To unlearn the meaning of a sustainable water resource conservation is now an essential issue in using of sustained, sound, and high-quality water in the world. In this paper, a water quality purification by the Schumann frequencies was first considered through the murmuring sound of upper reach at the mountain stream (Kyoto Pref., Japan) regarding the conservation of water resources. Second, water is changing freely and easily accepting the wavelength of all the sounds. We therefore referred to a flow and dynamic equilibrium to realize and understand the water quality purification process. Finally, a “consciousness only Buddhist philosophy” of water quality as an analogical approach was introduced to realize and understand the water purification process. As a result, we have confirmed the water purification capability by Schmann frequencies in an experiment on water quality. And through the experiment, we have realized the importance/significance to find the meaning for a person’s primary meaningless such as 1) meaning connection among life, environment, and economics as a condition of human life, 2) energy, entropy and fluctuation under law of thermodynamics, 3) a metaphor between water quality and mutual possession of the ten worlds based on conscious-only theory, and 4) sense of wonder through the water purification process. 展开更多

It was verified that the correlation between logarithm of free radical scavenging rate constants (1gks) and E-HOMO substantially arises from the correlation between E-HOMO and O-H bond dissociation energies (BDE) of antioxidants. Furthermore, E-HOMO were poorly correlated with the logarithm of relative free radical scavenging rate constants (1gk(3)/k(1)) for various types of antioxidants that possess complex structures (r = 0.5602). So in a broad sense, E-HOMO was not an appropriate parameter to characterize the free radical scavenging activity of antioxidants. 展开更多

In order to reduce deep level defects, the theory and process design of 4H-SiC homoepitaxial layer implanted by carbon ion are studied. With the Monte Carlo simulator TRIM, the ion implantation range, location of peak concentration and longitudinal straggling of carbon are calculated. The process for improving deep energy level in undoped 4H-SiC homoepitaxial layer by three times carbon ion-implantation is proposed, including implantation energy, dose, the SiO2 resist mask, annealing temperature, annealing time and annealing protection. The deep energy level in 4H-SiC material can be significantly improved by implantation of carbon atoms into a shallow surface layer. The damage of crystal lattice can be repaired well, and the carbon ions are effectively activated after 1 600 ℃ annealing, meanwhile, deep level defects are decreased. 展开更多

After a brief review on the progresses in GaN substrates by ammonothermal method and Na-flux method and hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE) technology, our research results of growing GaN thick layer by a gas fow-rnodulated HVPE, removing the GaN layer through an efficient self-separation process from sapphire substrate, and modifying the uniformity of multiple wafer growth are presented. The effects of surface morphology and defect behaviors on the GaN homo-epitaxial growth on free standing substrate are also discussed, and followed by the advances of LEDs on GaN substrates and prospects of their applications in solid state lighting. 展开更多

Using five group dating of the fossil by Uranium series age method shows that the age of Nanjing Homo Erectus is between 280- 430 ka B. P. Combining with the analysis of fossil mammalian form Stegodon, Sus.Lydekkeri Zdansly, M.pachyosteus Young, P.grayi Zdansky and E.SanmeniensisTeilhard et Pive teau, which are located in the same stratum, the authors thinks that the Nanjing Homo Erectus may have lived in the late Mid Pleistocene (about 350 ka B.P.). Based upon the spores and pollen in the cave sediments of the area, we can find that most of spores and pollen are subtropical and warm temperature types. For instance, broad leaf trees which are fond of warm climate, including Cunning hamia, Jsuga and Pinus ,as well as Morus, Carpinus and Ptendium. Among the above spores and pollen, only Tsuga,Liquidambar, Betula,Ulmus and Salix are the remainders of Humid hot environment from the Tertiary period. Above evidences illustrate that the living environment of the Nanjing Homo Erectus not only was not cloder but also was not drier than the Peking Man’s. It could be said that dry climate and the ice age of the Mid Pleistocene didn’t undergo this area.As for the manner of the Homo Erectus’s making stone artifact and using fire, because now we have not found the evidence of the stone artifact and the ash, the futher excavation to the talus of the Huludong cave should be needed. 展开更多
