A new species of Macrophya Dahlbom(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) with a key to species of Macrophya planata group

The Macrophya planata species group is proposed and defined by mesoscutellum very fiat with sharp lateral carina and the dorsal side of some antennomeres white. A new species of the group from Tibet, China is described： Macrophya acutiscutellaris Wei, Li ＆ Heng sp. nov.. The new species is similar to M. pseudoplanata Saini et al., 1996, but differs from the latter in body length 13.5 mm in female; apical third of hind tibia entirely black; antenna 2.5 times as long as head breadth; postoeellar area 1.6 times as broad as long; harpe weakly narrowed toward apex. A key to all known species of Macrophya planata group is provided. Type specimens of this new species are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China.

Seven new species and a key to species of Siobla(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) from Shaanxi,China

The species of Siobla Cameron from Shaanxi, northwestern China are investigated. Seven new species are described： Siobla centralia Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., S. curvata Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., S. listoni Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., S. pseudoplesia Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., S. qinba Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., S. shaanxi Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov., and S. vulgaria Niu ＆ Wei sp. nov. A key to the 26 known species of Siobla from Shaanxi is provided.

A new species of Emphytopsis Wei & Nie(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) with a key to world species of the genus

A new species ofEmphytopsis Wei ＆ Nie from Guangxi, China is described： E. maculoclypea Wei sp. nov. The new species resembles E. punctata Wei ＆ Nie, 1998 and E. unimaculata Wei, 20ll but differs from them in the anterior of clypeus and posterior of hind orbit black; the upper comer of mesepistemum and the ventral side of middle and hind coxae with black spot; the postocellar area fiat, not above temple; the lateral furrows very fine and weak; and the area below pore line in female lancet about 1.8x as high as broad. A key to the known species of the genus is provided.

STUDY ON THE GENUS ORALIA MALAISE (HYMENOPTERA: TENTHREDINIDAE) OF CHINA ①

The genus Oralia Malaise is recorded from China with three species described as new to science: Oralia fulva sp. nov., Oralia acuritheca sp. nov., Oralia tibetana sp. nov.. The genus Himindica Saini, 1996 is treated as junior synonym of Oralia Malaise, 1961. Two new specific synonyms and two new combinations are proposed: Oralia nigroclypeata Malaise, 1961 = Himindica nigrothorax Saini et Vasu, 1997, syn. nov., Oralia fossulata Malaise, 1961 = Himindica maculipleuris Saini et Vasu, 1997, syn. nov.; Oralia himalayaensis (Saini et Deep, 1991), comb. nov., Oralia meghalayaensis (Saini et Vasu, 1997), comb. nov. A synoptic key is also provided for the known species of Oralia Malaise.

TWO NEW GENERA OF ALLANTINAE FROM CHINA(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae)

In this paper two new genera and two new species of Empriini,Allantinae from China are described:Blennallantus compressicornis gen. et sp. nov.,Allanempria rufithoracica gen. et sp. nov. The type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of the Central South Forestry University.

Six New Species of Sawflies from Gansu and Qinghai Provinces of China (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae)

Three new Tenthredinidae species are reported from Gansu and three from Qinghai Provinces of China. Tenthredo （Tenthredo） sinotemula sp. nov., Tenthredo （Tenthredella） labrangensis sp. nov. and Tenthredo （Tenthredella） sinosimplex sp. nov. are described from Gansu, Tenthredo （Tenthredella） rolleri sp. nov., Tenthredo （Tenthredella） qinghaiensis sp. nov. and Tenthredo （Tenthredella） yunningsiensis sp. nov. from Qinghai Province.

FIRST RECORDS AND NEW SPECIES OF CALIROA COSTA (HYMENOPTERA: TENTHREDINIDAE: HETERARTH RINAE) FROM INDIA ①

The genus Caliroa Costa with its species C. glabrifrons Malaise is recorded for the first time from India. One more species, C. feri is added new to science from this region. A key to Oriental species of this genus is provided.

ADDITION OF THREE NEW SPECIES TO MONOTYPIC GENUS HIMINDICA SAINI (HYMENOPTERA:SYMPHYTA: TENTHREDINIDAE:ALLANTINAE) FROM INDIA

To a monotypic genus Himindica Saini from India, three new species are added a fresh. Described and illustrated as new are: H. nigrithorax, H. maculipleuris and H. meghalayaensis. A key for identification of all four species is provided.

Three species, Macrophya circulotibialis Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov., M. curvatitheca Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov. and M. changbaina Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov., of the imitator-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom （Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae） from China are described as new to science. A key to all known species of the imitator-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study, including all holotypes and paratypes of the new species, are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, and the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

Three new species of annulitibia-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom (Hymenoptera： Tenthredinidae)in Mts. Qinling from China

Three new species of the annulitibia-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom （Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae） in Mts. Qinling from China are described, namely M acrophya brevicinctata Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov., M. qinlingium Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. and M. rugosifossa Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. A key to all known species of the annulitibia-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study are mostly deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, including all holotypes and some paratypes of the new species. Other paratypes of the new species are deposited in the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

Review of some Siobla(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae)species

Six Siobla species are revised,including the following new synonymies:S.rufoscapa Wei,2002,syn.nov.,synonymized by S.villosa Malaise,1931;S.tuberculatana Wei,2002,syn.nov.,synonymized by S.malaisei Mallach,1933 and Encarsioneura similis Mocsáry,1909,syn.nov.,synonymized by S.ruficornis(Gimmerthal,1834).S.frigida Mocsáry,1909,as the synonym of S.sturmii(Klug,1817)was recovered;Siobla plesia stat.nov.is regarded to be a valid species,rather than a subspecies of S.sturmii.Siobla iridipennis Malaise,1934 is redescribed based on the holotype,and a new species group,Siobla iridipennis group,is proposed.The characters of the group are briefly discussed.All illustrations of type specimens mentioned in this paper are provided.In addition,the lectotypes of Encarsioneura similis Mocsáry,1909,Encarsioneura frigida Mocsáry,1909,and Siobla sturmii plesia Malaise,1945 are designated here.
