It is challenging for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)to achieve comparable low-temperature(low-T)performance due to the easy-frozen electrolyte and severe Zn dendrites.Herein,an aqueous electrolyte with a low freezing point and high ionic conductivity is proposed.Combined with molecular dynamics simulation and multi-scale interface analysis(time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry threedimensional mapping and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method),the temperature independence of the V_(2)O_(5)cathode and Zn anode is observed to be opposite.Surprisingly,dominated by the solvent structure of the designed electrolyte at low temperatures,vanadium dissolution/shuttle is significantly inhibited,and the zinc dendrites caused by this electrochemical crosstalk are greatly relieved,thus showing an abnormal temperature inversion effect.Through the disclosure and improvement of the above phenomena,the designed Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell delivers superior low-T performance,maintaining almost 99%capacity retention after 9500 cycles(working more than 2500 h)at-20°C.This work proposes a kind of electrolyte suitable for low-T ZIBs and reveals the inverse temperature dependence of the Zn anode,which might offer a novel perspective for the investigation of low-T aqueous battery systems. 展开更多

Cryptography is deemed to be the optimum strategy to secure the data privacy in which the data is encoded ahead of time before sharing it.Visual Secret Sharing(VSS)is an encryption method in which the secret message is split into at least two trivial images called’shares’to cover it.However,such message are always targeted by hackers or dishonest members who attempt to decrypt the message.This can be avoided by not uncovering the secret message without the universal share when it is presented and is typically taken care of,by the trusted party.Hence,in this paper,an optimal and secure double-layered secret image sharing scheme is proposed.The proposed share creation process contains two layers such as threshold-based secret sharing in the first layer and universal share based secret sharing in the second layer.In first layer,Genetic Algorithm(GA)is applied to find the optimal threshold value based on the randomness of the created shares.Then,in the second layer,a novel design of universal share-based secret share creation method is proposed.Finally,Opposition Whale Optimization Algorithm(OWOA)-based optimal key was generated for rectange block cipher to secure each share.This helped in producing high quality reconstruction images.The researcher achieved average experimental outcomes in terms of PSNR and MSE values equal to 55.154225 and 0.79365625 respectively.The average PSNRwas less(49.134475)and average MSE was high(1)in case of existing methods. 展开更多

The gaze is a means of power that can flow through family relationships.It has intense regulatory overtones.In her short story Mr.Tang’s Girls,Malaysian-Chinese Anglophone diasporic writer Shirley Geok-lin Lim shows the conflict between Eastern and Western cultures and the resistance of women under the oppression of patriarchy through the portrayal of the father,Ah Kong,and the eldest daughter,Kim Li.Based on Foucault’s discipline gaze and Hooks’oppositional gaze,this article analyzes the power operation in the story from the following three aspects:the male gaze,discipline and self-discipline,and the oppositional gaze.Kim Li’s subjective image of breaking free from male ownership control has been presented.It suggests the difficulties encountered by female groups in their rebellion against the male gaze and their pursuit of freedom and emancipation.It also reflects the tragedy of awakening women’s destinies under the dual oppression of patriarchy and the East-Westen cultural conflict. 展开更多

[Objective] This study was to explore the effect of purple yam on the nutritional and physiological functions of rats.[Method] Forty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups with ten rats in each group which were reared with artificial semisynthetic feed added with 10% steamed yam powder.The four groups,the casein(CK) group which was used as the control,the purple yam(PY) group,the Tiegun yam(TY) group and common Huai yam(HY) group,were supplied with feed of equal content of energy,protein and fat.The rats were pair-fed for 56 days to observe changes of relevant nutritional and physiological indices.[Result] There were no significant differences of body weight,food conversion rate and organ indices between rats in PY group and CK group.Mean corpuscular hemoglobin in PY group was significantly lower than that in CK group;hemoglobin showed no significant difference with that in CK group;eosnophils was lower than that in CK group.Low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,total cholesterol and atherogenic index in PY group were lower than that in the other three groups;anti-atherogenic index was the highest among the four groups,while showing no significant difference;triglyceride content was lower than that in CK group.Among the antioxidant indices,the activity of catalase and superoxide dismutase were higher than that in CK group,while malondialdehyde content was lower than that in CK group.[Conclusion] Purple yam showed the trend of reducing the content of blood glucose,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,triglyceride,malondialdehyde,and raising the activity of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase and catalase,thus having certain antioxidative function. 展开更多

[ Objective ] The paper was to isolate actinomycete strains with antagonistic activity against yam anthracnose from the rhizosphere soil of medicinal plants in Hainan Province, and identify its taxonomic status. [ Method ] Using HV medium, actinomycete strains were isolated from the rhizesphere soil of frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. ). The active antagonistic actinomycetes were selected by using confrontation culture method and antifimgal test of fermentation products. Ac- cording to morphology, combined with 16S rRNA gene analysis, the taxonomic status of active actinomycetes was identified. [ Result] Twelve strains of actinomyce- tes were isolated from the rhizosphere soil of medicinal plant frangipani. Strain 51173 showed significant antifungal activity against Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, which was identified to be a member of Streptomyces violaceusniger 16S rRNA gene clade. [ Conclusion] Strain 51173 showed a good application potential for bio- logical control against yam anthracnose. 展开更多

Under high light conditions or UV radiation,tea plant leaves produce more flavonols,which contribute to the bitter taste of tea;however,neither the flavonol biosynthesis pathways nor the regulation of their production are well understood.Intriguingly,tea leaf flavonols are enhanced by UV-B but reduced by shading treatment.CsFLS,CsUGT78A14,CsMYB12,and CsbZIP1 were upregulated by UV-B radiation and downregulated by shading.CsMYB12 and CsbZIP1 bound to the promoters of CsFLS and CsUGT78A14,respectively,and activated their expression individually.CsbZIP1 positively regulated CsMYB12 and interacted with CsMYB12,which specifically activated flavonol biosynthesis.Meanwhile,CsPIF3 and two MYB repressor genes,CsMYB4 and CsMYB7,displayed expression patterns opposite to that of CsMYB12.CsMYB4 and CsMYB7 bound to CsFLS and CsUGT78A14 and repressed their CsMYB12-activated expression.While CsbZIP1 and CsMYB12 regulated neither CsMYB4 nor CsMYB7,CsMYB12 interacted with CsbZIP1,CsMYB4,and CsMYB7,but CsbZIP1 did not physically interact with CsMYB4 or CsMYB7.Finally,CsPIF3 bound to and activated CsMYB7 under shading to repress flavonol biosynthesis.These combined results suggest that UV activation and shading repression of flavonol biosynthesis in tea leaves are coordinated through a complex network involving CsbZIP1 and CsPIF3 as positive MYB activators and negative MYB repressors,respectively.The study thus provides insight into the regulatory mechanism underlying the production of bitter-tasting flavonols in tea plants. 展开更多

By using mathematical reasoning, this paper demonstrates the mathematical intervening principle: “Virtual disease is to fill his mother but real disease is to rush down his son” (虚则补其母, 实则泄其子) and “Strong inhibition of the same time, support the weak” (抑强扶弱) based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in image mathematics of Traditional Chinese Mathematics (TCMath). We defined generalized relations and generalized reasoning, introduced the concept of steady multilateral systems with two non-compatibility relations, and discussed its energy properties. Later based on the intervention principle in image mathematics of TCMath and treated the research object of the image mathematics as a steady multilateral system, it has been proved that the mathematical intervening principle is true. The kernel of this paper is the existence and reasoning of the non-compatibility relations in steady multilateral systems, and it accords with the oriental thinking model. 展开更多

In this study, the structure of polysaccharides from Chinese yam (Dioscoreae opposite "Qi") was analyzed and identified by infrared spectroscopy within an infrared spectral range of 400-4 000 cm^-1, Characteristic absorption peaks were observed at 840 cm^-1 (α-glucosidic bond), 759.21 cm^-1 (xylose), 830.87 cm^-1 (rhamnose), 812.81 cm^-1, 876.60 cm^-1 (mannose) and 842.64 cm^-1 (arabinose) in infrared spectra of polysaccharides from D. opposite "Qi", indicating that D. opposite "Qi" polysaccharides exist mainly in the form of α-glucosidic bonds, including xylose, rhamnose, mannose and arabinose. The experimental results could provide the basis for quantitative analysis, development and application of polysaccharides from D. opposite "Qi". 展开更多

METHODS... AIM: To investigate child and adolescent psychiatrists'(CAPs) attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) and oppositional defiant disorder(ODD) diagnoses and treatments in real-world clinical practice. METHODS: The medical records of 69 ADHD children(mean age = 9.5 years), newly referred to the ADHD clinic, were reviewed for their scores of parent- and teacher-reported Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scales(VADRSs), CAPs' diagnoses of ADHD and ODD, and CAPs' treatment recommendations. Among 63 ADHD subjects who completed both parent and teacher VADRSs, we examined the agreement of the parent and teacher VADRSs. We also examined the concurrent validity of CAPs' ODD diagnoses against the results from the VADRSs. In addition, we compared CAPs' treatment recommendations against established ADHD and ODD guidelines.RESULTS: Among 63 ADHD subjects, the majority of the subjects(92%) met full ADHD diagnostic criteria at least in one setting(parent or teacher) on the VADRSs. Nearly half of the patients met full ADHD diagnostic criteria in two settings(parent and teacher). Relatively low agreement between the parent and teacher VADRSs were found(95%CI:-0.33 to 0.14). For 29 children who scored positive for ODD on the rating scales, CAPs confirmed the ODD diagnosis in only 12 of these casepositives, which is considered as a fair agreement between CAPs and VADRSs(95%CI: 0.10-0.53). For 27 children with no ODD diagnosis made by either CAP or VADRS, more than half of them were recommended for medication only. This study aimed to describe the situation of iodine supplementation in pregnant women,and to explore the effects of such supplementation measures on iodine nutrition and thyroid function.Pregnant women in seven provinces were selected by multi-stage sampling.Basic information was collected and a food frequency questionnaire was administered.Salt iodine,urinary iodine,and thyroid function were determined.Subjects were divided into five groups based on iodine supplementation.For pregnant women,the median urinary iodine concentration(MUIC)in seven provinces was 164.3μg/L,and thyroid nodules(15.75%)were a common thyroid disease.Gestation,iodine supplementation,etc.impacted iodine nutrition and thyroid function.Compared with other groups,simultaneous iodine supplementation with iodized salt,iodine-rich foods,and iodine preparations(the ISFP group)was the most effective approach for improving iodine nutrition;supplementation via iodine-rich foods only showed the lowest prevalence of TPOAb-positive(5.48%)and TgAb-positive(1.37%)diseases.In addition,pregnant women with MUIC in the 150–249μg/L range showed higher rates of TPOAb-positive(13.78%)disease and sub-hypothyroidism(5.38%)compared to those with MUIC in the 100–149μg/L range;however,goiter showed the opposite trend.Our results indicate that iodine supplementation needs vary from person to person. 展开更多
