By reviewing the current status of environmental pol ution caused by livestock and poultry manure in China, harm-free treatment technology for livestock and poultry manure including fer-tilization technology, feed processing technology and energy technology were elabo-rated so as to address the existing issues in this regard and provide references for resource utilization and eliminating environmental pol ution through modified technical system and environment laws.展开更多

TheYangtze River is the largest river in China, with rich food and fish species, hence, the Yangtze River would be an ideal habitat for growth and reproduction of anchovy. In this pa- per, based on fishing log data of anchovy in Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River, realted analysis was conducted in digital map using statistical software and GIS. From 2008 to 2011, the number of anchovy fishing vessels and fishing days in Jiangsu section remained stable, but the fishing volume and economic profit of single-vessel fluctuated constantly. This study provides references and advices for plan and management of anchovy fishery resource to administrative department.展开更多

In total, 2040 SSR loci were identified, with the frequency of 3.3%. Trinucleotide repeat was dominant, followed by dinucieotide and hexanucleotide repeats. Among 181 types of repeat motifs, (AGA)n and (ATG)n were the dominant repeat motif types, taking up 12.01% and 3.53%, respectively. Totally, four material-special EST-SSR markers were characterized. This study enriches molecular markers of L. sativa, and also lays a theoretical foundation for following germplasm identification, molecular marker assisted breeding and genetic map construction.展开更多

This paper systematically studies on how to make “water energy sources market compensation policy”, “the economic compensation policy for relevant interest subjects” and “the ecological compensation policy of basin ecological water.” So, it is necessary to exert the complementary function between market compensation and government compensation by the means of economic compensation and to establish the ecological compensation policy of basin ecological water, which is beneficial to coordinating the stakeholders’ interests of cross-region or inter-basin. And it is important and significant to establish constantly perfected ecological compensation policy among the micro subjects on water energy resources development, so as to coordinate interest relationships among various subjects and finally reach the aim of sustainable use of water energy resources and environmental protection as possible.展开更多

An architecture com- bining an Information-Centric Network (ICN) and Sottware-Defmed Network (SDN) (IC-SDN) has gradually attracted more attention. How- ever, the existing studies regarding IC-SDN still lack support in terms of the "network status awareness" function, resulting in unreasonable resource allocation. In this paper, we propose a new status-aware resource adaptation sche- me, i.e. a status-aware module is embedded into basic elements (Forwarding Node (FN) and Resource adaption Manager (RM)). The FNs collect the network status dynamically for the controller to reallocate network resources accor- ding to the fluctuations in environmental con- ditions. Simulation results show that, compared with the existing IC-SDN mechanism, the pro- posed scheme reduced the link bandwidth var- iance by 56% and the content delivery latency by 40%. The proof-of-concept implementation demonstrates the feasibility of our proposed sc- heme for small-scale deployment.展开更多

We formulate our concerned problem by using multi-dimensional Markov model. Our problem considers that each user may access multiple small cell base stations. We conduct simulation experiments to evaluate the performance of our proposed resource allocation scheme. Our simulation results show that the appropriate spectrum resource allocation is important to improve network performance.展开更多

This letter looks at the fact that an increasing number of works in recent years on this subject has promoted an increase in its level of importance in the design and operation of energy systems. The main change is the consideration of complementarity no longer as a consequence but as a design parameter. The continental dimension of Brazil, for example, should make it obvious that complementarities should be sought among the various energy resources available.展开更多

Traditionally, however, IT and mechanical engineers have separately op- timized the cyber and physical aspects of data center operations. This paper considers both of these aspects with the eventual goal of developing performance and power management techniques that operate holistically to control the entire cyber-physical complex of data center installations. Toward this end, we propose a balance of payments model for holis- tic power and performance management. As an example of coordinated cyber-physical system management, the energy- aware cyber-physical system (EaCPS) uses an application controller on the cyber side to guarantee application perfor- mance, and on the physical side, it utilizes electric current- aware capacity management (CACM) to smartly place exe- cutables to reduce the energy consumption of each chassis present in a data center rack. A web application, representa- tive of a multi-tier web site, is used to evaluate the perfor- mance of the controller on the cyber side, the CACM control on the physical side, and the holistic EaCPS methods in a mid-size instrumented data center. Results indicate that coor- dinated EaCPS outperforms separate cyber and physical con- trol modules.展开更多
