A bundle adjustment method of remote sensing images based on dual quaternion is presented,which conducted the uniform disposal corresponding location and attitude of sequence images by the dual quaternion.The constraint relationship of image itself and sequence images is constructed to compensate the systematic errors.The feasibility of this method used in bundle adjustment is theoretically tested by the analysis of the structural characteristics of error equation and normal equation based on dual quaternion.Different distributions of control points and stepwise regression analysis are introduced into the experiment for RC30 image.The results show that the adjustment accuracy can achieve 0.2min plane and 1min elevation.As a result,this method provides a new technique for geometric location problem of remote sensing images. 展开更多

The concept of dual image reversible data hiding(DIRDH) is the technique that can produce two camouflage images after embedding secret data into one original image.Moreover,not only can the secret data be extracted from two camouflage images but also the original image can be recovered.To achieve high image quality,Lu et al.'s method applied least-significant-bit(LSB) matching revisited to DIRDH.In order to further improve the image quality,the proposed method modifies LSB matching revisited rules and applies them to DIRDH.According to the experimental results,the image quality of the proposed method is better than that of Lu et al.'s method. 展开更多

Background:Foot kinematics,such as excessive eversion and malalignment of the hindfoot,are believed to be associated with running-related injuries.The maj ority of studies to date show that different foot strike patterns influence these specific foot and ankle kinematics.However,technical deficiencies in traditional motion capture approaches limit knowledge of in vivo joint kinematics with respect to rearfoot and forefoot strike patterns(RFS and FFS,respectively).This study uses a high-speed dual fluoroscopic imaging system(DFIS)to determine the effects of different foot strike patterns on 3D in vivo tibiotalar and subtalar joints kinematics.Methods:Fifteen healthy male recreational runners underwent foot computed tomography scanning for the construction of 3-dimensional models.A high-speed DFIS(100 Hz)was used to collect 6 degrees of freedom kinematics for participants’tibiotalar and subtalar joints when they adopted RFS and FFS in barefoot condition.Results:Compared with RFS,FFS exhibited greater internal rotation at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar joint.The peak internal rotation angle of the tibiotalar joint under FFS was greater than under RFS(p<0.001,Cohen’s d=0.92).RFS showed more dorsiflexion at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar joint than FFS.RFS also presented a larger anterior translation(p<0.001,Cohen’s d=1.28)in the subtalar joint at i nitial contact than FFS.Conclusion:Running with acute barefoot FFS increases the internal rotation of the tibiotalar joint in the early stance.The use of high-speed DFIS to quantify the movement of the tibiotalar and subtalar joint was critical to revealing the effects of RF S and FFS during running. 展开更多

Until now, understanding of polymer flocculation has remained restricted within the qualitative explanations of the bridge unite theory and the electricity neutralization theory, because people not only lacked the systemic knowl- edge of the polymer flocculation mechanism, the flocculation dynamic process study and the flocculation effect esti- mate, but also could not penetrate within the flocculation process microscopic field to obtain the structural character parameters such as floccule structure, the frame bridge models and so on. In this paper, not only coal slurry flocculation images were photographed by using the transmission electron microscope, but also the basic theory of the mathematical morphology was applied to the coal slurry flocculation image processing. The steps and methods of the mathematical morphology were expounded in detail. The micro-structural parameters such as the flocculate size and the bridge length were obtained, which combined the microscopic flocculation grain configuration observations with the macroscopic flocculation effect, so as to get the maximum amount of veracious information to describe and explain the whole floc- culation course by rule and line. On this basis, not only the flocculation models of polymers in the coal slurry are sug- gested, but the quantitative study on flocculation mechanism has been achieved. 展开更多

An experimental method for a single layer is extended to determine the elastic properties of nanostructured W/C u multilayers on a flexible substrate.The strain difference between the W/Cu-polyimide-W/Cu composite and the uncoated substrate,measured by dual digital image correlation,allows us to extract the effective Young's modulus of W/Cu multilayers(20 periods)equaling 216±13 GPa.Finite element method is then performed,which agrees well with the experiment and classical rule of mixture(ROM)theory demonstrating that the extension to multilayers is effective and reliable.The numerical analysis also interestingly shows that the strain difference is linearly related to the thickness ratio(W/Cu),periods and sublayer thickness,respectively.In contrast to ROM theory,this approach could potentially be used for the evaluation of properties and design of emerging/unknown functional multilayers,whether or not they are crystalline or amorphous. 展开更多
