The research results show that there are deep tectonic background for occurring moderate earthquakes in Lingshi-Jiexiu region between Linfen and Taiyuan. The ...Having analysised the data collected by our survey ship'Ocean IV 'in the Bransfield Strait in 1991,we recognized that the geomorphology,gravity and magnetic anomalies trending NE direction along bandings. The sediments in the Bransfield Strait can be subdivided into two sequences:the first rifting equence and the second rifting sequence.The basement was faulted into a half-graben in northwestern side of the Bransfield trough. Considering the crustal structure crossing the South Shetland Islands,the Bransfield Strait and the Antarctic Peninsula, we propse a two-phase rifting tectonic evolution model and a layered-shear model for the lithospheric deformation under the effects of extensional stress field.展开更多
The overburden failure causes the changes of the constant electric field, and the resistivity is the main parameter in these changes. The experimental simulation about tbe response relation between the overburden fail...The overburden failure causes the changes of the constant electric field, and the resistivity is the main parameter in these changes. The experimental simulation about tbe response relation between the overburden failure and its electrical parameter changes is made by building the similar material physics model of mining. The experiment results are used to analyze and test the in-situ detection. The research indicates that the resistivity changes with the electric characteristic of the rock in cracked zone and caving zone caused by overburden failure, the response characteristics of resistivity vary with the failure degrees at different overburden failure zone and that they are corresponding. The resistivity method used in monitoring the overburden failure can determine the height and the affecting scopes of the cracked zone and caving zone. This can provide reliable techaological guarantee for mining design and safe production.展开更多

The satellite carr...The China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite, launched into orbit from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre on February 2 nd, 2018, is China's first space satellite dedicated to geophysical exporation. The satellite carries eight scientific payloads including high-precision magnetometers to detect electromagnetic changes in space, in particular changes associated with global earthquake disasters. In order to encourage and facilitate use by geophysical scientists of data from the satellite's payloads, this paper introduces the application systems developed for the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite by the Institute of Crustal Dynamics, China Earthquake Administration;these include platform construction, data classification, data storage, data format, and data access and acquisition.展开更多
