In the past six years, the medicine industry has undergone rapid development in the wake of the market economy. Although some problems cropped up in 1994, a series of laws, policies, regulations and measures has been formulated for strengthening administration. This shows how the protection of intellectual property and the deepening reform of the medicine industry are being enhanced by the Chinese government.展开更多

However, there have been no national surveys or analyses reported in academic journals on the number of practicin...In recent decades, acupuncture has been used more widely and extensively in the United States （U.S.）. However, there have been no national surveys or analyses reported in academic journals on the number of practicing or licensed acupuncturists, This study was conducted to identify the approximate number of licensed acupuncturists active in 2015. The Board of Acupuncture or Board of Medicine in each state or U.S. territory was contacted to collect data, Online license information searching was also performed in order to get accurate numbers of licensed acupuncturists for those states in which a board was unable to be contacted. The study found that the number of licensed acupuncturists in 2015 in the U,S, was 34,481. Of this, more than 50% were licensed in three states alone： California （32.39%）, New York （11,89%） and Florida （7.06%）. The number of licensed acupuncturists increased 23.30% and 52.09%, compared to the year 2009 （n = 27,965） and 2004 （n = 22,671）, respectively; increasing about 1,266 per year. There were 62 and 10 accredited acupuncture institutions providing master and doctoral degrees, respectively. The West Coast comprised 51.39% of degree granting programs, while the East Coast comprised 29.17%; together the coastal states housed more than 80% of all programs, with the remainder sprinkled across the southern （9.72%）, northern （8.33%）, and the middle/central states （1.39%）. Objective：To observe the clinical curative effect of Chinese medicine Bushen Huoxue Granule（补肾活血颗粒,BHG） on Parkinson＇s disease（PD） patients with depressive state.Methods：Sixty-two PD patients with depress...Objective：To observe the clinical curative effect of Chinese medicine Bushen Huoxue Granule（补肾活血颗粒,BHG） on Parkinson＇s disease（PD） patients with depressive state.Methods：Sixty-two PD patients with depressive state were randomly assigned to two groups by using a random number table,31 in each group.Madopar was given to all as the conventional treatment.The fluoxetine hydrochloride dispersible tablet was given to the patients in the control group and BHG was given to those in the treatment group.The therapeutic course for all was 12 weeks.Before and after treatment,Hamilton depression rating scale（HAMD） was applied to judge the curative effect,and the changes of cerebral neurotransmitters levels in the brain of patients were detected by encephalofluctuograph technique.Results：The scores of HAMD in the two groups were decreased markedly after 12-week treatment.It was lower in the treatment group than that in the control group with significant difference（P〈0.01）.The contents of norepinephrine（NE） and 5-serotonin（5-HT） in the PD patients were obviously lower than normal value.There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment（P〉0.05）.The contents of NE and 5-HT were all increased in the two groups after treatment（P〈0.05）,with significant differences between the two groups（P〈0.01）.Conclusion：BHG could increase the contents of NE and 5-HT in PD patients＇ brain to improve the depressive state of PD patients.展开更多

Firstly, the balance of redox state is the basis of homeostasis, and the balance ability of redox can reflect he...This article discussed the feasibility of assessing health state by detecting redox state of human body. Firstly, the balance of redox state is the basis of homeostasis, and the balance ability of redox can reflect health state of human body. Secondly, the redox state of human body is a sensitive index of multiple risk factors of health such as age, external environment and psychological factors. It participates in the occurrence and development of multiple diseases involving metabolic diseases and nervous system diseases, and can serve as a cut-in point for treatment of these diseases. Detecting the redox state of high risk people is significantly important for early detection and treatment of disease. The blood plasma and urine could be selected to detect, which is convenient. It is pointed that the indexes not only involve oxidation product and antioxidant enzyme but also redox couple. Chinese medicine constitution reflects the state of body itself and the ability of adapting to external environment, which is consistent with the connotation of health. It is found that there are nine basic types of constitution in Chinese population, which provides a theoretical basis of health preservation, preventive treatment of disease and personalized treatment. With the combination of redox state detection and the Chinese medicine constitution theory, the heath state can be systemically assessed by conducting large-scale epidemiological survey with classified detection on redox state of human body.展开更多
