The work of this paper analyzes the performance of Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) through actual data sets and determines the problem of computational efficiency. It corrects the error of the detection signal through the calibration function of the percentage signal change, and uses the three-dimensional sensor image reconstruction technology to calibrate the sensitivity of the blood to the magnetic change, enhances the sensitivity of the magnetic susceptibility gradient, and reduces the scanning time of the MRI experiment. The actual data set handles the image resolution. The performance and experimental results of SENSE are analyzed through actual data sets. 展开更多

Taking into account the demands of hyperspectral remote sensing(RS) image retrieval and processing, some encoding methods of spectral vector including direct encoding, feature-based encoding and tree-based encoding methods are proposed and compared. In direct encoding, based on the analysis of binary encoding and quad-value encoding, decimal encoding is proposed. It is proved that quad-value encoding and decimal encoding are suitable to fast processing and retrieval. In absorption feature-based encoding method, five common metrics are compared. Because locations of reflection/absorption features are sensitive to noise, this method is not very effective in retrieval. In tree-based encoding methods, bitree, quadtree, octree and hextree are proposed and discussed. It is proved that 2-level octree and 2-level hextree are more effective than bitree and quadtree. Finally, quad-value encoding, decimal encoding, 2-level octree and 2-level hextree are proposed in spectral vectors encoding, similarity measure and hyperspectral RS image retrieval. 展开更多

So, ozone sensing becomes very important, and convenient and accurate ozone sensor is required. A new high sensitivity ozone sensing system using an deep ultra-violet light emitting diode (DUV-LED) operated at the wavelength of 280 nm has been successfully constructed. The fabrication of diode operated at 280 nm is much easier than that of DUV-LED operated at Hg lamp wavelength of 254 nm. The system is compact and possible to sense the ozone concentration less than 0.1 ppm with an accuracy of 0.5% easily with low power DUV-LED of around 200 micro Watts operated at 280 nm without any data processing circuit. 展开更多

Surrogate models are usually used to perform global sensitivity analysis (GSA) by avoiding a large ensemble of deterministic simulations of the Monte Carlo method to provide a reliable estimate of GSA indices. However, most surrogate models such as polynomial chaos (PC) expansions suffer from the curse of dimensionality due to the high-dimensional input space. Thus, sparse surrogate models have been proposed to alleviate the curse of dimensionality. In this paper, three techniques of sparse reconstruc- tion are used to construct sparse PC expansions that are easily applicable to computing variance-based sensitivity indices (Sobol indices). These are orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP), spectral projected gradient for L1 minimization (SPGL1), and Bayesian compressive sensing with Laplace priors. By computing Sobol indices for several benchmark response models including the Sobol function, the Morris function, and the Sod shock tube problem, effective implementations of high-dimensional sparse surrogate construction are exhibited for GSA. 展开更多

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effect localized heating of the feet has on physiological and psychological reactions of female in an air-conditioned environment in summer. In Japan, female office workers wear less clothing than their male counterparts. In an air-conditioned office space in summer, female conducts thermoregulation by putting on cardigans, etc. but this action does not greatly contribute to improving conditions for the legs and feet, the lower extremities of the body. The improvement of sensational and physiological temperature by localized warming of the body can contribute to a healthy working environment for female office workers, their safety, and a reduction in air conditioning’s energy expenditure. We used the indoor thermal environment evaluation index ETF to investigate the effect localized heating of the feet has on human physiological and psychological response in an air-conditioned environment in summer. The result of heating by means of heat conduction via the sole of the foot was expressed more strongly as a psychological effect than as a whole-body physiological effect. Heating by means of heat conduction via the sole of the foot was a thermal environment factor that compensates for a low temperature in whole-body thermal sensation and whole-body thermal comfort. The effect of heating due to heat conduction via the sole of the foot was expressed in the change in sole-of- the-foot skin temperature. Applying slight heat conduction by means of heating via the sole of the foot demonstrated the result of improved whole-body thermal sensation and whole-body thermal comfort. 展开更多

Land degradation sensitivity assessment and convergence analysis in Korla of Xinjiang, China

In this study, the environmental sensitive area index(E... Land degradation has a major impact on environmental and socio-economic sustainability. Scientific methods are necessary to monitor the risk of land degradation. In this study, the environmental sensitive area index(ESAI) was utilized to assess land degradation sensitivity and convergence analysis in Korla, a typical oasis city in Xinjiang of China, which is located on the northeast border of the Tarim Basin. A total of 18 indicators depicting soil, climate, vegetation, and management qualities were used to illustrate spatial-temporal patterns of land degradation sensitivity from 1994 to 2018. We investigated the causes of spatial convergence and divergence based on the Ordinary Least Squares(OLS) and Geographically Weighted Regression(GWR) models. The results show that the branch of the Tianshan Mountains and oasis plain had a low sensitivity to land degradation, while the Tarim Basin had a high risk of land degradation. More than two-thirds of the study area can be categorized as "critical" sensitivity classes. The largest percentage(32.6%) of fragile classes was observed for 2006. There was no significant change in insensitive or low-sensitivity areas, which accounted for less than 0.4% of the entire observation period. The ESAI of the four time periods(1994–1998, 1998–2006, 2006–2010, and 2010–2018) formed a series of convergence patterns. The convergence patterns of 1994–1998 and 1998–2006 can be explained by the government's efforts to "Returning Farmland to Forests" and other governance projects. In 2006–2010, the construction of afforested work intensified, but industrial development and human activities affected the convergence pattern. The pattern of convergence in most regions between 2010 and 2018 can be attributed to the government's implementation of a series of key ecological protection projects, which led to a decrease in sensitivity to land degradation. The results of this study altogether suggest that the ESAI convergence analysis is an effective early warning method for land degradation sensitivity. 展开更多

目的探讨SENSE基础上扩散加权成像在诊断肝占位性病变中的应用价值以及表面扩散系数(ADC)评估肝占位病变的价值。方法对161例共有224个肝占位病灶患者在SENSE基础上行扩散加权成像。224个肝占位病灶中原发性肝癌80个,肝血管瘤45个,肝囊... 目的探讨SENSE基础上扩散加权成像在诊断肝占位性病变中的应用价值以及表面扩散系数(ADC)评估肝占位病变的价值。方法对161例共有224个肝占位病灶患者在SENSE基础上行扩散加权成像。224个肝占位病灶中原发性肝癌80个,肝血管瘤45个,肝囊肿49个,转移性肝癌50个。应用梯度因子b值为0和50的扩散图像,并获取ADC值。结果原发性肝癌、肝血管瘤、肝囊肿和转移性肝癌的平均ADC值分别为(0.99±0.33)×10-3mm2/s、(1.99±0.30)×10-3mm2/s、(3.80±0.37)×10-3mm2/s和(1.08±0.29)×10-3mm2/s,前三者差异有极显著性意义(P<0.01)。原发性肝癌和转移性肝癌之间差异无显著性意义(P>0.05)。结论SENSE基础上扩散加权平面回波成像对肝癌(包括原发性肝癌和转移性肝癌)、肝血管瘤和肝囊肿的鉴别诊断具有较高的价值。 展开更多

并行磁共振成像技术降低了采样时间,提高了成像速度和图像分辨率,但重建图像信噪比有所下降。为此提出了一种基于SENSE(Sensitivity Encoding)和GRAPPA(Gene Relized Autocalibrating Patially Parallel Acquisitions)的并行成像算法,... 并行磁共振成像技术降低了采样时间,提高了成像速度和图像分辨率,但重建图像信噪比有所下降。为此提出了一种基于SENSE(Sensitivity Encoding)和GRAPPA(Gene Relized Autocalibrating Patially Parallel Acquisitions)的并行成像算法,降低由于减少采样行而造成的信噪比损失。在采集较少K空间中心自标定(ACS)行基础上,先用GRAPPA算法拟合出更多中心数据估计得到较为精确的线圈灵敏度,采用共轭梯度法进行图像重建,得到质量较好的重建图像,进而结合估计的线圈灵敏度进行交替迭代优化,计算出误差较小、分辨率较高的最终重建图像。采用了不同加速因子的人脑磁共振K空间欠采样数据以验证该算法的重建性能。仿真实验结果表明,该算法重建出的MR图像从视觉效果上和定量对比结果上都优于已有算法。尤其是在加速因子较大、采样行数较少时可以重建出质量更高的磁共振图像,具有更低的归一化均方误差和更高的信噪比(能提高22%)。新算法降低K空间采样行的同时,提高了并行磁共振重建图像信噪比并降低了噪声干扰。 展开更多

Within the context of global change, marine sensitive factors or Marine Essential Climate Variables have been defined by many projects, and their sensitive spatial regions and time phases play significant roles in regional sea-air interactions and better understanding of their dynamic process. In this paper, we propose a cluster-based method for marine sensitive region extraction and representation. This method includes a kernel expansion algorithm for extracting marine sensitive regions, and a field-object triple form, integration of object-oriented and field-based model, for representing marine sensitive objects. Firstly, this method recognizes ENSO-related spatial patterns using empirical orthogonal decomposition of long term marine sensitive factors and correlation analysis with multiple ENSO index. The cluster kernel, defined by statistics of spatial patterns, is initialized to carry out spatial expansion and cluster mergence with spatial neighborhoods recursively, then all the related lattices with similar behavior are merged into marine sensitive regions. After this, the Field-object triple form of < O, A, F > is used to represent the marine sensitive objects, both with the discrete object with a precise extend and boundary, and the continuous field with variations dependent on spatial locations. Finally, the marine sensitive objects about sea surface temperature are extracted, represented and analyzed as a case of study, which proves the effectiveness and the efficiency of the proposed method. 展开更多

Quantum states are essential resource for quantum-enhanced applications.Loss incurred in the distribution channel,however,dissipates the high signal-to-noise ratio advantage enjoyed by the squeezed state.Here,we first demonstrate noise immunity enhancement by using phase-sensitive amplifier(PSA)with measurement-based noiseless linear amplifier(MB-NLA).We explore the signal transfer capability with the amplifier in a noisy channel.The MB-NLA enhanced PSA has obvious suppression effect on channel noises,especially it has improvement for the noise contaminated signal.Better performance can be achieved by flexibly adjusting amplifier parameters.With the amplifier,it is promising to overcome the entanglement-distribution loss and show its superiority in squeezing based quantum sensing. 展开更多

Pressure monitoring of a transformer oil tank can grasp the pressure change process caused by gas production when severe internal defects occur and take timely measures to ensure the safe operation of the transformer.Existing pressure sensors generally use metal encapsulation or have an air cavity structure,threatening the transformer’s insulation if it is directly used inside the transformer.To this end,this paper proposes a method for developing a high-sensitivity,large-range,and metallizationfree optical pressure sensing device with temperature compensation.Fiber grating is encapsulated by fluorosilicone rubber and supplemented by an epoxy resin shielding shell on the outside.At the same time,a double-grating vertical arrangement is adopted to improve pressure measurement sensitivity,further avoiding the influence of temperature rise caused by a defect of the transformer on the measurement result of the sensor.In addition,by optimizing the geometric structure of the internal sensitizing element,pre-stretching length of the fiber grating,gap distance,and other parameters,probe size can be reduced while ensuring the sensor’s performance.Results show the proposed method can meet the requirements of sensor fabrication with different sensitivities and ranges,and to a certain extent,both high sensitivity and extensive ranges can be taken into account.The sensitivity of the fabricated prototype is 15 pm/kPa,and the range is about 0.2 MPa.At the same time,the metal-free feature of the sensor makes it suitable for use in various oil-immersed power equipment.It records oil pressure changes caused by oil discharge breakdown,making it sensitive to small pressure changes in early failures. 展开更多

针对道路目标特点,设计实现了用于遥感影像道路提取的Encoder-Decoder深度语义分割网络。首先,针对道路目标局部特征丰富、语义特征较为简单的特点,设计了较浅深度、分辨率较高的Encoder-Decoder网络结构,提高了分割网络的细节表示能力... 针对道路目标特点,设计实现了用于遥感影像道路提取的Encoder-Decoder深度语义分割网络。首先,针对道路目标局部特征丰富、语义特征较为简单的特点,设计了较浅深度、分辨率较高的Encoder-Decoder网络结构,提高了分割网络的细节表示能力。其次,针对遥感影像中道路目标所占像素比例较小的特点,改进了二分类交叉熵损失函数,解决了网络训练中正负样本严重失衡的问题。在大型道路提取数据集上的试验表明,所提方法召回率、精度和F1-score指标分别达到了83.9%、82.5%及82.9%,能够完整准确地提取遥感影像中的道路目标。所设计的Encoder-Decoder网络性能优良,且不需人工设计提取特征,因而具有良好的应用前景。 展开更多

We study the extended gate ion sensitive structure,and deposit the titanium oxide (TiO_2) thin film on p-type (100) silicon substrate.The device of the hydrogen ion sensing structure is TiO_2/Si-substrate,and a commercial device of the metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) is connected to the separative sensing device.The sensitivity and linearity are measured under different work pressures.When the mixed ratio of Ar/O_2 is 80 ml·min^(-1)/20 ml·min^(-1),the work pressure is 4 Pa,the sputtering power is 150 W,and the sputtering time is two hours,the better sensing properties of the sensitivity and linearity are 36.49 mV/pH and 0.99654,respectively.However,some instruments are analyzed the surface of TiO_2 membrane,such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Auger Electron Spectrometer (AES).The characteristics of TiO_2 thin film can be demonstrated. 展开更多

Sensors play an important role in shaping and monitoring human health.Exploration of methods to use Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG)with enhanced sensitivity has attracted great interest in the field of medical research.In this paper,a novel apodization function is proposed and performance evaluation and optimization of the same have been made.A comparison was conducted between various existing apodization functions and the proposed one based on optical characteristics and sensor parameters.The results evince the implementation of the proposed apodization function for vital sign measurement.The optical characteristics considered for evaluation are Peak Resonance Reflectivity level,Side Lobes Reflectivity level and FullWidth HalfMaximum(FWHM).The proposed novel apodization novel function has better FWHM,which is narrower than the FWHM of uniform FBG.Sensor characteristics like a quality parameter,detection accuracy and sensitivity also show improvement.The proposed novel apodization function is demonstrated to have a better shift in wavelength in terms of temperature and pulse measurement than the existing functions.The sensitivity of the proposed apodized function is enhanced with a Poly-dimethylsiloxane coating of varying thickness,which is 6 times and 5.14 times greater than uniform Fiber Bragg grating and FBG with the proposed novel apodization function,respectively,enhancing its utilization in the field of medicine. 展开更多

Since Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) generates a massive quantity of the multimedia data, it becomes a part of IoMT,which are commonly employed in diverse application areas, especially forcapturing remote sensing (RS) images. At the same time, the interpretationof the captured RS image also plays a crucial issue, which can be addressedby the multi-label classification and Computational Linguistics based imagecaptioning techniques. To achieve this, this paper presents an efficient lowcomplexity encoding technique with multi-label classification and image captioning for UAV based RS images. The presented model primarily involves thelow complexity encoder using the Neighborhood Correlation Sequence (NCS)with a burrows wheeler transform (BWT) technique called LCE-BWT forencoding the RS images captured by the UAV. The application of NCS greatlyreduces the computation complexity and requires fewer resources for imagetransmission. Secondly, deep learning (DL) based shallow convolutional neural network for RS image classification (SCNN-RSIC) technique is presentedto determine the multiple class labels of the RS image, shows the novelty ofthe work. Finally, the Computational Linguistics based Bidirectional EncoderRepresentations from Transformers (BERT) technique is applied for imagecaptioning, to provide a proficient textual description of the RS image. Theperformance of the presented technique is tested using the UCM dataset. Thesimulation outcome implied that the presented model has obtained effectivecompression performance, reconstructed image quality, classification results,and image captioning outcome. 展开更多
