The critical mass obtained depends on the oblateness of the rigid shell and radiation of the second primary as well as the density parameter k. The stability of the triangular points depends largely on the values of k. The destabilizing tendencies of the oblateness and radiation factors were enhanced when k > 0 and weakened for k .展开更多

It is also discovered that the collinear points are unstable for k > 0 and stable for k < 0.展开更多

The autonomized dynamical system with constant coefficients here is possible, only when the shell is empty or when the densities of the medium and the infinitesimal body are equal. We found that the center of the shell is an equilibrium point. Further, when k﹥1;k?being the constant of a particular integral of the Gylden-Meshcherskii problem;a pair of equilibrium point, lying in the -plane?with each forming triangles with the center of the shell and the second primary exist. Several of the points exist depending on k;hence every point inside the shell is an equilibrium point. The linear stability of the equilibrium points is examined and it is seen that the point at the center of the shell of the autonomized system is conditionally stable;while that of the non-autonomized system is unstable. The triangular equilibrium points on the -plane of both systems are unstable.展开更多

This study focuses on the impact of the compression-expansion effect, indicated by the pressure ratio, on the heat transfer in a finned heat exchanger under practical operating conditions of the ambient-temperature heat exchangers in Stirling-type pulse tube refrigerators. The experimental results summarized as the Nusselt number are presented for analysis. An increase in the pressure ratio can result in a marked rise in the Nusselt number, which indicates that the compression-expansion effect should be considered in characterizing the heat transfer of the oscillating flow, especially in the cases with a higher Valensi number and a lower maximum Reynolds number.展开更多

The entropy generation number due to heat transfer and fluid friction is formulated. The velocity and temperature distributions across the tube are presented along with pressure attributes. Exact analytical solution for velocity and temperature profile is obtained. It is found that the entropy generation number attains high values in the region close to the walls of the tube, while it falls to low values near the center of the tube.展开更多

It focuses on the controversial garment --called ren 衽-found pervasively in the Confucian canon and confirmed in archaeological findings. But for hundreds of years there have been disagreements and changes concerning which specific term is identified with which part of the robe, especially involving the use of ren in the scholar's robe. The bulk of my analysis deals with two prominent scholars' monographs on the robe: Huang Zongxi's Investigation of the Robe (Shenyi kao) and Jiang Yong's pointed rebuttal titled Mistakes in "Investigation of the R obe" ( Shenyi kao wu). The intellectual and political configurations of both works are analyzed in depth in order to contrast two options of cultural identity: Chinese superiority versus cosmopolitan universalism.展开更多
