The attenuation factor or quality factor(Q-factor or Q) has been used to measure the energy attenuation of seismic waves propagating in underground media. Many methods are used to estimate the Q-factor. We propose a method to calculate the Q-factor based on the prestack Q-factor inversion and the generalized S-transform. The proposed method specifies a standard primary wavelet and calculates the cumulative Q-factors; then, it finds the interlaminar Q-factors using the relation between Q and offset(QVO) and the Dix formula. The proposed method is alternative to methods that calculate interlaminar Q-factors after horizon picking. Because the frequency spectrum of each horizon can be extracted continuously on a 2D time–frequency spectrum, the method is called the continuous spectral ratio slope(CSRS) method. Compared with the other Q-inversion methods, the method offers nearly effortless computations and stability, and has mathematical and physical significance. We use numerical modeling to verify the feasibility of the method and apply it to real data from an oilfield in Ahdeb, Iraq. The results suggest that the resolution and spatial stability of the Q-profile are optimal and contain abundant interlaminar information that is extremely helpful in making lithology and fluid predictions. 展开更多

The stability study of the ongoing and recurring Amalpata landslide in Baglung in Nepal’s Gandaki Province is presented in this research. The impacted slope is around 200 meters high, with two terraces that have different slope inclinations. The lower bench, located above the basement, consistently fails and sets others up for failure. The fluctuating water level of the slope, which travels down the slope masses, exacerbates the slide problem. The majority of these rocks are Amalpata landslide area experiences several structural disruptions. The area’s stability must be evaluated in order to prevent and control more harm from occurring to the nearby agricultural land and people living along the slope. The slopes’ failures increase the damages of house existing in nearby area and the erosion of the slope. Two modeling techniques the finite element approach and the limit equilibrium method were used to simulate the slope. The findings show that, in every case, the terrace above the basement is where the majority of the stress is concentrated, with a safety factor of near unity. Using probabilistic slope stability analysis, the failure probability was predicted to be between 98.90% and 100%. 展开更多

In this paper, the ring-type ingot of hypereutectic high Cr cast iron was obtained by slope cooling bodycentrifugal casting method (SC-CCM), and its microstructure and impact toughness were investigated, respectively. The results indicated that, first, the primary carbides in the microstructure are prominently finer than those in the hypereutectic high Cr cast iron prepared by conventional casting method. Second, in the ring-type ingot, the primary carbides near radial outer field are finer than those near radial inner field; furthermore, there is dividing field in the microstructure. Finally, the impact toughness values of the specimens impacted on the radial outer face and on the radial inner face are improved respectively about 36% and 138% more than that of the hypereutectic high Cr one prepared by conventional casting method. 展开更多

In order to study the stability control mechanism of a concave slope with circular landslide, and remove the influence of differences in shape on slope stability, the limit analysis method of a simplified Bishop method was employed. The sliding body was divided into strips in a three-dimensional model, and the lateral earth pressure was put into mechanical analysis and the three-dimensional stability analysis methods applicable for circular sliding in concave slope were deduced. Based on geometric structure and the geological parameters of a concave slope, the influence rule of curvature radius and the top and bottom arch height on the concave slope stability were analyzed. The results show that the stability coefficient decreases after growth, first in the transition stage of slope shape from flat to concave, and it has been confirmed that there is a best size to make the slope stability factor reach a maximum. By contrast with average slope, the stability of a concave slope features a smaller range of ascension with slope height increase, which indicates that the enhancing effect of a concave slope is apparent only with lower slope heights. 展开更多

The governing equation is discretized by the finite difference method. Based on the BI-CGSTAB technique, an attractive variant bf BI-Conjugate Gradients (BI-CG) method, the obtained linear algebraic system of equations is solved. Numerical experiments show that the BI-CGSTAB method is efficient for solving the elliptic mild slope equation. The results obtained by the BI-CGSTAB-Based method are much the same as those obtained by other authors with different solution methods, but the convergence rate is much faster than that of other methods. 展开更多

The vibration characteristics and dynamic responses of rock and soil under seismic load can be estimated with dynamic finite element method (DFEM). Combining with the DFEM, the vector sum analysis method (VSAM) is employed in seismic stability analysis of a slope in this paper. Different from other conventional methods, the VSAM is proposed based on the vector characteristic of force and current stress state of the slope. The dynamic stress state of the slope at any moment under seismic load can he obtained by the DFEM, thus the factor of safety of the slope at any moment during earthquake can be easily obtained with the VSAM in consideration of the DFEM. Then, the global stability of the slope can be estimated on the basis of time-history curve of factor of safety and reliability theory. The VSAM is applied to a homogeneous slope under seismic load. The factor of safety of the slope is 1.30 under gravity only and the dynamic factor of safety under seismic load is 1.21. The calculating results show that the dynamic characteristics and stability state of the slope with input ground motion can be actually analyzed. It is believed that the VSAM is a feasible and practical approach to estimate the dynamic stability of slopes under seismic load. 展开更多

However, major disadvanta... Since 1930, the analysis of slope stability is done according to the limit equilibrium approach. Several methods were developed of which certain remain applicable because of their simplicity. However, major disadvantages of these methods are (1) they do not take into account the soil behavior and (2) the complex cases cannot be studied with precision. The use of the finite elements in calculations of stability has to overcome the weakness of the traditional methods. An analysis of stability was applied to a slope, of complex geometry, composed of alternating sandstone and marls using finite elements and limit equilibrium methods. The calculation of the safety factors did not note any significant difference between the two approaches. Various calculations carried out illustrate perfectly benefits that can be gained from modeling the behavior by the finite elements method. In the finite elements analysis, the shape of deformations localization in the slope is nearly circular and confirms the shape of the failure line which constitutes the basic assumption of the analytical methods. The integration of the constitutive laws of soils and the use of field’s results tests in finite elements models predict the failure mode, to better approach the real behavior of slope soil formations and to optimize its reinforcement. 展开更多

岩崩坡面撞击破碎是运动轨迹难以预测的重要原因,其中坡体几何特征是影响破碎块体运动变化特征的关键因素。为了研究岩崩撞击破碎过程及坡体几何特征对岩崩块体运动特征的影响,利用离散单元法(PFC^(2D))模拟技术,通过统计典型岩崩灾害... 岩崩坡面撞击破碎是运动轨迹难以预测的重要原因,其中坡体几何特征是影响破碎块体运动变化特征的关键因素。为了研究岩崩撞击破碎过程及坡体几何特征对岩崩块体运动特征的影响,利用离散单元法(PFC^(2D))模拟技术,通过统计典型岩崩灾害点岩体结构与坡体几何特征,建立了岩崩自由落体-撞击破碎-运动堆积模型,剖析了在不同坠落高度、撞击角度条件下岩崩坡面撞击碎裂过程,获得了块体运动速度、裂纹数量和冲击力变化曲线,同时采用双参数Weibull分布对碎裂块体破碎程度进行了描述。实验结果表明:破裂过程分为接触-解体、挤压-碎裂及独立运动3个阶段;岩体碎裂由撞击点开始,沿结构面先出现解体,再产生新断裂面的岩石破碎;块体速度、裂纹数量和冲击力的骤变均发生在接触-解体与挤压-碎裂阶段,块体速度骤降,呈现出“阶梯效应”,冲击力骤升,表现为“双峰现象”,同时随着坠落高度增加或撞击角度减小,“阶梯效应”与“双峰现象”更为明显;同一撞击角度条件下,坠落高度的增加使得撞击动能增加,进而增大了破碎程度,导致粒径分布范围与特征粒径尺寸的减小;同一坠落高度下,撞击角度的增加,意味着接触面积的减小,进而降低了破碎程度,导致粒径分布范围与特征粒径尺寸的增大。研究成果对揭示岩崩坡面撞击碎裂机理及预测块体运动轨迹提供了技术支撑。 展开更多

地聚物固化黄土力学性能及边坡稳定性研究

研究以中国西北地区近年来黄土路基滑坡为背景.通过击实试验和直剪试验,测得不同地聚物掺量下固化土的试验数据,并通过扫描电镜(SEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)对钢渣-粉煤灰地聚物固化土进行微观结构分析,同时结合pF-Meter仪器测定不同地聚物掺... 研究以中国西北地区近年来黄土路基滑坡为背景.通过击实试验和直剪试验,测得不同地聚物掺量下固化土的试验数据,并通过扫描电镜(SEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)对钢渣-粉煤灰地聚物固化土进行微观结构分析,同时结合pF-Meter仪器测定不同地聚物掺量下固化土的基质吸力与体积含水率.后基于强度折减法,将试验数据代入COMSOL Multiphysics中,通过饱和-非饱和理论的Richards方程,建立固化黄土路基边坡有限元模型.分析降雨前后路基层中地聚物掺入量和坡比对路基边坡的整体稳定性的影响.结果表明:当固化土中地聚物掺入量为25%时,内摩擦角为31.2°,内摩擦角增幅相比于重塑黄土提高了62.5%.随着地聚物掺入量的增加,黏聚力呈现出先升后降的趋势,当地聚物掺入量为20%时达到最高峰,为81.09 kPa,相比于重塑黄土提高了75.86%.路基边坡的稳定性随着地聚物掺入量的增加先上升后下降,随着坡比减小而上升.在特定条件下,边坡稳定性会随着降雨时间的延长而降低,随着降雨强度的增大而减小. 展开更多

Prediction on the coupled thermal-hydraulic fields of embankment and cutting slopes is essential to the assessment on evolution of melting zone and natural permafrost table, which is usually a key factor for permafrost embankment design in frozen ground regions. The prediction may be further complicated due to the inherent uncertainties of material properties. Hence, stochastic analyses should be conducted. Firstly, Karhunen-Loeve expansion is applied to attain the random fields for hydraulic and thermal conductions. Next, the mixed-form modified Richards equation for mass transfer (i.e., mass equation) and the heat transport equation for heat transient flow in a variably saturated frozen soil are combined into one equation with temperature unknown. Furthermore, the finite element formulation for the coupled thermal-hydraulic fields is derived. Based on the random fields, the stochastic finite element analyses on stability of embankment are carried out. Numerical results show that stochastic analyses of embankment stability may provide a more rational picture for the distribution of factors of safety (FOS), which is definitely useful for embankment design in frozen ground regions. 展开更多

The searching method of failure surface which consists of complex geological structures in high and steep rock slopes was studied. Based on computer simulation technology and Monte-Carlo method, three dimensional multi-scale geological structures such as engineering scale and statistical scale structures of the slope were simulated. The searching method of failure route which consists of joints and rock bridges was determined via simulation annealing method by considering the shear strength of joints or rock bridges in one supposed route. When shear strengths of all the supposed routes were computed, the least shear strength route was considered failure route. Then, the inclined slice of joint slices and rock bridge slices were separated according to the position of joints and rock bridges. For the rock bridge slices, by distinguishing the failure model, the force direction to the next slice was defined. Finally, the limit equilibrium equations for every slice were established, and the slope stability factor was obtained. One practical example indicates that the discussed method is more closely to the real condition. 展开更多

为解决高海拔高寒地区斜井施工存在气压低、含氧量低、温差大、严寒干燥等问题,以某高海拔铁路隧道斜井工程为背景,结合围岩等级、断面大小、海拔高度,根据斜井施工机械化配套原则,提出高海拔陡坡长斜井机械化安全快速进洞施工工法,并... 为解决高海拔高寒地区斜井施工存在气压低、含氧量低、温差大、严寒干燥等问题,以某高海拔铁路隧道斜井工程为背景,结合围岩等级、断面大小、海拔高度,根据斜井施工机械化配套原则,提出高海拔陡坡长斜井机械化安全快速进洞施工工法,并选配超前支护、钻爆、装运、喷锚支护、衬砌等机械化作业线的成套设备。基于高度机械化的设备配套,提出“快挖、快运、快支”的高效施工技术以及各工序快速衔接工艺。以控制围岩变形为核心,构建一套积极干预加固围岩、注重早期支护并快速闭合的主动支护体系。结果表明:与普通钻爆法施工相比,采用三臂凿岩台车高度机械化配套施工效率高,月最快进尺为180 m,较人工钻爆法施工月进尺为130 m相比提高了近30%,施工质量稳定,作业人员投入少,且拱顶沉降和周边收敛均小于规范要求值,衬砌强度可靠,可实现高海拔小断面隧道“快挖、快支、主动支、快封闭”。 展开更多

以都安高速公路某段含软弱夹层顺层岩质边坡为例,采用极限平衡法对开挖后的边坡进行稳定性分析,基于FLAC3D软件模拟分析边坡分级开挖、分级支护过程中的位移、最大剪切应变增量、应力特征及抗滑桩的承载性能。结果表明:严格条分法的安... 以都安高速公路某段含软弱夹层顺层岩质边坡为例,采用极限平衡法对开挖后的边坡进行稳定性分析,基于FLAC3D软件模拟分析边坡分级开挖、分级支护过程中的位移、最大剪切应变增量、应力特征及抗滑桩的承载性能。结果表明:严格条分法的安全系数为1.011,强度折减法安全系数为条分法的97.13%,当考虑岩土体变形时,传统计算方法可能会高估边坡自身的稳定性;边坡采用抗滑桩+框架锚索+框架锚杆的联合支护方式,并进行分步开挖及分级支护,对坡体扰动小,支护效果良好,能很好地控制坡体变形,避免边坡因软弱夹层塑性区贯通而发生失稳破坏。 展开更多
