This is also true in LaFeAsOl-xFx （x ≤ 0.2,） and many other iron-based superconductors, which leads to proposals that supercon- ductivity is mediated by fluctuations associated with the nearby magnetism. Here we report the discovery of a new superconductivity dome without low-energy magnetic fluctuations in LaFeAsO1-xFx with 0.25 ≤ x ≤ 0.75, where the maximal critical temperature Tc at Xopt =0.5-0.55 is even higher than that at x ≤0.2. By nuclear magnetic resonance and transmission electron microscopy, we show that a C4 rotation symmetry-breaking struc- tural transition takes place for x 〉 0.5 above To. Chirality transformation is a basic,attractive,and important strategy for obtaining enantioenriched products with desired chiral elements.The reported chirality conversion reaction often involves the process from one ...Chirality transformation is a basic,attractive,and important strategy for obtaining enantioenriched products with desired chiral elements.The reported chirality conversion reaction often involves the process from one type of chirality to another one.To better utilize the chirality transformation strategy for obtaining two or more products with different chiral elements in a single reaction,a new method of kinetic resolution accompanied by a chirality transformation protocol is proposed and successfully realized in this study.This process is used for the asymmetric oxidation of phenol compounds along with the kinetic resolution of oxaziridines.A wide scope of products,including axially chiral phenols,oxaziridines,andα-hydroxyl cyclic ketones were smoothly obtained in high levels of yields and enantioselectivities in the developed method.These products can be readily used for the synthesis of various types of chiral ligands,which are potential choices for other catalytic asymmetric reactions.展开更多

Based on the difference in severity of the disease and complications, 80 cases of acquired immune-deficiency syndrome (AIDS) accompanied with cough were divided into 2 groups: One treated by traditional Chinese medici...Based on the difference in severity of the disease and complications, 80 cases of acquired immune-deficiency syndrome (AIDS) accompanied with cough were divided into 2 groups: One treated by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM group), including 58 cases and the other treated by Integrated Chinese and Western medicine (integrated group), 22 cases. The therapeutic results show that in the TCM group there were 18 cases (31.03%) with clinical cure of the respiratory tract infection, 7 cases with therapeutic effect (12.07%) and 33 cases without any effect (56.90%), for a total rate of 43.10% therapeutic effectiveness; while in the integrated group there were 6 cases with clinical cure (27.27%), 2 cases with therapeutic effect (9.09%) and 14 cases without any effect (63.64%), the total rate of therapeutic effectiveness being 36.36%, slightly lower than in the TCM group and possibly related to greater severity of the disease or complications.展开更多
Field experiments were conducted under artificial rainfalls to investigate the processes of soil failures on slope.It is found that the failures were temporally discontinuous and spatially discrete,with a wide range o...Field experiments were conducted under artificial rainfalls to investigate the processes of soil failures on slope.It is found that the failures were temporally discontinuous and spatially discrete,with a wide range of magnitudes,accompanied by variations of soil moisture and pore-water pressure.Specifically,the experiments indicate that soil failures are more likely to occur on slope with high content of fine particles;the pore-pressure varies in response to soil failures in that the failures evidently affect the pore of the underlying soil.Migration of fine particles from upper to lower part of the slope also impacts the pore-water pressure variations in the slope profile.It is concluded that soil heterogeneity has a significant effect on variation in pore-water pressure,and fine particles transportation influences the building of pore-water pressure,as well as the mass depth,initial porosity,which is key to understanding the spatial characteristics of slope failures.展开更多
