Relationship of Internet Addiction with Depression, Loneliness and Health Related Lifestyle among University Students 被引量:2

Internet addiction (IA) is a newly emerged clinical disorder and it has negative effects on physical and mental health. University students are the most vulnerable group for IA, The aim of the present study was to determine the relationship of IA with depression, loneliness and health related lifestyle among university students. Cross-sectional survey was conducted by enrolling 175 students of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya. Internet addiction test (IAT) was used to assess the level of IA. Depression, loneliness, and health related lifestyle were assessed using Peradeniya depression scale (PDS), University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) loneliness scale and health practice score (HPS) respectively. T-test and ANOVA were conducted to examine the differences; and correlation and regression analyses were used to examine the relationships between variables. Overall, 40.6% of students were placed in IA group. Generally 28.6% of students had mild and 12.0% had moderate addiction. No case of severe IA was seen. There were 20.6% of students in depressive state and 17.1% of students had poor HPS. The average score that the student got from loneliness scale was 23.42. There was a positive significant correlation between IA and both depression and loneliness. Moreover, a negative significant correlation found between IA and health related lifestyle. Male students had higher IA scores than female students. The study results are considered to develop preventive interventions and treatment strategies. 展开更多

Measuring and monitoring health related quality of life (HRQoL) in youth are important for both researchers and decision makers. During the time that young people are at university, many will encounter a number of academic, as well as social, emotional and psychological difficulties. The aims of this study are to: 1) assess the health related quality of life of youths using SF-36 questionnaire and its factor determinants, and 2) provide an objective basis for a health promotion structure. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study in South Lebanon, in a population of 282 young university students attending a public university which is the largest and most widespread institution of higher education in Lebanon. Socioeconomic and lifestyle behaviors data were collected. Students’ HRQoL was measured using the SF-36 Health Survey. Results: The mean age of the respondents was 18.7 years (SD = 1.16), 80.1% were women, 64.5% were living in rural area. The proportion of current smokers was significantly greater among men than women (26.8% vs. 11.5%, p < 0.01). Water pipe was the main type of smoking. Education of the fathers had negatively influenced HRQoL. Younger age scored higher in Social Functioning and Role-Emotional;the area of residence had no influences on SF-36 scales scores. Females had poorer HRQoL than males especially in mental health scales. Smokers had low Vitality and Mental Health scores. Sedentary lifestyle was linked to a lower score of Physical Functioning (β = -5.16, 95% CI = -7.67 -2.65), and Vitality ( β= -5.85, 95% CI = -10.24 -1.45). The HRQoL of the students studying business and economics was higher than those studying health. Conclusion: Youths’ HRQoL is affected by socio-demographic and behavioral characteristics. Effective health-promoting actions, social support, and counseling services should be implemented in the campus and are a necessary step towards the main goal of improving the overall HRQoL of the university young students in Lebanon. 展开更多

Seismic wave modeling is a cornerstone of geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, for which finite-difference methods are often applied. In this paper, we extend the velocity- pressure formulation of the acoustic wave equation to marine seismic modeling using the staggered-grid finite-difference method. The scheme is developed using a fourth-order spatial and a second-order temporal operator. Then, we define a stability coefficient (SC) and calculate its maximum value under the stability condition. Based on the dispersion relationship, we conduct a detailed dispersion analysis for submarine sediments in terms of the phase and group velocity over a range of angles, stability coefficients, and orders. We also compare the numerical solution with the exact solution for a P-wave line source in a homogeneous submarine model. Additionally, the numerical results determined by a Marmousi2 model with a rugged seafloor indicate that this method is sufficient for modeling complex submarine structures. 展开更多

In this short contribution, a reciprocity relation between mass constituents of the universe was explained governed by Hardy’s maximum entanglement probability of φ5 = 0.09017. While well explainable through a set-theoretical argumentation, the relation may also be a consequence of a coupling factor attributed to the normed dimensions of the universe. Also, very simple expressions for the mass amounts were obtained, when replacing the Golden Mean φ by the Archimedes’ constant π. A brief statement was devoted to the similarity between the E-Infinity Theory of El Naschie and the Information Relativity Theory of Suleiman. Here I am trying to create a structural model of universe according to my thoughts. Studies showthat universe is accelerating its rate of expansion. Here I am trying to get some conclusions according to my thoughts. In my opinion, our universe is under a gravitational frame with all the matters in it. In this gravitational frame of universe we can consider our universe as a closed system and the empty space outside the frame as an open system. There are two possibilities we can find. One is relative motion of the objects inside the frame. By this way we can feel the universe is accelerating its expansion, but it is not. Another one is the vacuum energy absorption and negative pressure inside the frame. According to this thought, we can say that universe is accelerating and it can continue its motion at present conditions on it, even the force created by the big bang is decreasing. The other point is that, once the absorbed vacuum can create a negative pressure inside the frame, there is no need for the concept of dark energy in our universe [1]. According to this model, negative pressure inside the frame will be created by the absorbed vacuum from the space. So the existence of dark energy can be questioned. In this model, dark energy doesn't play any role in the expansion or rate of acceleration on the expansion of universe. So the dark energy doesn’t exist in this model. During the absorption of vacuum to the frame, it will increase the volume of the frame. It will create free spaces inside the frame to accommodate the vacuum inside the frame. The rest of the absorbed vacuum will move to the center of the frame by the action against gravity and the force created by the big bang. It will increase the density of the absorbed vacuum in the center and can create the negative pressure on the frame to pull it outside to the empty space. It will cause the acceleration on expansion of universe. These things are explained deeply in this article. And here it also explains the destiny of universe according to the frame and expansion of universe. 展开更多

The notion of "universal human rights" indicates the ideal of "all human rights for all." As the provision in Article 2 of the UDHR stated: "Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, politi cal or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status." However, some nonWestern govern ment officials and intellectuals have expressed doubts about the justifi ability of the term, which seems only to be a reflection of unique Western culture rather than Asian or Arabian ones. At the Vienna World Human Rights Conference, many heads of state said that universal human rights cannot be compatible with nonWest em culture. Even Lee Kuan Yew, the former leader of Singapore, declared in 1996: "Asian values are universal values. European values are European values.''~ This statement is obviously a rejection of the idea that human rights are universal. In contrast, universal rights extremists and human rights activists and NGOs, such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, try to propagandize unified international human rights standards and international human rights re gimes. 价值预期与价值赋予:高校教师劳动关系的匹配博弈模型

在市场化转型时期,高校教师劳动关系的深层逻辑是不同价值间的博弈。价值预期体现为劳动主体在意识层面对价值回报的判断与预估;价值赋予表现为制度对劳动过程的支持程度。基于劳动价值论与制度价值论,对人、劳动价值与制度之间的关系... 在市场化转型时期,高校教师劳动关系的深层逻辑是不同价值间的博弈。价值预期体现为劳动主体在意识层面对价值回报的判断与预估;价值赋予表现为制度对劳动过程的支持程度。基于劳动价值论与制度价值论,对人、劳动价值与制度之间的关系进行深入剖析,以价值赋予与价值预期为横纵坐标,构建基于价值博弈的高校教师劳动关系博弈模型。从模型中发现,高校教师劳动关系有4种基本类型关系:高价值预期与高价值赋予;高价值预期与低价值赋予;低价值预期与高价值赋予;低价值预期与低价值赋予。通过质性访谈检验发现:当人、劳动价值与制度之间的关系相互协调时,以高价值预期与高价值赋予为代表的“双高”类型是劳动关系中的最优博弈类型;反之,则可能出现劳动关系的稳定性缺陷。这由此反映出“人与制度”的伴生性问题。因此,建立高校教师和谐劳动关系需要强化人、劳动价值与制度之间的内在共生逻辑,以及扭转价值失序局面,从而回归价值理性,提升价值赋予与价值预期的适配性。 展开更多

“三农”领域高校智库在“三农”问题分析、决策拟定及政策工具弥补纠正等方面发挥着重要作用。为促进中国“三农”领域学术研究与智库研究有效对接,分析相关高校智库建设现状,总结其发展行为、运行机制、成果水平等方面及特点。研究发... “三农”领域高校智库在“三农”问题分析、决策拟定及政策工具弥补纠正等方面发挥着重要作用。为促进中国“三农”领域学术研究与智库研究有效对接,分析相关高校智库建设现状,总结其发展行为、运行机制、成果水平等方面及特点。研究发现,中国“三农”领域的高校智库建设主要依托一批专业化的研究团队和学术机构,在“三农”领域智库中数量占比最高且呈现快速增长趋势,并表现出强烈的地域性特征,在推动农业产业高质量发展方面发挥重要作用;但面临着服务乡村振兴的激励有限、协同合作能力有限、农业生产活动复杂性与农村调查公益性、成果实效水平不高和政策转化力度不够、资源及资金投入缺乏多元化与灵活性等困境。针对此,提出发挥涉农学科优势、推动成果评价制度改革、营造良好生态体系、畅通资政服务渠道、打造政产学研联盟共同体、构建“旋转门”机制、与新农村发展研究院协同建设等对策建议,以期对“三农”领域高校智库体系的建设与转型升级有所裨益,更好地满足新时期全面推进乡村振兴战略的智力需求。 展开更多

随着我国医药产业的深入发展,国家对具有开拓精神的创新创业型药学人才的需求不断增加,探索创新创业教育与药学类专业教育融合的路径和方法成为高等教育的热点问题。文章整理国内外近十年的相关文献,对药学类专业专创融合进展情况展开... 随着我国医药产业的深入发展,国家对具有开拓精神的创新创业型药学人才的需求不断增加,探索创新创业教育与药学类专业教育融合的路径和方法成为高等教育的热点问题。文章整理国内外近十年的相关文献,对药学类专业专创融合进展情况展开研究。结果显示,美国、日本等国家的创新创业教育已经实现了专业化、体系化发展。国内创新创业教育与药学类专业教育的融合在理论与实践方面形成了诸多有价值的成果,各高校在药学类和中药学类主干课程中均开展了一系列教学改革,以完善药学创新创业人才培养模式,促进药学类学生全面发展,上述改革促进了全能型创新人才的培养,推动了我国医药事业的蓬勃发展。 展开更多

[目的]通过供给侧改革来改变高校水产人才培养与乡村振兴人才需求之间有所脱节的现状。[方法]水产高校人才培养紧紧围绕“三农”人才需求,以生产实习为抓手,进行贯穿供给侧与需求侧的一体化改革。[结果]集美大学水产学院动物科学专业生产实习指导小组在为期3年的人才培养供给侧改革研究基础上,提出了实习企业遴选、实习指导教师队伍建设、实习学生心理调适、实习监管与考核和实习效果反馈的有效举措。[结论]采用此供给侧改革模式,高校水产类专业可培养出乡村振兴所需要的人才。 展开更多
