Through the analysis of the current research, it is found that there are overlaps in the methods used by scholars. The Langmuir equation is frequently applied to model the adsorption isotherms of MIPs, providing critical insight into the capacity and affinity of the binding sites. Infrared Spectroscopy (IR) plays a crucial role in identifying the functional groups involved in the imprinting process and confirming the successful formation of specific binding sites. UV-visible spectrophotometry is employed to monitor the absorption characteristics of the polymers, offering data on the interactions between the template molecules and the polymer matrix. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) provides detailed visualization of the internal structure of MIPs at the nanoscale, revealing the morphology and size of the imprinted cavities. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) assesses the thermal stability and composition of the polymers, identifying decomposition patterns that are indicative of the material’s robustness under different conditions. Finally, the Laser Particle Size Analyzer is used to measure the size distribution of the polymer particles, which is critical for determining the uniformity and efficiency of the imprinting process. The six characterization methods discussed in this paper provide a comprehensive understanding of MIP, and it is hoped that in the future, more optimized design solutions will emerge and their applications in various fields will be enhanced.展开更多

The chosen analogues were 4-(acetymethylamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-butanol, 4- (methylamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol, and 1-(3-pyridyl)-1,4,-butanediol. The molecular recognition characteristics of the produced polymers were evaluated by X-ray photoelec- tron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Interactions between NNAL and methacrylic acid should be cooperative hydrogen bonds while the ni- trogen atom of the pyridine ring and the oxygen atom of the nitroso group in NNAL are two of the hydrogen-bond acceptors. It was further demonstrated that DMIP synthesized by 4-(acetymethylamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-butanol had the best binding performance by XPS and FT-IR. Then dummy molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction (DMISPE) was developed for the determination of the analyte using the hit polymer as the sorbing material. Under optimal conditions, the recovery of NNAL dissolved in standard solution reached 93%. And the investigated polymer exhibited much higher binding of NNAL when nicotine was acted as the competitive molecule. Also the proposed method was applied to the measurement of NNAL spiked in blank urine samples with recoveries ranging from 87.2% to 101.2%.展开更多

Photoluminescence emission of CdS was quenched when rebinding of the template. The quenching of photoluminescence emissions is presumably due to the fluorescence resonance energy transfer between quantum dots and BSA template molecules. The adsorption is compiled with Langmuir isotherm, and chemical adsorption is the rate-controlling step. The maximum adsorption capacity could reach 226.0 mg/g, which is 142.4 mg/g larger than that of undoped BSA MIP. However, the pluripotency of pES cells and the expression profiles of paternally expressed imprinted genes have not been fully explored. In this study, three mouse pES cell lines were established and the differentiation potential of these cells in extended culture was evaluated. The undifferentiated cells had a normal karyotype and homozygous genome, and expressed ES-cell-specific molecular markers. The cells remained undifferentiated after more than 50 passages and exhibited pluripotent differentiation capacity. All three lines of the established ES cells produced teratomas; two lines of ES cells produced chimeras and germline transmission. Furthermore, activation of the paternally expressed imprinted genes Snrpn, U2afl-rsl, Peg3, Impact, Zfp127, Dlkl and Mest in these cells was detected. Some paternally expressed imprinted genes were found to be expressed in the blastocyst stage of parthenogenetically activated embryos in vitro and their expression level increased with extended pES cell culture. Furthermore, our data show that the activation of these paternally expressed imprinted genes in pES cells was associated with a change in the methylation of the related differentially methylated regions. These findings provide direct evidence for the pluripotency of pES cells and demonstrate the association between the DNA methylation pattern and the activa- tion of paternally expressed imprinted genes in pES cells. Thus, the established ES cell lines provide a valuable model for studying epigenetic regulation in mammalian development.展开更多

DNA methylation, EZH2 and histone modifications also ensure the parental-specific monoallelic expression of at least 62 imprinted genes. Although it is therefore tempting to speculate that epigenetic dysregulation may extend to imprinted genes, expression changes in cancerous prostates are only well documented for insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2). A literature and database survey on imprinted genes in prostate cancer suggests that the expression of most imprinted genes remains unchanged despite global disturbances in epigenetic mechanisms. Instead, selective genetic and epigenetic changes appear to lead to the inactivation of a sub-network of imprinted genes, which might function in the prostate to limit cell growth induced via the PI3K/Akt pathway, modulate androgen responses and regulate differentiation. Whereas dysregulation of IGF2 may constitute an early change in prostate carcinogenesis, inactivation of this imprinted gene network is rather associated with cancer progression.展开更多

The physical and morphological characteristics of the polymers were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), elemental analysis and nitrogen adsorption-desorption test. The obtained results showed that the SMIPs displayed great adsorption capacity (13.5 lag/mg), high recognition ability (the imprinted factor is 3.2) and good binding kinetics for ampicillin sodium. Finally, as solid phase extraction adsorbents, the SMIPs coupled with HPLC method were validated and applied for the enrichment, purification and determination of anapicillin sodium in real milk and blood samples. The averages of spiked accuracy ranged from 92.1% to 107.6%. The relative standard deviations of intra- and inter-day precisions were less than 4.6%. The MIP was developed on the silica-coated UCNPs using N-(1-hydroxy-2-naphthoyl amido)-(L)-phenylalanine (HNA-Phe) as the alternative template. The final composite combined the advantages of the high selectivity of MIP with the high fluorescence intensity of UCNPs which was selective and sensitive to OTA. Under the optimal condition, the fluorescence intensity of UCNPs@SiO2@MIP decreases linearly when the concentration of OTA increases from 0.05 to 1.0 mg/L. The detection limit of OTA with the method was 0.031 mg/L. At three spiked concentration levels (50, 100 and 200 μg/kg), the recovery ranges of OTA in corn, rice and feed are 88.0%–91.6%, 80.2%–91.6% and 89.2%–90.4%, respectively.展开更多

The effects of interaction on the adsorption capacity of the molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP) and non-imprinted polymer(NIP) were investigated. A comparison of the adsorption capacity for MIP and NIP indicated that the NIP had the lowest adsorption capacity. The curcuminoid-imprinted polymer(Cur-MIP) was synthesized from 0.0237 mmol of styrene, 47.0 g of acetonitrile, 1.0238 mmol of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 0.0325 mmol of curcuminoids, and 0.2480 mmol of benzoyl peroxide. A high-performance liquid chromatography method with fluorescence detection was developed and validated for various chromatographic conditions for the determination of the curcuminoids in turmeric samples. The sample solution was separated using the Cur-MIP via solid-phase extraction and analyzed on a Brownlee analytical C_(18) column(150 mm ×6 mm, 5 mm) using an isocratic elution consisting of acetonitrile and 0.1%trichloroacetic acid(40:60, v/v). The flow rate was maintained at 1.5 m L/min. The fluorescence detector was set to monitor at λex? 426 nm and λem? 539 nm. The quantification limit values were found to be16.66, 66.66, and 33.33 mg/L for curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin, respectively. Thus, we concluded that the Cur-MIP and high-performance liquid chromatographic-fluorescence method could be applied to selective extraction and could be used as a rapid tool for the determination of curcuminoids in medicinal herbal extracts.展开更多

On historical grounds, these two determinants have been largely studied independently of each other. Recent evidence suggests, however, that NSCs can reset select genomic imprints to prevent precocious depletion of the stem cell reservoir. Moreover, imprinted genes like the transcriptional regulator Zac1 can fine tune neuronal vs astroglial differentiation of NSCs. Zac1 binds in a sequence-specific manner to pro-neuronal and imprinted genes to confer transcriptional regulation and furthermore coregulates members of the p53-family in NSCs. At the genome scale, Zac1 is a central hub of an imprinted gene network comprising genes with animportant role for NSC quiescence, proliferation and differentiation. Overall, transcriptional, epigenomic, and genomic mechanisms seem to coordinate the functional relationships of NSCs and imprinted genes from development to maturation, and possibly aging.展开更多

文摘Epigenetic dysregulation comprising DNA hypermethylation and hypomethylation, enhancer of zeste homologue 2 (EZH2) overexpression and altered patterns of histone modifications is associated with the progression of prostate cancer. Whereas dysregulation of IGF2 may constitute an early change in prostate carcinogenesis, inactivation of this imprinted gene network is rather associated with cancer progression.
文摘Molecularly imprinted polymer, exhibiting considerable enantioselectivity for L-mandelic acid, was prepared using metal coordination-chelation interaction. By evaluating the recognition characteristics in the chromatographic mode, the recognition interactions were proposed: specific and nonspecific metal coordination-chelation interaction and hydrophobic interaction were responsible for substrate binding on metal-complexing imprinted polymer; while the selective recognition only came from specific metal coordination-chelation interaction and specific hydrophobic interaction.

文摘Surface molecularly imprinted polymers (SMIPs) for selective adsorption of ampicillin sodium were synthesized using surface molecular imprinting technique with silica gel as a support. This study provides a new and promising method for enriching, extracting and determining ampicillin sodium in complex biological samples.

文摘A novel molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) based on upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) was successfully synthesized for determination of Ochratoxin A (OTA). At three spiked concentration levels (50, 100 and 200 μg/kg), the recovery ranges of OTA in corn, rice and feed are 88.0%–91.6%, 80.2%–91.6% and 89.2%–90.4%, respectively.
文摘A molecular imprinting polymer technique was successfully applied to precipitation polymerization by using styrene as a functional monomer, curcuminoids as templates, acetonitrile as a porogenic solvent, benzoyl peroxide as the initiator, and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinker. Thus, we concluded that the Cur-MIP and high-performance liquid chromatographic-fluorescence method could be applied to selective extraction and could be used as a rapid tool for the determination of curcuminoids in medicinal herbal extracts.
文摘High selective molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for tetracycline have been prepared by precipitation polymerization. Effects of monomer and solvent, the ratio of monomer and template and the characterization of the polymer were investigated by frontal chromatography and selectivity experiment. The results clearly indicated that the polymer, which had the highest molecular recognition abilities for tetracycline antibiotics, had been received.

文摘Fluorescent nanoparticles have good chemical stability and photostability, controllable optical properties and larger stokes shift. In light of their designability and functionability, the fluorescent nanoparticles are widely used as the fluorescent probes for diverse applications. To enhance the sensitivity and selectivity, the combination of the fluorescent nanoparticles with the molecularly imprinted polymer,i.e.molecularly imprinted fluorescent nanoparticles(MIFN),was an effective way.The sensor based on MIFN(the MIFN sensor)could be more compatible with the complex sample matrix, which was especially widely adopted in medical and biological analysis. In this mini-review,the construction method, detective mechanism and types of MIFN sensors are elaborated. The current applications of MIFN sensors in pharmaceutical analysis, including pesticides/herbicide,veterinary drugs/drugs residues and human related proteins, are highlighted based on the literature in the recent three years. Finally, the research prospect and development trend of the MIFN sensor are forecasted.
文摘Neural stem cells(NSCs) and imprinted genes play an important role in brain development. Overall, transcriptional, epigenomic, and genomic mechanisms seem to coordinate the functional relationships of NSCs and imprinted genes from development to maturation, and possibly aging.

文摘Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were prepared by the bulk polymerization using crystal violet as the template molecule, and the methacrylic acid and ethylene glycol dimetheacrylate as functional monomer and cross-linker, respectively. Sys- tematic investigations of synthetic conditions were conducted. The surface morphology and recognition mechanism of the obtained polymers were studied using scanning electron microscope and spectrophotometric analysis. MIPs showed high atTmity to template molecule and were successfully applied as special solid-phase extraction sorbent for selective extraction of crystal violet from natural seawater. An off-line molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction (MISPE) method followed by high-performance liquid chroma- tography with diodearray detection for the analysis of crystal violet was also established. MISPE columns have good recoveries for crystal violet standard solutions and good linearity was obtained over the concentration range of 0-200 ~tg L-1 (R2 〉 0.99). Finally, two natural seawater samples were investigated. The recoveries of spiked seawater on the MISPE columns were from 44.47% to 62.34%, the relative standard deviation (n=3) being in the range of 2.89%-5.96%.

文摘Using nickel(II) acetate.-2,2'-dipyridyl complex as template and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (NVP) as coordinate functional monomer,.a new kind of metal-compiexing template molecularly impnnted polymer (MIP) was prepared..The results of equilibri.um binding experiments in. aqueous solution showed that the MIP had higher'binding capacity for nickel( II )-2,2'-dipyridyl than the non-imprinted polymer with the same chemical composition. Theinfluences of metal ions and pHof solution on the recognition performance of MIP were investigated. The bindingcharacteristics of MIP were evaluated by the Scatchard analysis with one-site and two-site binding equations, respectively. The results on substrate selectivity of imprinted polymer revealed that MIP had better binding affinityfor template among thetested compounds.
