The original motivation is that we found the standard Z refinement relation is not adequate or correct when considering specifications that have temporal relationships of operations. The concept of temporal state variables is introduced into Z. Then new implementation relations are defined and new refinement relations are deduced, mainly for temporal state variables to process temporal relationships of operations. We use state transition systems to abstract the temporal state transitions. A simple example is used to show the procedures of MVORM. Finally some directions of further work are forwarded.展开更多

Multiple viewpoints oriented requirements method (MVORM) is a new method for resolving these problems. This paper develops two generic formal frameworks of MVORM, framework based on refinement relation (FBRR) and framework based on implementation relation (FBIR). They are generic, because no assumptions are made about the development process or the formal description languages to be used. Three kinds of specification relations and three kinds of specification transformations are discussed over FBIR and FBRR. This paper also compares the equivalence between FBIR and FBRR. We point out that an equivalent FBIR can be found for any FBRR, but reverse transformation is not always possible. We think FBIR is better than FBRR on most cases.展开更多

Objective:To assess the attitude and willingness of medical students of the Faculty of Medicine,University of Jaffna,regarding gamete donation.Methods:An institutional-based descriptive cross-sectional study was condu...Objective:To assess the attitude and willingness of medical students of the Faculty of Medicine,University of Jaffna,regarding gamete donation.Methods:An institutional-based descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine,University of Jaffna,from September 2022 to May 2023 among undergraduate medical students who gave their voluntary participation.A self-administered questionnaire was used as a study instrument to collect data regarding their attitude and willingness toward gamete donation.Results:A total of 345 participants were recruited and their sociodemographic data revealed that 56.8%of the participants were female,62.3%aged between 26 and 30 years,and 92.2%were unmarried.Many of them received information regarding gamete donations during their clinical appointments.Over half(67.8%)of them showed a negative attitude towards gamete donation.Regarding willingness,only 39.7%of participants had a positive approach for being a gamete donor;among them,84.7%preferred anonymous donations.Religion and ethnicity had a significant influence on their attitudes and willingness.In addition,male was also found to be more willing to donate gametes.Conclusions:Most medical students have negative views about gamete donation.Imparting awareness and knowledge of assisted reproductive technology and gamete donation within medical students'sociocultural and ethical backgrounds might facilitate a change in attitude towards gamete donation amongst future medical practitioners.展开更多
Due to the deep integration of information technology and operational technology,networked control systems are experiencing an increasing risk of international cyber attacks.In practice,industrial cyber security is a ...Due to the deep integration of information technology and operational technology,networked control systems are experiencing an increasing risk of international cyber attacks.In practice,industrial cyber security is a significant topic because current networked control systems are supporting various critical infrastructures to offer vital utility services.By comparing with traditional IT systems,this paper first analyzes the uncontrollable cyber threats and classified attack characteristics,and elaborates the intrinsic vulnerabilities in current networked control systems and novel security challenges in future Industrial Internet.After that,in order to overcome partial vulnerabilities,this paper presents a few representative security mechanisms which have been successfully applied in today’s industrial control systems,and these mechanisms originally improve traditional IT defense technologies from the perspective of industrial availability.Finally,several popular security viewpoints,adequately covering the needs of industrial network structures and service characteristics,are proposed to combine with burgeoning industrial information technologies.We target to provide some helpful security guidelines for both academia and industry,and hope that our insights can further promote in-depth development of industrial cyber security.展开更多
A view is often more than just a piece of landscape,framed by the gaze and evoking emotion.Without diminishing these obvious‘tourismimportant’advantages of a view,it is noteworthy that in itself it might play the ro...A view is often more than just a piece of landscape,framed by the gaze and evoking emotion.Without diminishing these obvious‘tourismimportant’advantages of a view,it is noteworthy that in itself it might play the role of an interpretative tool,especially for large-scale phenomena,the knowledge and understanding of which is the goal of geotourism.In this paper,we analyze the importance of scenic drives and trails for tourism,particularly geotourism,focusing on their ability to create conditions for experiencing the dynamically changing landscapes in which lies knowledge of the natural processes shaping the Earth’s surface and the methods and degree of its resource exploitation.The issues are found in both wider and local contexts.A more detailed insight has been conducted on the basis of two,although in some sense peripheral,tourism regions from the Sudeten Mountains(southwestern Poland):Lasocki Grzbiet(a ridge)and Pasmo Lesistej(a small range).The subjects of the investigation were complex:the geotourism potential of selected viewpoints located on the most scenic routes(mostly paths and forest tracks)as well as the problems of maintenance,conservation,and protection of their educational value.Our work is based on desk and field research supported by results of GIS visibility analyses(conducted in the QGIS program).展开更多
