The special transfer paper was prepared by coating the paste mainly containing hot-melt adhesive hlgh-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose (H-HPC) and printing thickener earboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). The effects of each ingredient in the paste on color yield of the prints and dye penetration were investigated. The major results indicate that, color yield is chiefly governed by the adhesion extent imparted by H-HPC, the type of fixing alkaline agent, and the content of urea. Trichloroacetic acid (TCAA) as the fixing alkaline agent and adding 5% urea can enhance the color depth obviously. Dye penetration depends on the coating quantity on the transfer paper, the contents of urea and dicyandiamide. The printed silk possesses a higher color yield, color fastness of grade 3 or above, clear sharpness, and good handle when the paste contains 3 % H-HPC, 0. 7 % CMC, 3 % TCAA, 5 % urea, 3 % dicyandiamide, and 0. 5 % physical sorbent nano-silica.展开更多

The concentrations of HAAs were analyzed at specified time intervals to track their decomposition. Except for O3 and UV,the four combined oxidation processes remarkably enhance the decomposition of DCAA and TCAA owing to the generated very reactive hydroxyl radicals. The fastest decomposition process is O3/H2O2/UV,closely followed by O3/UV. DCAA is much easier to decompose than TCAA. The kinetics of HAA decomposition by O3/UV can be described well by a pseudo first-order reaction model under a constant initial dissolved O3 concentration and fixed UV radiation. Humic acids and HCO3-in the reaction system both decrease the decomposition rate constants for DCAA and TCAA. The amount of H2O2 accumulates in the presence of humic acids in the O3/UV process.展开更多

The electronic structure and ferroelectric mechanism of trichloroacetamide were studied using first principles calculations and density functional theory within the generalized gradient approximation.Using both Bader ...The electronic structure and ferroelectric mechanism of trichloroacetamide were studied using first principles calculations and density functional theory within the generalized gradient approximation.Using both Bader charge and electron deformation density,large molecular spontaneous polarization is found to originate from the charge transfer cause by the strong“push-pull”effect of electron-releasing interacting with electron-withdrawing groups.The intermolecular hydrogen bonds,Ne-H…O,produce dipole moments in adjacent molecules to be aligned with each other.They also reduce the potential energy of the molecular chain threaded by hydrogen bonds.Due to the symmetric crystalline properties,however,the polarization of trichloroacetamide is mostly compensated and therefore small.Using the Berry Phase method,the spontaneous polarization of trichloroacetamide was simulated,and good agreement with the experimental values was found.Considering the polarization characteristics of trichloroacetamide,we constructed a one-dimensional ferroelectric Hamiltonian model to calculate the ferroelectric properties of TCAA.Using the Hamiltonian model,the thermal properties and ferroelectricity of trichloroacetamide were studied using the Monte Carlo method,and the Tc value was calculated.展开更多
