In this paper, a local differential quadrature (LDQ) method was developed by using irregular distributed nodes, where any spatial derivative at a nodal point is approximated by a linear weighted sum of the functional values of nodes in the local physical domain. The weighting coefficients in the new approach are determined by the quadrature rule with the aid of nodal interpolation. Since the proposed method directly approximates the derivative, it can be consistently well applied to linear and nonlinear problems and the mesh-free feature is still kept. Seismic data interpolation,especially irregularly sampled data interpolation,is a critical task for seismic processing and subsequent interpretation.Recently,with the development of machine learning and deep learning,...Seismic data interpolation,especially irregularly sampled data interpolation,is a critical task for seismic processing and subsequent interpretation.Recently,with the development of machine learning and deep learning,convolutional neural networks(CNNs)are applied for interpolating irregularly sampled seismic data.CNN based approaches can address the apparent defects of traditional interpolation methods,such as the low computational efficiency and the difficulty on parameters selection.However,current CNN based methods only consider the temporal and spatial features of irregularly sampled seismic data,which fail to consider the frequency features of seismic data,i.e.,the multi-scale features.To overcome these drawbacks,we propose a wavelet-based convolutional block attention deep learning(W-CBADL)network for irregularly sampled seismic data reconstruction.We firstly introduce the discrete wavelet transform(DWT)and the inverse wavelet transform(IWT)to the commonly used U-Net by considering the multi-scale features of irregularly sampled seismic data.Moreover,we propose to adopt the convolutional block attention module(CBAM)to precisely restore sampled seismic traces,which could apply the attention to both channel and spatial dimensions.Finally,we adopt the proposed W-CBADL model to synthetic and pre-stack field data to evaluate its validity and effectiveness.The results demonstrate that the proposed W-CBADL model could reconstruct irregularly sampled seismic data more effectively and more efficiently than the state-of-the-art contrastive CNN based models.展开更多

It is difficult to obtain the value of this coefficient because of the irregular shape of maize particles. This paper describes an approach that combines the discrete-element method (DEM) and a physical test to determine the coefficient of rolling friction of irregularly shaped maize particles. A novel test platform was used to obtain the maize particle's coefficient of restitution and the coefficient of static friction. EDEM software (DEM- Solutions, United Kingdom) was used to simulate the accumulation of maize particles on particles and on a zincified plate. The golden-section method was used to determine the range of the maize particle's coefficient of roiling friction. A single-factor test was used to determine the relationship between the maize particle's coefficient of rolling friction and their angle of repose. The results obtained from the EDEM simulation were compared with physical test results to determine the intergranular coefficient of rolling friction and the coefficient of roiling friction between maize particles and the zincified plate. Our study demonstrates that the angle of repose increases linearly with the coefficient of rolling friction of maize particles. The effect of the coefficient of rolling friction on the particle movement is studied. The physical verification test indicates that the obtained rolling friction of the maize particles is accurate. The findings of this paper provide a theoretical basis for maize-processing machine design and a discrete-element studv of the motion of maize particles inside such machines.展开更多
The coefficient of rolling friction is a foundation parameter for conducting particles simulation,however,which of irregularly shaped maize seeds is difficult to measure.Furthermore,the coefficient of rolling friction...The coefficient of rolling friction is a foundation parameter for conducting particles simulation,however,which of irregularly shaped maize seeds is difficult to measure.Furthermore,the coefficient of rolling friction between the simulation particles and the actual seeds is inconsistent due to the shaped difference of model and different position of gravity center.This paper use two methods to determinate the coefficient of rolling friction based on discrete element method(DEM)and physical experiments.Three types of maize models from five different shaped maize samples(including horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape,spherical shape,oblate shape,irregular shape)were developed with the help of slice modeling and 3D modeling technology.Aluminum cylinder container is used to arrange the simulation experiments of angle of repose with taking the coefficient of rolling friction as independent variables and the simulation angle of repose as target values.After predicting detailed the coefficient of rolling friction(including horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape,spherical shape,between horse-tooth shape and spherical cone shape,between horse-tooth shape and spherical shape,between spherical shape and spherical cone shape maize models),and forecasting a unified the coefficient of rolling friction among horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape and spherical shape maize models,two types of materials(aluminum cylinder container and organic glass container)were used to validate the difference the angle of repose between the simulation maize models and actual maize seeds.Results show the relative error of the angle of repose between the maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the detailed method and the actual maize seeds is 0.22%,0.33%in aluminum cylinder,organic glass container,respectively.The relative error of the angle of repose between the simulation maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the united method and actual maize seeds is 2.47%,2.97%in aluminum cylinder,organic glass container,respectively.Although the difference of the angle of repose between two method is smaller,the detailed method is better.Moreover,From the accumulation process of the angle of repose we found that the difference on the contacts number between maize models and bottom plate,the change curve of the rotational kinetic energy,the potential energy of maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the detailed and the united method are evidently.We can choose a better method to predict the coefficient of rolling friction of maize seeds according to the application situation and investigation objective of irregular maize seeds.The results can provide a theoretical basis for designing and optimizing the structure of the seed-metering machine with DEM.展开更多
Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)limits.However,the ...Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)limits.However,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device performances.In this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK crystals.In addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain boundaries.Meanwhile,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing recombination.As a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our knowledge.This validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.展开更多
Nanoplates have been widely used as elementary components for ultrasensitive and ultrafine resolution applications in the field of nano-electro-mechanical systems because of their potentially remarkable mechanical pro...Nanoplates have been widely used as elementary components for ultrasensitive and ultrafine resolution applications in the field of nano-electro-mechanical systems because of their potentially remarkable mechanical properties.The accurate analysis of their mechanical behavior is currently of particular interest in the function design and reliability analysis of nano-scaled devices.To examine the size-dependent bending and vibration behavior of nanoplates with curvilinear and irregular shapes,a new p-version curved C^(1)finite element is formulated in the framework of the nonlocal Kirchhoff plate model.This newly developed element not only enables an accurate geometry representation and easy mesh generation of curvilinear domains but also overcomes the difficulty of imposing C^(1)conformity required by the nonlocal Kirchhoff plate model,particularly on the curvilinear inter-element boundaries.Numerical examples show that this element can produce an exponential rate of convergence even when curved elements are used in the domain discretization.Vast numerical results are presented for nanoplates with various geometric shapes,including rectangular,circular,elliptic,annular,and sectorial.The high accuracy of the present element is verified by comparing the obtained results with analytical and numerical results in the literature.Additionally,a comprehensive parametric analysis is conducted to investigate the influences of nonlocal parameters,plate dimensions,and boundary conditions on the nonlocal behavior of nanoplates.The present element can be envisaged to allow large-scale mechanical simulations of nanoplates,with a guarantee of accuracy and efficiency.展开更多

Offshore triceratops is one of the successful manifestations of the form-dominant design approaches deployable in ultra-deepwater oil and gas exploration.The deck’s geometric shape and partial isolation from the legs...Offshore triceratops is one of the successful manifestations of the form-dominant design approaches deployable in ultra-deepwater oil and gas exploration.The deck’s geometric shape and partial isolation from the legs counteract lateral loads.Legs are position-restrained to the sea bed by taut-moored tendons,while ball joints partially isolate the deck from the buoyant legs.However,compliance in the horizontal plane imposes large displacements,intuiting the necessity to examine tendon failure.Numerical analysis of triceratops under wave and wind combined action is carried out under the postulated conditions of a tendon failure.10-yr,100-yr,and 1000-yr post-Katrina hurricane conditions are assumed as loading to the platform.Results confirm a marginal increase in the natural periods of stiff degrees of freedom even under postulated failure conditions,ensuring good adaptability to ultra-deep water.Under postulated failure,the tension of adjacent tendons varies significantly,causing a shift to the mean position of the platform.Fatigue life is significantly reduced under the postulated failure of tendons,making the platform free-floating without affecting its stability.Results also show that the pitch response of the deck is a clear manifestation of the postulated failure,which is otherwise absent due to the presence of ball joints.The attempted study deliberates on the fatigue life of tendons,assessing the platform’s suitability to ultra-deep waters and identifying the vulnerable legs for the chosen load combinations.展开更多

This work proposes an event-triggered adaptive control approach for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems under irregular constraints.Unlike the constraints considered in most existing papers,here the external irregu...This work proposes an event-triggered adaptive control approach for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems under irregular constraints.Unlike the constraints considered in most existing papers,here the external irregular constraints are considered and a constraints switching mechanism(CSM)is introduced to circumvent the difficulties arising from irregular output constraints.Based on the CSM,a new class of generalized barrier functions are constructed,which allows the control results to be independent of the maximum and minimum values(MMVs)of constraints and thus extends the existing results.Finally,we proposed a novel dynamic constraint-driven event-triggered strategy(DCDETS),under which the stress on signal transmission is reduced greatly and no constraints are violated by making a dynamic trade-off among system state,external constraints,and inter-execution intervals.It is proved that the system output is driven to close to the reference trajectory and the semi-global stability is guaranteed under the proposed control scheme,regardless of the external irregular output constraints.Simulation also verifies the effectiveness and benefits of the proposed method.展开更多
We present resolved Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope H I observations of the high gas-phase metallicity dwarf galaxy WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereafter J2306) and investigate whether it could be a Tidal Dwa...We present resolved Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope H I observations of the high gas-phase metallicity dwarf galaxy WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereafter J2306) and investigate whether it could be a Tidal Dwarf Galaxy(TDG) candidate. TDGs are observed to have higher metallicities than normal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual combination of a blue g-r color of 0.23 mag, irregular optical morphology and high-metallicity(12 +log(O/H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it an interesting galaxy to study in more detail. We find J2306 to be an H I rich galaxy with a large extended, unperturbed rotating H I disk. Using our H I data we estimated its dynamical mass and found the galaxy to be dark matter(DM) dominated within its H I radius. The quantity of DM, inferred from its dynamical mass, appears to rule out J2306 as an evolved TDG. A wide area environment search reveals J2306 to be isolated from any larger galaxies which could have been the source of its high gas metallicity. Additionally, the H I morphology and kinematics of the galaxy show no indication of a recent merger to explain the high-metallicity.Further detailed optical spectroscopic observations of J2306 might provide an answer to how a seemingly ordinary irregular dwarf galaxy achieved such a high level of metal enrichment.展开更多

Purpose–This study aims to investigate the acoustic roughness of rails on China’s high-speed railways,with a focus on short-wavelength irregularities(less than 80 cm),which are known to significantly contribute to n...Purpose–This study aims to investigate the acoustic roughness of rails on China’s high-speed railways,with a focus on short-wavelength irregularities(less than 80 cm),which are known to significantly contribute to noise.The goal is to develop a specific acoustic roughness spectrum tailored for China’s high-speed railway system,as no such spectrum currently exists.Design/methodology/approach–A long-term tracking study was conducted on major railway lines in China,monitoring rail roughness throughout the initial operational period and the rails’service life.Data preprocessing techniques such as peak removal and curvature correction were applied for acoustic adjustments.A spatial-wavelength domain transformation was performed,providing the distribution patterns and statistical characteristics of acoustic roughness on China’s high-speed rails.Based on these analyses,a model for constructing the acoustic roughness spectrum was developed.Findings–The study found that the acoustic roughness of China’s high-speed railway rails follows aχ2 distribution with six degrees of freedom.For wavelengths greater than 8 cm,the acoustic roughness spectrum remains below the ISO specified limits.In the wavelength range of 3.2 cm to 6.3 cm,the roughness is comparable to or within the limits specified by ISO 3095:2005 and ISO 3095:2013.However,for wavelengths shorter than 2.5 cm,the roughness exceeds ISO limits.Originality/value–This research fills the gap in the lack of a specific acoustic roughness spectrum for China’s high-speed railways.By establishing a tailored spectrum based on long-term data analysis,the findings provide valuable insights for noise control and rail maintenance in the context of China’s high-speed rail system.展开更多

Dueto the lack of efficient measurement equipment, there has been limited in-depth research on rail weld joint with a5-m wavelength range, leaving a significant knowledge gap in this field.Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the authors used the well-established inertial referencemethod (IR-method), and the state-of-the-art multi-point chord reference method (MCR-method). Two methodshave been applied in different types of rail straightness measurement trollies, respectively. These instrumentswere tested in a high-speed rail section within a certain region of China. The test results were ultimatelyvalidated through using traditional straightedge and feeler gauge methods as reference data to evaluate the railweld joint straightness within the 5-m wavelength range.Findings – The research reveals that IR-method and MCR-method produce reasonably similar measurementresults for wavelengths below 1 m. However, MCR-method outperforms IR-method in terms of accuracy forwavelengths exceeding 3 m. Furthermore, it was observed that IR-method, while operating at a slower speed,carries the risk of derailing and is incapable of detecting rail weld joints and low joints within the track.Originality/value – The research compare two methods’ measurement effects in a longer wavelength rangeand demonstrate the superiority of MCR-method.展开更多

In areas with large temperature differences,the uneven distribution of temperatures in the CRTS III ballastless track slab due to daytime sunlight can cause warpage deformation,leading to periodic rail irregularities ...In areas with large temperature differences,the uneven distribution of temperatures in the CRTS III ballastless track slab due to daytime sunlight can cause warpage deformation,leading to periodic rail irregularities that increase the wheel-rail impact of high-speed vehicles and accelerate track structure damage.Therefore,it is necessary to study the dynamic contact relationship between the composite slab and the base plate during vehicle running.The results of the study show that:1)Under the influence of temperature gradients,the composite slab tends to deform elliptically.With a positive temperature gradient,the middle part of the track slab bulges upward,causing the slab to be supported by its four corners.Conversely,with a negative temperature gradient,the four corners of the track slab bulge upward,resulting in the slab being supported by its center.2)Temperature gradients can lead to separation between the composite slab and the base plate,reducing the contact area between layers.During vehicle running,the contact area between layers gradually increases,but the separation cannot be completely closed.3)The temperature gradient significantly affects the vertical displacement of the track.The vertical displacement in the middle of the slab increases with a positive temperature gradient.In contrast,the vertical displacement at the ends of the slab increases with a negative temperature gradient.4)The stress of self-compacting concrete at the side position significantly increases under a positive temperature gradient,with the vertical stress increasing by 2.7 times when the temperature gradient increases from 0 to 90℃·m^(-1).展开更多

The complexity and performance trade-off is shown clearly and demonstrated with the paradigm of hybrid decoding. For regular LDPC code, the SNR-threshold performance and error-floor performance could be improved to the optimal level of ML decoding if the decoding complexity is progressively increased, usually corresponding to the near-ML decoding with progressively increased size of list. For irregular LDPC code, the SNR-threshold performance and error-floor performance could only be improved to a bottle-neck even with unlimited decoding complexity. However, with the technique of CRC-aided hybrid decoding, the ML performance could be greatly improved and approached with reasonable complexity thanks to the improved code-weight distribution from the concatenation of CRC and irregular LDPC code. Finally, CRC-aided 5GNR-LDPC code is evaluated and the capacity-approaching capability is shown.展开更多

文摘The coefficient of rolling friction is an important physical property of a maize particle. It is difficult to obtain the value of this coefficient because of the irregular shape of maize particles. This paper describes an approach that combines the discrete-element method (DEM) and a physical test to determine the coefficient of rolling friction of irregularly shaped maize particles. A novel test platform was used to obtain the maize particle's coefficient of restitution and the coefficient of static friction. EDEM software (DEM- Solutions, United Kingdom) was used to simulate the accumulation of maize particles on particles and on a zincified plate. The golden-section method was used to determine the range of the maize particle's coefficient of roiling friction. A single-factor test was used to determine the relationship between the maize particle's coefficient of rolling friction and their angle of repose. The results obtained from the EDEM simulation were compared with physical test results to determine the intergranular coefficient of rolling friction and the coefficient of roiling friction between maize particles and the zincified plate. Our study demonstrates that the angle of repose increases linearly with the coefficient of rolling friction of maize particles. The effect of the coefficient of rolling friction on the particle movement is studied. The physical verification test indicates that the obtained rolling friction of the maize particles is accurate. The findings of this paper provide a theoretical basis for maize-processing machine design and a discrete-element studv of the motion of maize particles inside such machines.

文摘The coefficient of rolling friction is a foundation parameter for conducting particles simulation,however,which of irregularly shaped maize seeds is difficult to measure.Furthermore,the coefficient of rolling friction between the simulation particles and the actual seeds is inconsistent due to the shaped difference of model and different position of gravity center.This paper use two methods to determinate the coefficient of rolling friction based on discrete element method(DEM)and physical experiments.Three types of maize models from five different shaped maize samples(including horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape,spherical shape,oblate shape,irregular shape)were developed with the help of slice modeling and 3D modeling technology.Aluminum cylinder container is used to arrange the simulation experiments of angle of repose with taking the coefficient of rolling friction as independent variables and the simulation angle of repose as target values.After predicting detailed the coefficient of rolling friction(including horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape,spherical shape,between horse-tooth shape and spherical cone shape,between horse-tooth shape and spherical shape,between spherical shape and spherical cone shape maize models),and forecasting a unified the coefficient of rolling friction among horse-tooth shape,spherical cone shape and spherical shape maize models,two types of materials(aluminum cylinder container and organic glass container)were used to validate the difference the angle of repose between the simulation maize models and actual maize seeds.Results show the relative error of the angle of repose between the maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the detailed method and the actual maize seeds is 0.22%,0.33%in aluminum cylinder,organic glass container,respectively.The relative error of the angle of repose between the simulation maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the united method and actual maize seeds is 2.47%,2.97%in aluminum cylinder,organic glass container,respectively.Although the difference of the angle of repose between two method is smaller,the detailed method is better.Moreover,From the accumulation process of the angle of repose we found that the difference on the contacts number between maize models and bottom plate,the change curve of the rotational kinetic energy,the potential energy of maize models controlled by the coefficient of rolling friction through the detailed and the united method are evidently.We can choose a better method to predict the coefficient of rolling friction of maize seeds according to the application situation and investigation objective of irregular maize seeds.The results can provide a theoretical basis for designing and optimizing the structure of the seed-metering machine with DEM.

文摘Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)limits.However,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device performances.In this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK crystals.In addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain boundaries.Meanwhile,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing recombination.As a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our knowledge.This validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

文摘Nanoplates have been widely used as elementary components for ultrasensitive and ultrafine resolution applications in the field of nano-electro-mechanical systems because of their potentially remarkable mechanical properties.The accurate analysis of their mechanical behavior is currently of particular interest in the function design and reliability analysis of nano-scaled devices.To examine the size-dependent bending and vibration behavior of nanoplates with curvilinear and irregular shapes,a new p-version curved C^(1)finite element is formulated in the framework of the nonlocal Kirchhoff plate model.This newly developed element not only enables an accurate geometry representation and easy mesh generation of curvilinear domains but also overcomes the difficulty of imposing C^(1)conformity required by the nonlocal Kirchhoff plate model,particularly on the curvilinear inter-element boundaries.Numerical examples show that this element can produce an exponential rate of convergence even when curved elements are used in the domain discretization.Vast numerical results are presented for nanoplates with various geometric shapes,including rectangular,circular,elliptic,annular,and sectorial.The high accuracy of the present element is verified by comparing the obtained results with analytical and numerical results in the literature.Additionally,a comprehensive parametric analysis is conducted to investigate the influences of nonlocal parameters,plate dimensions,and boundary conditions on the nonlocal behavior of nanoplates.The present element can be envisaged to allow large-scale mechanical simulations of nanoplates,with a guarantee of accuracy and efficiency.

文摘Occasional irregular initial solidification phenomena,including stickers,deep oscillation marks,depressions,and surface cracks of strand shells in continuous casting molds,are important limitations for developing the high-efficiency continuous casting of steels.The application of mold thermal monitoring(MTM) systems,which use thermocouples to detect and respond to temperature variations in molds,has become an effective method to address irregular initial solidification phenomena.Such systems are widely applied in numerous steel companies for sticker breakout prediction.However,monitoring the surface defects of strands remains immature.Hence,indepth research is necessary to utilize the potential advantages and comprehensive monitoring of MTM systems.This paper summarizes what is included in the irregular initial solidification phenomena and systematically reviews the current state of research on these phenomena by the MTM systems.Furthermore,the influences of mold slag behavior on monitoring these phenomena are analyzed.Finally,the remaining problems of the formation mechanisms and investigations of irregular initial solidification phenomena are discussed,and future research directions are proposed.
文摘Offshore triceratops is one of the successful manifestations of the form-dominant design approaches deployable in ultra-deepwater oil and gas exploration.The deck’s geometric shape and partial isolation from the legs counteract lateral loads.Legs are position-restrained to the sea bed by taut-moored tendons,while ball joints partially isolate the deck from the buoyant legs.However,compliance in the horizontal plane imposes large displacements,intuiting the necessity to examine tendon failure.Numerical analysis of triceratops under wave and wind combined action is carried out under the postulated conditions of a tendon failure.10-yr,100-yr,and 1000-yr post-Katrina hurricane conditions are assumed as loading to the platform.Results confirm a marginal increase in the natural periods of stiff degrees of freedom even under postulated failure conditions,ensuring good adaptability to ultra-deep water.Under postulated failure,the tension of adjacent tendons varies significantly,causing a shift to the mean position of the platform.Fatigue life is significantly reduced under the postulated failure of tendons,making the platform free-floating without affecting its stability.Results also show that the pitch response of the deck is a clear manifestation of the postulated failure,which is otherwise absent due to the presence of ball joints.The attempted study deliberates on the fatigue life of tendons,assessing the platform’s suitability to ultra-deep waters and identifying the vulnerable legs for the chosen load combinations.

文摘To explore the impact of wheel-rail excitation on the dynamic performance of axle box bearings,a dynamic model of the high-speed train including axle box bearings is developed.Subsequently,the dynamic response characteristics of the axle box bearing are examined.The investigation focuses on the acceleration characteristics of bearing vibration under excitation of track irregularities and wheel flats.In addition,experiments on both normal and faulty bearings are conducted separately,and the correctness of the model and some conclusions are verified.According to the research,track irregularity is unfavorable for bearing fault detection based on resonance demodulation.Under the same speed conditions,the acceleration peak of bearing is inversely proportional to the length of the wheel flat and directly proportional to its depth.The paper will contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamic performance of axle box bearings.

文摘This work proposes an event-triggered adaptive control approach for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems under irregular constraints.Unlike the constraints considered in most existing papers,here the external irregular constraints are considered and a constraints switching mechanism(CSM)is introduced to circumvent the difficulties arising from irregular output constraints.Based on the CSM,a new class of generalized barrier functions are constructed,which allows the control results to be independent of the maximum and minimum values(MMVs)of constraints and thus extends the existing results.Finally,we proposed a novel dynamic constraint-driven event-triggered strategy(DCDETS),under which the stress on signal transmission is reduced greatly and no constraints are violated by making a dynamic trade-off among system state,external constraints,and inter-execution intervals.It is proved that the system output is driven to close to the reference trajectory and the semi-global stability is guaranteed under the proposed control scheme,regardless of the external irregular output constraints.Simulation also verifies the effectiveness and benefits of the proposed method.

文摘We present resolved Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope H I observations of the high gas-phase metallicity dwarf galaxy WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereafter J2306) and investigate whether it could be a Tidal Dwarf Galaxy(TDG) candidate. TDGs are observed to have higher metallicities than normal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual combination of a blue g-r color of 0.23 mag, irregular optical morphology and high-metallicity(12 +log(O/H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it an interesting galaxy to study in more detail. We find J2306 to be an H I rich galaxy with a large extended, unperturbed rotating H I disk. Using our H I data we estimated its dynamical mass and found the galaxy to be dark matter(DM) dominated within its H I radius. The quantity of DM, inferred from its dynamical mass, appears to rule out J2306 as an evolved TDG. A wide area environment search reveals J2306 to be isolated from any larger galaxies which could have been the source of its high gas metallicity. Additionally, the H I morphology and kinematics of the galaxy show no indication of a recent merger to explain the high-metallicity.Further detailed optical spectroscopic observations of J2306 might provide an answer to how a seemingly ordinary irregular dwarf galaxy achieved such a high level of metal enrichment.

文摘In this paper,an effective algorithm for optimizing the subarray of conformal arrays is proposed.The method first divides theconformal array into several first-level subarrays.It uses the X algorithm to solve the feasible solution of first-level subarray tiling and employs the particle swarm algorithm to optimize the conformal array subarray tiling scheme with the maximum entropy of the planar mapping as the fitness function.Subsequently,convex optimization is applied to optimize the subarray amplitude phase.Data results verify that the method can effectively find the optimal conformal array tiling scheme.

文摘In the realm of subway shield tunnel operations,the impact of tunnel settlement on the operational performance of subway vehicles is a crucial concern.This study introduces an advanced analytical model to investigate rail geometric deformations caused by settlement within a vehicle-track-tunnel coupled system.The model integrates the geometric deformations of the track,attributed to settlement,as track irregularities.A novel“cyclic model”algorithm was employed to enhance computational efficiency without compromising on precision,a claim that was rigorously validated.The model’s capability extends to analyzing the time-history responses of vehicles traversing settlement-affected areas.The research primarily focuses on how settlement wavelength,amplitude,and vehicle speed influence operational performance.Key findings indicate that an increase in settlement wavelength can improve vehicle performance,whereas a rise in amplitude can degrade it.The study also establishes settlement thresholds,based on vehicle operation comfort and safety.These insights are pivotal for maintaining and enhancing the safety and efficiency of subway systems,providing a valuable framework for urban infrastructure management and long-term maintenance strategies in metropolitan transit systems.

文摘Purpose–This study aims to investigate the acoustic roughness of rails on China’s high-speed railways,with a focus on short-wavelength irregularities(less than 80 cm),which are known to significantly contribute to noise.The goal is to develop a specific acoustic roughness spectrum tailored for China’s high-speed railway system,as no such spectrum currently exists.Design/methodology/approach–A long-term tracking study was conducted on major railway lines in China,monitoring rail roughness throughout the initial operational period and the rails’service life.Data preprocessing techniques such as peak removal and curvature correction were applied for acoustic adjustments.A spatial-wavelength domain transformation was performed,providing the distribution patterns and statistical characteristics of acoustic roughness on China’s high-speed rails.Based on these analyses,a model for constructing the acoustic roughness spectrum was developed.Findings–The study found that the acoustic roughness of China’s high-speed railway rails follows aχ2 distribution with six degrees of freedom.For wavelengths greater than 8 cm,the acoustic roughness spectrum remains below the ISO specified limits.In the wavelength range of 3.2 cm to 6.3 cm,the roughness is comparable to or within the limits specified by ISO 3095:2005 and ISO 3095:2013.However,for wavelengths shorter than 2.5 cm,the roughness exceeds ISO limits.Originality/value–This research fills the gap in the lack of a specific acoustic roughness spectrum for China’s high-speed railways.By establishing a tailored spectrum based on long-term data analysis,the findings provide valuable insights for noise control and rail maintenance in the context of China’s high-speed rail system.
文摘Purpose – Straightness measurement of rail weld joint is of essential importance to railway maintenance. Dueto the lack of efficient measurement equipment, there has been limited in-depth research on rail weld joint with a5-m wavelength range, leaving a significant knowledge gap in this field.Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the authors used the well-established inertial referencemethod (IR-method), and the state-of-the-art multi-point chord reference method (MCR-method). Two methodshave been applied in different types of rail straightness measurement trollies, respectively. These instrumentswere tested in a high-speed rail section within a certain region of China. The test results were ultimatelyvalidated through using traditional straightedge and feeler gauge methods as reference data to evaluate the railweld joint straightness within the 5-m wavelength range.Findings – The research reveals that IR-method and MCR-method produce reasonably similar measurementresults for wavelengths below 1 m. However, MCR-method outperforms IR-method in terms of accuracy forwavelengths exceeding 3 m. Furthermore, it was observed that IR-method, while operating at a slower speed,carries the risk of derailing and is incapable of detecting rail weld joints and low joints within the track.Originality/value – The research compare two methods’ measurement effects in a longer wavelength rangeand demonstrate the superiority of MCR-method.

文摘In areas with large temperature differences,the uneven distribution of temperatures in the CRTS III ballastless track slab due to daytime sunlight can cause warpage deformation,leading to periodic rail irregularities that increase the wheel-rail impact of high-speed vehicles and accelerate track structure damage.Therefore,it is necessary to study the dynamic contact relationship between the composite slab and the base plate during vehicle running.The results of the study show that:1)Under the influence of temperature gradients,the composite slab tends to deform elliptically.With a positive temperature gradient,the middle part of the track slab bulges upward,causing the slab to be supported by its four corners.Conversely,with a negative temperature gradient,the four corners of the track slab bulge upward,resulting in the slab being supported by its center.2)Temperature gradients can lead to separation between the composite slab and the base plate,reducing the contact area between layers.During vehicle running,the contact area between layers gradually increases,but the separation cannot be completely closed.3)The temperature gradient significantly affects the vertical displacement of the track.The vertical displacement in the middle of the slab increases with a positive temperature gradient.In contrast,the vertical displacement at the ends of the slab increases with a negative temperature gradient.4)The stress of self-compacting concrete at the side position significantly increases under a positive temperature gradient,with the vertical stress increasing by 2.7 times when the temperature gradient increases from 0 to 90℃·m^(-1).
文摘In this paper, both the high-complexity near-ML list decoding and the low-complexity belief propagation decoding are tested for some well-known regular and irregular LDPC codes. The complexity and performance trade-off is shown clearly and demonstrated with the paradigm of hybrid decoding. For regular LDPC code, the SNR-threshold performance and error-floor performance could be improved to the optimal level of ML decoding if the decoding complexity is progressively increased, usually corresponding to the near-ML decoding with progressively increased size of list. For irregular LDPC code, the SNR-threshold performance and error-floor performance could only be improved to a bottle-neck even with unlimited decoding complexity. However, with the technique of CRC-aided hybrid decoding, the ML performance could be greatly improved and approached with reasonable complexity thanks to the improved code-weight distribution from the concatenation of CRC and irregular LDPC code. Finally, CRC-aided 5GNR-LDPC code is evaluated and the capacity-approaching capability is shown.

The flexural behavior of T shaped high strength concrete members subjected to axial compression and biaxial bending is studied. The main factors affecting the flexural behavior of T shaped high strength concrete members are loading angle, axial compression ratio and reinforcement ratio.
