Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factor Analysis of Attended Collection and Delivery Points in Changsha City, China

Attended collection and delivery points are vital components of ‘last-mile logistics’.Based on point of interest(POI) data for Cainiao Stations and China Post stations in Changsha City, China, this paper provides a detailed exploration of the basic features, spatial distribution, and location influencing factors of attended collection and delivery points.Specifically, analyses of the types, service objects and location distributions of the attended collection and delivery points alongside a discussion of their spatial pattern and influencing factors provides a reference for their general geographic layout and characteristics.The findings of this study indicate that: 1) The main mode of operation of attended collection and delivery points is franchises, with other modes of operation rely on supermarkets and other individual shop types.2) The main service targets of attended collection and delivery points are communities, schools, and businesses, followed by townships, enterprises, scenic spots, and administrative units.3) Approximately 77.44% of the attended collection and delivery points are located near the exits of service areas;others are situated in the centre of the service areas.For the Cainiao Stations, 80% are located within 125 m of the exit;for the China Post stations, 80% are located within 175 m of the exit.4) The spatial distribution of the attended collection and delivery points in Changsha is unbalanced, with ‘more centre and fewer surrounding’.The centre is an ‘inverted triangle’, and the edge is an ‘orphan’, showing a northwest-southeast orientation and symmetrical along the axis.The layout of the attended collection and delivery points forms three core areas, and the number of sites decreases with the distance from the core.5) The number and distribution of the attended collection and delivery points are strongly consistent with the regional economic development level, population, and roadway system traffic convenience.Most attended collection and delivery points are on residential, scientific and educational, and commercial and financial land.

Time trend and seasonality in medically attended respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infections in US children aged 0-5 years, January 2010-January 2023

Objective The long-term time trend and seasonality variations of first-time medically attended respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)infections among young children are unknown.We aim to examine the time trend of medically attended first-time RSV infections among young children in the USA from January 2010 through January 2023.Design This is a population-based cohort study using electronic health records(EHRs).Monthly incidence rate of medically attended first-time RSV infection(cases per 10000000 person-days).A time-series regression model was used to model and predict time trends and seasonality.Setting Multicenter and nationwide TriNetX Network in the USA.Participants The study population comprised children aged 0–5 years who had medical visits during the period of January 2010 to January 2023.Results The data included 29013937 medical visits for children aged 0–5 years(46.5%girls and 53.5%boys)from January 2010 through January 2023.From 2010 through 2019,the monthly incidence rate of first-time medically attended RSV infection in children aged 0–5 years followed a consistent seasonal pattern.Seasonal patterns of medically attended RSV infections were significantly disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic.In 2020,the seasonal variation disappeared with a peak incidence rate of 20 cases per 1000000 person-days,a decrease of 97.4%from the expected peak rate(rate ratio or RR:0.026,95%CI 0.017 to 0.040).In 2021,the seasonality returned but started 4 months earlier,lasted for 9 months,and peaked in August at a rate of 753 cases per 1000000 person-days,a decrease of 9.6%from the expected peak rate(RR:0.90,95%CI 0.82 to 0.99).In 2022,the seasonal pattern is similar to prepandemic years but reached a historically high rate of 2182 cases per 10000000 person-days in November,an increase of 143%from the expected peak rate(RR:2.43,95%CI 2.25 to 2.63).The time trend and seasonality of the EHR-based medically attended RSV infections are consistent with those of RSV-associated hospitalisations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)survey-based surveillance system.Conclusion The findings show the disrupted seasonality during the COVID-19 pandemic and a historically high surge of paediatric RSV cases that required medical KEY POINTS⇒Question What are the long-term trends and recent seasonality pattern changes in medically attended respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)infections in chil-dren aged 0–5 years in the USA?⇒Findings This population-based cohort study of 29013937 medical visits for children aged 0–5 years found that the monthly incidence rate of first-time medically attended RSV infections followed a consistent seasonal pattern during 2010–2019,the seasonal pattern was significantly disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic.The seasonal variation dis-appeared in 2020,returned in 2021 but started ear-lier and reached a historical high rate of 2182 cases per 10000000 person-days in November 2022.⇒Meaning These data suggest that COVID-19 pan-demic contributed to the disrupted seasonality and the 2022 surge of paediatric RSV cases that need-ed medical attention.This study demonstrates the potential of electronic health records as a cost-effective alternative for real-time surveillance of un-expected disease patterns including RSV infection.attention in 2022.Our study demonstrates the potential of EHRs as a cost-effective alternative for real-time pathogen and syndromic surveillance of unexpected disease patterns including RSV infection.

智能汽车变道盲区影像对驾驶员认知负荷与安全性的影响

智能汽车变道盲区影像在为驾驶员提供更多环境信息的同时也可能增加驾驶员的认知负荷。针对这一问题,提出改进AttenD算法,建立认知负荷与驾驶员注视点分布的关系模型,对3种智能汽车品牌车辆开展实车路测实验,分析多种外部条件下驾驶员与不同变道盲区影像交互过程中注视特征、驾驶行为特征以及认知负荷的差异。结果表明,增大盲区影像面积、提高盲区影像面积占中控屏面积的比例、减少扫视路径冗余能降低变道过程中的认知负荷。

Assessment of Breast Cancer Prevention Practices among Women Attending Primary Health Care in Abha City, Aseer Region, Saudi Arabia

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, with breast cancer being the most common (2.26 million new cases and 685,000 deaths). In Saudi Arabia, breast cancer ranked the first among females in 2014, accounting for 15.9% of all cancers reported among Saudi nationals and 28.7% of all cancers reported among females of all ages. Early detection of breast cancer could decrease the risks, have a better prognosis, and have better outcomes/more successful treatments. Prevalence of breast cancer reached more than 25% of all diagnosed cancer in the kingdom among women. Aim: This study aims to assess the knowledge and performance of women attending primary care centers about breast self-examination and mammogram screening for prevention and early detection of breast cancer in Abha city primary healthcare centers, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Research Method: cross sectional design was conducted by using questionnaire, which was distributed to primary care center nurses. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, version 25. Results: The study found that participants had poor awareness and knowledge about breast self-examination, risk factors for breast cancer, and trends and practices in early diagnosis of breast cancer. Conclusion and Recommendations: It recommends increasing awareness campaigns and providing educational programs to improve knowledge and practices.

Evaluation of Attending Medical Teams and Their Impact on the DRG Components of Cholecystectomy

Objective:This study assessed the role of the attending medical team in the cost control of the cholecystectomy DRG components.Methods:The association between team structure,workflow,and treatment outcomes was analyzed using a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative data and qualitative interviews from 628 patients.Results:Inter-professional teamwork significantly affected length of stay,treatment costs,and recurrence rates,with experienced teams performing better in terms of emergency response and collaborative efficiency.Patient satisfaction was generally high,indicating that good teamwork enhances treatment outcomes.Significance:The study highlights the importance of optimizing team configuration to improve the quality,efficiency,and cost control of healthcare.
