In the smart...In order to expand the natural energy and the energy conservation, "the smart PV (photovoltaic power generation) & EV (electric vehicle) system" has been proposed and the effect has been clarified. In the smart PV & EV system, it is important that electric vehicles become popular. Therefore, the AI-EV (air-conditioner integrated electric vehicle) has been proposed. In this paper, the AI-EV is designed based on the required car air-conditioner capacity. And, the value of AI-EV is compared with a gasoline vehicle, HV (hybrid vehicle) and EV using the mathematical simulation model As a result, it is clarified that the minimum displacement of the small-engine is 120 cc for AI-EV. In the smart PV & EV system, AI-EV can reduce CO_2 emissions by 20% almost the same as EV. Additionally, AI-EV is able to gain the cruising range more than twice as long as EV.展开更多

The rapid growth of distributed renewable energy penetration is promoting the evolution of the energy system toward decentralization and decentralized and digitized smart grids.This study was based on energy blockchai...The rapid growth of distributed renewable energy penetration is promoting the evolution of the energy system toward decentralization and decentralized and digitized smart grids.This study was based on energy blockchain,and developed a dual-biding mechanism based on the real-time energy surplus and demand in the local smart grid,which is expected to enable reliable,affordable,and clean energy supply in smart communities.In the proposed system,economic benefits could be achieved by replacing fossil-fuel-based electricity with the high penetration of affordable solar PV electricity.The reduction of energy surplus realized by distributed energy production and P2P energy trading,within the smart grid results in less transmission loss and lower requirements for costly upgrading of existing grids.By adopting energy blockchain and smart contract technologies,energy secure trading with a low risk of privacy leakage could be accommodated.The prototype is examined through a case study,and the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed mechanism are further validated by scenario analysis.展开更多

Information and communication technologies, which enable information exchange between power grid and power consumers, are critical components in smart grid. For millions of residents to interact with smart grid in the...Information and communication technologies, which enable information exchange between power grid and power consumers, are critical components in smart grid. For millions of residents to interact with smart grid in the future, there should be an economical and practical schedule to realize the information exchange in low voltage. In this paper, an autonomously developed smart grid product, the optical fiber composite low voltage cable (OPLC), is introduced. OPLC has brought simultaneous transmission of power flow and information flow into reality and solved the high-speed and reliable terminal broadband access problem in the 400 volts power grid. By adopting OPLC and advanced information and communication technologies, such as network security isolation equipment and ethernet passive optical network (EPON), power fiber to the home (PFTTH) (a new network structure from low voltage side of distribution transformer to the household) is presented. The typical application in the smart grid community based on PFTTH shows that PFTTH can integrate electric network businesses and public network businesses in the same cable. The pilots of smart grid communities prove PFTTH is successful in smart grid application, and is an effective and attractive way for the co-development of energy and information.展开更多
The development of digital technology and the construction of smart cities urge service enterprises to seek competitive advantages by building smart service brands.However,there are few studies explore the brand value...The development of digital technology and the construction of smart cities urge service enterprises to seek competitive advantages by building smart service brands.However,there are few studies explore the brand value,brand strategies,and corresponding business strategies of smart service providers from the financial perspective.This paper selects listed property companies from China as the sample and explores the value of the smart community service brand of property enterprises based on the observation data.This research introduces the market value measurement index(Tobin q)and discounted cash flow model(DCF)to explore the influence of diversified brand strategies through combining smart brand strategy with naming strategies and business strategies on brand value.The results show that smart community service brand has a significant impact on firms'market value.Compared with the brand extension strategy,the adoption of brand renewal strategy will significantly affect market value.Further,the development of smart value-added services by enterprises will exert a positive impact on their market value.However,the stakeholders are not optimistic about smart technical services by property companies,which could reduce shareholders'expectations of the market value of enterprises.展开更多
