the HRMR was only valid for hard rock granites with low fracturing degrees. In this work, the database was enlarged with approximately 40% more cases considering other types of granite rock masses including weathered granites and based on this increased database the system was updated. Granite formations existent in the north of Portugal including Porto city are predominantly granites. Some years ago a light rail infrastructure was built in the city of Porto and surrounding municipalities which involved considerable challenges due to the high heterogeneity levels of the granite formations and the difficulties involved in their geomechanical characterization. In this work it is intended to provide also a contribution to improve the characterization of these formations with special emphasis to the weathered horizons. A specific subsystem applicable to the weathered formations was developed. The results of the validation of these systems are presented and show acceptable performances in identifying the correct class using less information than with the RMR system. 展开更多

Lower Permian formations within the Buqingshan Mountains (A'nyemaqen ophiolitic zone, eastem sector of the eastern Kunlun) were formed in the following paleogeodynamic environments (from north to south) : ( 1 ) shelf and slope of a passive continental margin in a marginal sea; (2)partially Permian metamorphic rocks of subduction-accretion complexes and volcanogenic rocks of an ensimatic island arc, of the age limited from above by the Asselian - Sakmarian; and (3) an island are slope and oceanic trench. Subduction-accretion complexes and the island are volcanites are overlain with a sharp angular unconformity by a carbonate-conglomerate sequence, which presents as local molasse of the Early Permian age. Based on fusulinids from the basal limestone, the age of the local molasse is first defined as the Yakhtashian-Bolorian, i.e, Artinskian-Kungurian (?). The thorough investigations revealed that the initial closure of the eastern Paleotethys within the eastern Kunlun corresponded to the Sakmarian-Yakhtashian (Artinskian) boundary, whereas in the western Paleotethys sector (Northern Pamirs) the closure occurred considerably earlier, prior to the Late Bashkirian. Thus, the idea that the Paleotethys in the eastern Kunlun reached its maximum width in the Permian, is highly questionable. During the Early Permian the A'nyernaqen branch of the Paleotethys intensely decreased. Beginning from the Bolorian (Kungurian) and up to the end of the Permian this branch represented its relict in the form of a marginal sea depression. It may be suggested that the Paleotethys closure in the A'nyemaqen took place gradually from the west to the east and covered a long period from the Late Carboniferous to the terminal Early Permian. 展开更多

Iron formations are valuable archives of sedimentary conditions and post-depositional events. However, geochemical proxies commonly used to determine genetic characteristics can be variably modified during metamorphism and deformation, hampering their use as records of regional geological events. This work focuses on strongly reworked magnetite-quartz-rich rocks from the São Josédo Campestre Massif, one of the oldest fragments of preserved crust in South America. The genetic classification of these magnetite-quartz-rich rocks is not straightforward because primary assemblages and textures were variably modified by granulite facies metamorphism during a regional Paleoproterozoic migmatization event. To address genetic ambiguities,we analyzed their magnetite and pyroxene chemistry, wholerock geochemistry, and Sm-Nd isotopes.Magnetite chemistry indicates that pyroxene-poor iron formations(Type B)are low in trace elements such as Ti,Al,V,and Mn,suggesting a chemical similarity to iron formations elsewhere. In contrast, magnetites from pyroxene-enriched Type A iron formations are rich in trace elements and more akin to magnetite crystallized from higher temperature systems, such as skarn and IOCG.The^(147)Sm/^(144)Nd of these rocks show substantial variation even at the outcrop scale, indicating a locally-controlled,highly heterogeneous mixture of Archean,Paleoproterozoic, and Neoproterozoic sources. Therefore, our geochemical tools point out to heterogenous signatures of these magnetitequartz rocks and proxies compatible with both low and high-temperature conditions and age of deposition spanning sources from the Archean to the Neoproterozoic. We interpret that the studied São Josédo Campestre magnetite-quartz rocks represent Archean iron formations with original magnetite chemistry and isotopic signatures variably modified by metamorphism and by at least one deformation-related hydrothermal event. These results contrast with similar examples from China and Greenland where iron formations either preserved the magnetite chemistry or the primary isotopic signatures. Our study indicates that metamorphism can selectively affect chemical proxies used to study iron formations and undermine the genetic classification of iron ores. Thus, these proxies should be carefully applied in the interpretation of syn-depositional environments of polydeformed belts. 展开更多

In recent years, the Yanchang shale-oil formations of the Ordos Basin are rich in reserves with complex lithology and structure characteristics, low porosity and low permeability, and weak anomalies for oil and water discriminations, have been the key targets of unconventional oil/gas resource exploration and development in the relevant areas. The joint acoustic-electrical(AE)properties can be used to interpret reservoir lithology, mineralogy, pore structure, and fluid saturation. To conduct tests of thin section analysis,X-ray diff raction, and ultrasonic and electrical experiments at diff erent pressures and saturation degrees, cores from the shale-oil formations in the Q area of the basin are collected. The variations in AE properties with respect to clay content, porosity, pressure(microfracture),and saturation are analyzed. The experimental results indicate that the rock physics behaviors of sandstones with diff erent clay contents vary significantly. The AE properties of clean sandstones are basically dependent on the microfractures(pressure),while for muddy sandstones, the clay content is an important factor affecting the responses. The target reservoir consists of interbedded sandstone and shale layers. The AE equivalent medium equations and the Gurevich theory are applied to establish the joint models for the diff erent lithologies and simulate the variations in AE properties with respect to fluid type, pore structure, and mineral components. The three-dimensional joint templates of clean and muddy sandstones,as well as shale, are developed based on the elastic and electrical attributes and then calibrated using the experimental and well-log data. The reservoir properties are estimated with the templates and validated by the log data. The results indicate that the joint templates based on lithology characteristics can eff ectively characterize the properties of interbedded sandstone and shale layers.Furthermore, the combined application of AE data provides more beneficial information for the assessment of rock properties, leading to precise estimates that conform with the actual formation conditions. 展开更多

The present investigation is concerned with the reaction of barium and iron nitrates mixtures using three different molar ratios, 1:1 (Ⅰ), 1:2 (Ⅱ) and 2:1 (Ⅲ) at different temperatures as pointed out from the DTA data. The reaction products exhibit 12 compounds namely, Ba(NO3)2, αFe2O3, Fe3O4, BaFeO3, BaFeO2.9, hexagonal BaFeO3-x, tetragonal BaFeO3-x, BaFe2O4, αBaFe2O4, Ba2Fe6O11, Ba5Fe14O26 and BaFe12O19. The formation of these products depend on the molar ratio between the reactants and the reaction temperature. The reaction products were studied by DTA and TG techniques and characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns, magnetic susceptibility data and scanning electron microscopy, SEM. 展开更多

Chemical fractionation of toxic metals (As, Cd and Zn) along the soil profile at waste dumpsites in military formations for dry and wet seasons using Tessier’s sequential extraction procedure was determined using AAS techniques. The order of yield across the fractions was mainly: exchangeable (F1) 2) 3) 4) 5). Statistical analysis (p < 0.05) indicated that there was no significant variation between the values of results obtained from dumpsites A and B of each sampling station. However, the variation between the dumpsites and control was significant (p > 0.05) in most stations. The pollution index was assessed using the degree of contamination (Cd), the modified degree of contamination (mCd), potential ecological risk and mobility factor. The Cd indicated that NFB top soil was considerably contaminated (16.3) while the soils (20 - 40 and 40 - 80 cm) recorded moderate (13.6) and low (5.60) contaminations respectively. Top soil of NSM was moderately contaminated while the contamination status of NPS, NFB and SFB waste dump soils across the depths was “low”. The mCd index for NFB dump soil was “moderate” (2.33) and subsoils (20 - 40 and 40 - 80 cm) were “low” (1.94) and “Nil to very low” (0.800) respectively. The mCd for the other three dumpsites was “Nil to very low” except the top soil of NSM which was “low”. The order of the toxic metals mobility in the studied soils using the Mobility factor (Mf) for dry and wet seasons was Cd > As > Zn and Zn > Cd > As respectively. 展开更多
