With rising demand for clean energy,global focus turns to finding ideal sites for large-scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)in depleted petroleum reservoirs.A thorough preliminary reservoir evaluation before hydrog...With rising demand for clean energy,global focus turns to finding ideal sites for large-scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)in depleted petroleum reservoirs.A thorough preliminary reservoir evaluation before hydrogen(H_(2))injection is crucial for UHS success and safety.Recent criteria for UHS often emphasize economics and chemistry,neglecting key reservoir attributes.This study introduces a comprehensive framework for the reservoir-scale preliminary assessment,specifically tailored for long-term H_(2) storage within depleted gas reservoirs.The evaluation criteria encompass critical components,including reservoir geometry,petrophysical properties,tectonics,and formation fluids.To illustrate the practical application of this approach,we assess the Barnett shale play reservoir parameters.The assessment unfolds through three key stages:(1)A systematic evaluation of the reservoir's properties against our comprehensive screening criteria determines its suitability for H_(2) storage.(2)Using both homogeneous and multilayered gas reservoir models,we explore the feasibility and efficiency of H_(2) storage.This phase involves an in-depth examination of reservoir behavior during the injection stage.(3)To enhance understanding of UHS performance,sensitivity analyses investigate the impact of varying reservoir dimensions and injection/production pressures.The findings reveal the following:(a)Despite potential challenges associated with reservoir compaction and aquifer support,the reservoir exhibits substantial promise as an H_(2) storage site.(b)Notably,a pronounced increase in reservoir pressure manifests during the injection stage,particularly in homogeneous reservoirs.(c)Furthermore,optimizing injection-extraction cycle efficiency can be achieved by augmenting reservoir dimensions while maintaining a consistent thickness.To ensure a smooth transition to implementation,further comprehensive investigations are advised,including experimental and numerical studies to address injectivity concerns and explore storage site development.This evaluation framework is a valuable tool for assessing the potential of depleted gas reservoirs for large-scale hydrogen storage,advancing global eco-friendly energy systems.展开更多
In order to explore the correlation of 3 different methods of evaluating the degree of skin redness,45 healthy Chinese subjects aged 18~45 were recruited to attend a human efficacy evaluation test.An emulsion product ...In order to explore the correlation of 3 different methods of evaluating the degree of skin redness,45 healthy Chinese subjects aged 18~45 were recruited to attend a human efficacy evaluation test.An emulsion product which declares soothing and repair efficacy was used each time in the morning and evening for 4 weeks.Three methods,including visual assessment,image analysis and instrument measurement,were taken to test the related indices of skin redness degree respectively.The improvement of skin redness and the correlation of 3 methods were evaluated by comparing the changes of each index before and after using the product.The results show that the face redness degree score and the image analysis a*value significantly reduce at all time points after using the sample(P<0.05),while the instrument probe a*value significantly reduce at the time point after using for 2 weeks(P<0.05).The correlation coefficient of the face redness degree score and the instrument probe a*value is more than 0.33 and less than 0.67,and the significance level is less than 0.01.Therefore,the sample has soothing and repair efficacy for improving skin redness;and the methods of visual assessment and instrument measurement present moderate positive correlation.展开更多

It is crucial to appropriately determine turbulent fluxes in numerical models.Using data collected in East Antarctica from 8 April to 26 November 2016,this study evaluates parameterization schemes for turbulent fluxes...It is crucial to appropriately determine turbulent fluxes in numerical models.Using data collected in East Antarctica from 8 April to 26 November 2016,this study evaluates parameterization schemes for turbulent fluxes over the landfast seaice surface in five numerical models.The Community Noah Land Surface Model with Multi-Parameterizations Options(Noah_mp)best replicates the turbulent momentum flux,while the Beijing Climate System Model(BCC_CSM)produces the optimum sensible and latent heat fluxes.In particular,two critical issues of parameterization schemes,stability functions and roughness lengths,are investigated.Sensitivity tests indicate that roughness lengths play a decisive role in model performance.Based on the observed turbulent fluxes,roughness lengths over the landfast sea-ice surface are calculated.The results,which can provide a basis for setting up model parameters,reveal that the dynamic roughness length(z0m)increases with the increase of frictional velocity(u*)when u*≤0.4 m s^(−1) and fluctuates around 10^(−3 )m when u*>0.4 m s^(−1);thermal roughness length(z0t)is linearly related to the temperature gradient between air and sea-ice surface(ΔT)with a relation of lg(z0t)=−0.29ΔT−3.86;and the mean water vapor roughness length(z0q)in the specific humidity gradient(Δq)range ofΔq≤−0.6 g kg^(−1) is 10^(−6) m,3.5 times smaller than that in the range ofΔq˃−0.6 g kg^(−1).展开更多

Purpose:This study examines the effects of using publication-based metrics for the initial screening in the application process for a project leader.The key questions are whether formal policy affects the allocation o...Purpose:This study examines the effects of using publication-based metrics for the initial screening in the application process for a project leader.The key questions are whether formal policy affects the allocation of funds to researchers with a better publication record and how the previous academic performance of principal investigators is related to future project results.Design/methodology/approach:We compared two competitions,before and after the policy raised the publication threshold for the principal investigators.We analyzed 9,167 papers published by 332 winners in physics and the social sciences and humanities(SSH),and 11,253 publications resulting from each funded project.Findings:We found that among physicists,even in the first period,grants tended to be allocated to prolific authors publishing in high-quality journals.In contrast,the SSH project grantees had been less prolific in publishing internationally in both periods;however,in the second period,the selection of grant recipients yielded better results regarding awarding grants to more productive authors in terms of the quantity and quality of publications.There was no evidence that this better selection of grant recipients resulted in better publication records during grant realization.Originality:This study contributes to the discussion of formal policies that rely on metrics for the evaluation of grant proposals.The Russian case shows that such policy may have a profound effect on changing the supply side of applicants,especially in disciplines that are less suitable for metric-based evaluations.In spite of the criticism given to metrics,they might be a useful additional instrument in academic systems where professional expertise is corrupted and prevents allocation of funds to prolific researchers.展开更多
In this study,we estimated the weekly Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)spherical harmonic(SH)solutions and regional mascon solutions using GRACE-based Geopotential Difference(GPD)data and investigated the...In this study,we estimated the weekly Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)spherical harmonic(SH)solutions and regional mascon solutions using GRACE-based Geopotential Difference(GPD)data and investigated their abilities in retrieving terrestrial water storage(TWS)changes over the Amazon River Basin(ARB)from January 2003 to February 2013.The performance of the weekly GPD-SH and GPDmascon solutions was evaluated by comparing them with the weekly GFZ-SH solutions,Global Land Data Assimilation Systems(GLDAS)-NOAH hydrological model outputs,and monthly GFZ-SH,GPD-SH,and CSRmascon solutions in the spatio-temporal and spectral domains.The results demonstrate that the weekly GPD-SH and GPD-mascon present good consistency with the weekly GFZ-SH solutions and GLDAS-NOAH estimates in the spatio-temporal domains,but GPD-mascon presents stronger signal amplitudes and more spatial details.The comparison of the monthly average of weekly estimates and monthly solutions demonstrates that the weekly GPD-mascon and GFZ-SH with DDK1 filtering are close to the monthly CSRmascon and GFZ-SH solutions,respectively.However,the signal amplitudes of TWS changes from GPD-SH and GFZ-SH with 650 km Gaussian filtering are smaller than the monthly solutions,and the corresponding Root Mean Square Errors between the TWS change time series from the monthly average of weekly solutions and monthly estimates are 18.12 mm(GPD-mascon),18.81 mm(GFZ-SH-DDK1),24.93 mm(GPDSH-G650km),and 33.07 mm(GFZ-SH-G650km),respectively.Additionally,the TWS change time series derived from weekly solutions present more high-frequency time-varying information than monthly solutions.Furthermore,the 300 km Gaussian filtering can improve the signal amplitudes of TWS changes from the weekly GPD-SH solutions more than those with 650 km Gaussian filtering,but the corresponding noise level is higher.The weekly GPD-SH and GPD-mascon solutions can extend the application scopes of GRACE and provide good complements to the current GRACE monthly solutions.展开更多

According to the EPG, the exception handling code that never executes is identified; the points that are the most critical to controlling exception propagation are found; and the irrational exception handling code is corrected. The results showed that this method was favorable for fuzzy synthetic evaluation when there were more than one evaluating objects. One calculation was enough for calculating every monitoring point. Mean Simpson index (MD), mean Shannon-Weaver index of genetic diversity (M1) and mean polymorphism information content (MPIC) were important evaluating parameters. The variable rate of coefficient of variation (VR) could act as an important reference parameter for evaluating the variation degree of core collection. Percentage of polymorphic loci (p) could be used as a determination parameter for the size of core collection. Mean difference percentage (MD) was a determination parameter for the reliability judgment of core collection. The effective evaluating parameters for core collection selected in the research could be used as criteria for sampling percentage in different plant germplasm populations.展开更多

The re...Using the SeaBeam technology, the morphology of seamount and its relation to the formation of cobalt-rich crust in the central Pacific Ocean were surveyed during the cruise in 2003 for marine mineral resources. The result shows that seamounts can be divided morphologically into the spire seamount and the fiat topped seamount. These two types of seamount bear great differences in their landform, lithology and cobalt-rich crust. On the upper portion of the fiat topped seamount, the fiat top and the sharp escarpments are unfavorable to the growth of crust, and, consequently, the crusts here are mostly laminar or gravelly, their thicknesses generally show great variations, and the consecutive ore body often develops in its deep water region. On the spire topped seamount, however, the fiat area is small, and its gradient is constant without large variation from the top to the bottom. This favors the growth of cobalt-rich crust and often leads to consecutive tabular ore body of medium thickness, occurring on the spire topped seamount from the shallow water region to the deep water region. The cobalt-rich crust on the spire topped seamount is much better than that on the fiat topped seamount for the crust abundance, crust coverage and number of ore-occurrences within unit area. Furthermore, the crust on the spire topped seamount is rich in cobalt, nickel, manganese elements of high economic value. Because the crust with high quality ore often occurs in the shallow water region on the spire topped seamount, it can be mined and use more easily in the future.展开更多

People used to evaluate the lifetime of vehicular fuel cells by laboratory tests or road tests that usually take thousands hours even years. In order to achieve a rapid evaluation technique and to seek lifetime extension methods, a lifetime calculation formation was drawn out in consideration of the vehicle driving cycle and the working condition factors. Bench experiments were individually carried out on two fuel-cell stacks same as ones applied on vehicle, and the performance decay rates of the two stacks were obtained under four operation conditions of changing load cycle, start-stop cycle, idling and heavy load. As a result, the predicted lifetimes rather conform to the actual running status in road test. And the research on the fuel cell performance decay rates under different load conditions was also done. Consequently, an unexpected finding was discovered that operating under micro-current has an effect on recovering fuel cell performance. The vehicle fuel cell rapid assessment method only requires four laboratory tests of driving cycle, load cycle, idle operating conditions and heavy load conditions, and the whole process merely lasts less than 250 h. These experimental results can be used to predict the vehicular fuel cell lifetimes on various utility models or driving cycles, therefore to optimize the application model to prolong the fuel cell lifetime. Actually in the experiment, it has already been proved successfully that the fuel cell lifetime could be extended from 1 100 h to 2 600 h by optimizing operating mode. The quick evaluation method is helpful to develop extended life fuel cell and to deplete fuel cell for a longer time.展开更多

We investigated the significance of procalcitonin(PCT) and C-reactive protein(CRP) in evaluating the severity of pulmonary infection in SLE patients. This retrospective study contained a total of 117 patients(107 women and 10 men) with SLE from January 2010 to June 2011. Serum levels of PCT and CRP were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The severity of pulmonary bacterial infection(PBI) was evaluated using the pneumonia severity index(PSI). SLE patients with PBI, particularly those with bacterial isolates, had significantly higher levels of serum PCT and CRP than those without PBI. Serum PCT and CRP were not associated with SLE disease activity, but positively with the values of PSI in active SLE patients with PBI. Serum levels of PCT and CRP may be additional biomarkers in evaluating the severity of PBI in lupus patients.展开更多

The results also can be used to evaluate the efficiency of the existing test generation algorithms. The histopathological hallmark of PD is the reduction of dopaminergic cells in the substantia nigra pars compacta, causing dopamine deficiency in spe- cific nuclei of the basal ganglia such as the dorsal striatum (Fearnley and Lees, 1991; Planetta et al., 2014). Firstly, the signals of welding current and welding voltage, as information source, were synchronously collected. Input power and dynamic resistance were selected as monitoring waveforms. Eight characteristic parameters relating to weld quality were extracted from the monitoring waveforms. Secondly, tensile-shear strength of the spot-welded joint was employed as evaluating target of weld quality. Through correlation analysis between every two parameters of characteristic vector, five characteristic parameters were reasonably selected to found a mapping model of weld quality estimation. At last, the model was realized by means of the algorithms of Radial Basic Function neural network and sample matrixes. The results showed validations by a satisfaction in evaluating weld quality of mild steel joint on-line in spot welding process.展开更多

文摘It is crucial to appropriately determine turbulent fluxes in numerical models.Using data collected in East Antarctica from 8 April to 26 November 2016,this study evaluates parameterization schemes for turbulent fluxes over the landfast seaice surface in five numerical models.The Community Noah Land Surface Model with Multi-Parameterizations Options(Noah_mp)best replicates the turbulent momentum flux,while the Beijing Climate System Model(BCC_CSM)produces the optimum sensible and latent heat fluxes.In particular,two critical issues of parameterization schemes,stability functions and roughness lengths,are investigated.Sensitivity tests indicate that roughness lengths play a decisive role in model performance.Based on the observed turbulent fluxes,roughness lengths over the landfast sea-ice surface are calculated.The results,which can provide a basis for setting up model parameters,reveal that the dynamic roughness length(z0m)increases with the increase of frictional velocity(u*)when u*≤0.4 m s^(−1) and fluctuates around 10^(−3 )m when u*>0.4 m s^(−1);thermal roughness length(z0t)is linearly related to the temperature gradient between air and sea-ice surface(ΔT)with a relation of lg(z0t)=−0.29ΔT−3.86;and the mean water vapor roughness length(z0q)in the specific humidity gradient(Δq)range ofΔq≤−0.6 g kg^(−1) is 10^(−6) m,3.5 times smaller than that in the range ofΔq˃−0.6 g kg^(−1).

文摘In this study,the competitive failure mechanism of bolt loosening and fatigue is elucidated via competitive failure tests on bolts under composite excitation.Based on the competitive failure mechanism,the mode prediction model and“load ratio-life prediction curve”(ξ-N curve)of the bolt competitive failure are established.Given the poor correlation of theξ-N curve,an evaluation model of the bolt competitive failure life is proposed based on Miner’s linear damage accumulation theory.Based on the force analysis of the thread surface and simulation of the bolt connection under composite excitation,a theoretical equation of the bolt competitive failure life is established to validate the model for evaluating the bolt competitive failure life.The results reveal that the proposed model can accurately predict the competitive failure life of bolts under composite excitation,and thereby,it can provide guidance to engineering applications.

文摘Purpose:This study examines the effects of using publication-based metrics for the initial screening in the application process for a project leader.The key questions are whether formal policy affects the allocation of funds to researchers with a better publication record and how the previous academic performance of principal investigators is related to future project results.Design/methodology/approach:We compared two competitions,before and after the policy raised the publication threshold for the principal investigators.We analyzed 9,167 papers published by 332 winners in physics and the social sciences and humanities(SSH),and 11,253 publications resulting from each funded project.Findings:We found that among physicists,even in the first period,grants tended to be allocated to prolific authors publishing in high-quality journals.In contrast,the SSH project grantees had been less prolific in publishing internationally in both periods;however,in the second period,the selection of grant recipients yielded better results regarding awarding grants to more productive authors in terms of the quantity and quality of publications.There was no evidence that this better selection of grant recipients resulted in better publication records during grant realization.Originality:This study contributes to the discussion of formal policies that rely on metrics for the evaluation of grant proposals.The Russian case shows that such policy may have a profound effect on changing the supply side of applicants,especially in disciplines that are less suitable for metric-based evaluations.In spite of the criticism given to metrics,they might be a useful additional instrument in academic systems where professional expertise is corrupted and prevents allocation of funds to prolific researchers.

文摘In this study,we estimated the weekly Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)spherical harmonic(SH)solutions and regional mascon solutions using GRACE-based Geopotential Difference(GPD)data and investigated their abilities in retrieving terrestrial water storage(TWS)changes over the Amazon River Basin(ARB)from January 2003 to February 2013.The performance of the weekly GPD-SH and GPDmascon solutions was evaluated by comparing them with the weekly GFZ-SH solutions,Global Land Data Assimilation Systems(GLDAS)-NOAH hydrological model outputs,and monthly GFZ-SH,GPD-SH,and CSRmascon solutions in the spatio-temporal and spectral domains.The results demonstrate that the weekly GPD-SH and GPD-mascon present good consistency with the weekly GFZ-SH solutions and GLDAS-NOAH estimates in the spatio-temporal domains,but GPD-mascon presents stronger signal amplitudes and more spatial details.The comparison of the monthly average of weekly estimates and monthly solutions demonstrates that the weekly GPD-mascon and GFZ-SH with DDK1 filtering are close to the monthly CSRmascon and GFZ-SH solutions,respectively.However,the signal amplitudes of TWS changes from GPD-SH and GFZ-SH with 650 km Gaussian filtering are smaller than the monthly solutions,and the corresponding Root Mean Square Errors between the TWS change time series from the monthly average of weekly solutions and monthly estimates are 18.12 mm(GPD-mascon),18.81 mm(GFZ-SH-DDK1),24.93 mm(GPDSH-G650km),and 33.07 mm(GFZ-SH-G650km),respectively.Additionally,the TWS change time series derived from weekly solutions present more high-frequency time-varying information than monthly solutions.Furthermore,the 300 km Gaussian filtering can improve the signal amplitudes of TWS changes from the weekly GPD-SH solutions more than those with 650 km Gaussian filtering,but the corresponding noise level is higher.The weekly GPD-SH and GPD-mascon solutions can extend the application scopes of GRACE and provide good complements to the current GRACE monthly solutions.

文摘To solve the problems that the exception handling code is hard to test and maintain and that it affects the robustness and reliability of software, a method for evaluating the exception handling of programs is presented. The exception propagation graph (EPG) that describes the large programs with exception handling constructs is proposed by simplifying the control flow graph and it is applied to a case to verify its validity. According to the EPG, the exception handling code that never executes is identified; the points that are the most critical to controlling exception propagation are found; and the irrational exception handling code is corrected. The constructing algorithm for the EPG is given; thus, this provides a basis for automatically constructing the EPG and automatically correcting the irrational exception handling code.

文摘Considering the difficulty of fuzzy synthetic evaluation method in calculation of the multiple factors and ignorance of the relationship among evaluating objects, a new weight evaluation process using entropy method was introduced. This improved method for determination of weight of the evaluating indicators was applied in water quality assessment of the Three Gorges reservoir area. The results showed that this method was favorable for fuzzy synthetic evaluation when there were more than one evaluating objects. One calculation was enough for calculating every monitoring point. Compared with the original evaluation method, the method predigested the fuzzy synthetic evaluation process greatly and the evaluation results are more reasonable.

文摘Eleven evaluating parameters for rice core collection were assessed based on genotypic values and molecular marke' information. Monte Carlo simulation combined with mixed linear model was used to eliminate the interference from environment in order to draw more reliable results. The coincidence rate of range (CR) was the optimal parameter. Mean Simpson index (MD), mean Shannon-Weaver index of genetic diversity (M1) and mean polymorphism information content (MPIC) were important evaluating parameters. The variable rate of coefficient of variation (VR) could act as an important reference parameter for evaluating the variation degree of core collection. Percentage of polymorphic loci (p) could be used as a determination parameter for the size of core collection. Mean difference percentage (MD) was a determination parameter for the reliability judgment of core collection. The effective evaluating parameters for core collection selected in the research could be used as criteria for sampling percentage in different plant germplasm populations.
文摘Using the SeaBeam technology, the morphology of seamount and its relation to the formation of cobalt-rich crust in the central Pacific Ocean were surveyed during the cruise in 2003 for marine mineral resources. The result shows that seamounts can be divided morphologically into the spire seamount and the fiat topped seamount. These two types of seamount bear great differences in their landform, lithology and cobalt-rich crust. On the upper portion of the fiat topped seamount, the fiat top and the sharp escarpments are unfavorable to the growth of crust, and, consequently, the crusts here are mostly laminar or gravelly, their thicknesses generally show great variations, and the consecutive ore body often develops in its deep water region. On the spire topped seamount, however, the fiat area is small, and its gradient is constant without large variation from the top to the bottom. This favors the growth of cobalt-rich crust and often leads to consecutive tabular ore body of medium thickness, occurring on the spire topped seamount from the shallow water region to the deep water region. The cobalt-rich crust on the spire topped seamount is much better than that on the fiat topped seamount for the crust abundance, crust coverage and number of ore-occurrences within unit area. Furthermore, the crust on the spire topped seamount is rich in cobalt, nickel, manganese elements of high economic value. Because the crust with high quality ore often occurs in the shallow water region on the spire topped seamount, it can be mined and use more easily in the future.

文摘Owing to overcoming the characteristics that there are many economic and technical indexes which are fuzzy and incompatibility to each other in evaluating investment project,a new method is proposed.The method is based on the matter-element analysis and combined with the concepts of fuzzy mathematics,which is called the method of fuzzy matter-element analysis.It constructs the compound fuzzy matter element with the investment projects,evaluation factors and their fuzzy value.Through establishing the best subjection degree (fuzzy value),complex fuzzy matter element of relational coefficient and weight aggregation of fuzzy matter-element model,the writer achieves on optimum order of the investment projects according to the calculated relational degree and finds the best project.In this paper,the calculation of weight adopts the analytical hierarchy process method(AHP).Through the actual example,it shows that the model is simple and its calculation is reliable.It is very significant for the engineering evaluated bid and investment decision.

文摘Lifetime isone of the important indicators of automotive proton exchange membrane fuel cells. People used to evaluate the lifetime of vehicular fuel cells by laboratory tests or road tests that usually take thousands hours even years. In order to achieve a rapid evaluation technique and to seek lifetime extension methods, a lifetime calculation formation was drawn out in consideration of the vehicle driving cycle and the working condition factors. Bench experiments were individually carried out on two fuel-cell stacks same as ones applied on vehicle, and the performance decay rates of the two stacks were obtained under four operation conditions of changing load cycle, start-stop cycle, idling and heavy load. As a result, the predicted lifetimes rather conform to the actual running status in road test. And the research on the fuel cell performance decay rates under different load conditions was also done. Consequently, an unexpected finding was discovered that operating under micro-current has an effect on recovering fuel cell performance. The vehicle fuel cell rapid assessment method only requires four laboratory tests of driving cycle, load cycle, idle operating conditions and heavy load conditions, and the whole process merely lasts less than 250 h. These experimental results can be used to predict the vehicular fuel cell lifetimes on various utility models or driving cycles, therefore to optimize the application model to prolong the fuel cell lifetime. Actually in the experiment, it has already been proved successfully that the fuel cell lifetime could be extended from 1 100 h to 2 600 h by optimizing operating mode. The quick evaluation method is helpful to develop extended life fuel cell and to deplete fuel cell for a longer time.

文摘The severity of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) patients with pulmonary bacterial infection varies widely. We investigated the significance of procalcitonin(PCT) and C-reactive protein(CRP) in evaluating the severity of pulmonary infection in SLE patients. This retrospective study contained a total of 117 patients(107 women and 10 men) with SLE from January 2010 to June 2011. Serum levels of PCT and CRP were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The severity of pulmonary bacterial infection(PBI) was evaluated using the pneumonia severity index(PSI). SLE patients with PBI, particularly those with bacterial isolates, had significantly higher levels of serum PCT and CRP than those without PBI. Serum PCT and CRP were not associated with SLE disease activity, but positively with the values of PSI in active SLE patients with PBI. Serum levels of PCT and CRP may be additional biomarkers in evaluating the severity of PBI in lupus patients.

文摘To generate a test set for a given circuit (including both combinational and sequential circuits), choice of an algorithm within a number of existing test generation algorithms to apply is bound to vary from circuit to circuit. In this paper, the genetic algorithms are used to construct the models of existing test generation algorithms in making such choice more easily. Therefore, we may forecast the testability parameters of a circuit before using the real test generation algorithm. The results also can be used to evaluate the efficiency of the existing test generation algorithms. Experimental results are given to convince the readers of the truth and the usefulness of this approach.
文摘Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder affecting approximately 10 million people world- wide (Planetta et al., 2014; Zigmond and Smeyne, 2014). The principal clinical features of PD are bradykinesia, rigidity, tremor at rest and postural instability (Planetta et al., 2014). It is known that both PD itself and the use of anti-parkinson drugs are associated with several non-motor symptoms such as cognitive impairment, neuropsychiatric disturbances and sleep, autonomic, and sensory disorders (Park and Stacy, 2009; Foster et al., 2014). The histopathological hallmark of PD is the reduction of dopaminergic cells in the substantia nigra pars compacta, causing dopamine deficiency in spe- cific nuclei of the basal ganglia such as the dorsal striatum (Fearnley and Lees, 1991; Planetta et al., 2014). The disrup- tion of the dopaminergic system has long been regarded as the major cause of PD; however, it has been shown that a widespread involvement of several non-dopaminergic path- ways also contribute to the clinical manifestations of PD (Park et al., 2014).

文摘Acute hemorrhagic anemia can decrease blood flow and oxygen supply to brain, and affect its physiological function. While detecting changes in brain function in patients with acute hemorrhagic anemia is helpful for preventing neurological complications and evaluating therapeutic effects, clinical changes in the nervous systems of these patients have not received much attention. In part, this is because current techniques can only indirectly detect changes in brain function following onset of anemia, which leads to lags between real changes in brain function and their detection.

文摘A method was developed to realize quality evaluation on every weld-spot in resistance spot welding based on information processing of artificial intelligent. Firstly, the signals of welding current and welding voltage, as information source, were synchronously collected. Input power and dynamic resistance were selected as monitoring waveforms. Eight characteristic parameters relating to weld quality were extracted from the monitoring waveforms. Secondly, tensile-shear strength of the spot-welded joint was employed as evaluating target of weld quality. Through correlation analysis between every two parameters of characteristic vector, five characteristic parameters were reasonably selected to found a mapping model of weld quality estimation. At last, the model was realized by means of the algorithms of Radial Basic Function neural network and sample matrixes. The results showed validations by a satisfaction in evaluating weld quality of mild steel joint on-line in spot welding process.
