The specific case here considered is the “bipolar disorder”, in which the adoption of three different drugs is the most common practice, although with a possible differentiation between the prescription in the morning and in the evening, respectively. Thus, the proposed methodology will consider the Ordinal Interactions between the various drugs by evaluating their combined effects, which will result as being not a simple additive “sum”, because they are evaluated on the basis of the Maximum Ordinality Principle (MOP) and, in addition, in Adherence to the Explicit Solution to the “Three-Body Problem”. In this way the Methodology here proposed is able to suggest how to account for the synergistic effects of the various drugs, especially when the latter are characterized by different concentrations and, at the same time, by generally different half-lives respectively.展开更多

Through stress analysis of the element with variable strength and stiffness extracted from the strong-weak interface, the tri-axial compressive strength of the weak body and strong body near the interface as well as the areas away from the contact surface was found. Then, on the basis of three-dimensional fast Lagrangian method of continua and strain softening constitutive model composed of Coulomb-Mohr shear failure with tensile cut-off, stress and strain relationship of the four three-body combined models were analyzed under different confining pressures by numerical simulation. Finally, the different features of local shear zones and plastic failure areas of the four different models and their development trend with increasing confining pressure were discussed. The results show that additional stresses are derived due to the lateral deformation constraints near the strong-weak interface area, which results in the strength increasing in weak body and strength decreasing in strong body. The weakly consolidated soft rock and coal cementation exhibit significant strain softening behavior and bear compound tension-shear failure under uni-axial compression. With the increase of confining pressure, the tensile failure disappears from the model, and the failure type of composed model changes to local shear failure with different number of shearing bands and plastic failure zones. This work shows important guiding significance for the mechanism study of seismic, rock burst, and coal bump.展开更多

The spectrum of the low-energy excitation and the effective potential for the width of the condensate axe obtained. The results show that: (i) the repulsive two-body interaction among atoms makes the frequency red-shifted for the internal excitation and the repulsive or attractive three-body interaction always makes it blue-shifted; (ii) the region for the existence of the stable bound states is obtained by identifying the critical value of the two- and three-body interactions.展开更多

By properly adjusting the two- and three-body interactions and the disorder, the coherence of the system exhibits new and interesting phenomena, including the resonance character of coherence against the disorder in the purely two- or three-body interactions system. More interestingly, the disorder and three-body interactions together can suppress the coherence of the purely three-body interactions system, which is different from the case in which the disorder and two-body interactions together can enhance the coherence in certain values of two.body interaction. Furthermore, when two- or three- body interactions are attractive or repulsive, the phase coherence exhibits completely different phenomena. In particular, if two- or three-body interactions are attractive, the coherence of the system can be significantly enhanced in certain regions. Correspondingly, the phase coherence of the system is strongly related to the effective interaction energy. The results provide a possible way for studying the coherence of bosonic gas with multi-atoms' interactions in the presence of the disorder.展开更多

Both the terms due to oblateness of the smaller primary are considered. Numerical as well as analytical solutions are obtained around the Lagrangian point L1, which lies between the primaries, of the Sun-Earth system. A comparison with the real time flight data of SOHO mission is made. Inclusion of oblateness of the smaller primary can improve the accuracy. A detailed method was designed to fabricate physical scale-model specimens for testing. Three types of specimens were constructed to investigate how three different materials reacted to each other under load. The three types of specimens were called the weak-rock model, hard-rock model and mixed model. The results of uniaxial compression tests show that the mechanical behaviour of a three-body structural support is closely related to the interaction between the three bodies, but owing to different mechanisms, the three types of material behave very differently. To explain the test results, numerical simulations were conducted to explore fully the load responses of the three-body model specimens. To this end, we numerically solve the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and then the corresponding Bogoliubov equations. Our results show that three-body interactions can change both the Bogoliubov band structure and the dynamical structure factor dramatically, especially in the case of the two-body interaction being relatively small. Furthermore, when the optical lattice is strong enough, the analytical results, combined with the sum-rule approach, help us to understand that: the effects of three-body interactions on the static structure Ihctor can be significantly amplified by an optical lattice. Our predictions should be observable within the current Bragg spectroscopy experiment.展开更多

The results show that the coupling strength between two atoms, the decay cavity and the atomic spontaneous emission can change the entanglement of formation according to different modes: these factors destroy periodicity and symmetry of all concurrences, and that the coupling strength of two atoms does not change the peak value of concurrence (C), but the strength of decay cavity and the atomic spontaneous emission decline in the peak value of concurrence (C) and the latter is more serious than the former under the same strengths. The concurrence vector and subvector are a useful measure of entanglement for a pure state of the many-body system, in that it can give novel pictures about the entanglements for the entire system and between its inner bodies.展开更多

In the present calculation, the rearrangement contribution of three-body force is considered, which will reduce the neutron and proton effective mass, and depress the amplitude of cross section. The effect of three body force is shown to be repulsive, especially in high densities and large momenta, which will suppress the cross section markedly.

文摘We investigate how three-body interactions affect the elementary excitations and dynamic structure factor of a Bose- Einstein condensate trapped in a one-dimensional optical lattice. Our predictions should be observable within the current Bragg spectroscopy experiment.
文摘After briefly introducing Akhtarshenas, concurrence vector and subvector for describing many-body entanglement, we investigate the entanglement formation for a system which contains three bodies, i.e. two identical atoms and a single- model cavity field, in the Tavis-Cummings model by calculating the concurrences. The concurrence vector and subvector are a useful measure of entanglement for a pure state of the many-body system, in that it can give novel pictures about the entanglements for the entire system and between its inner bodies.

文摘Model predictive control(MPC)has been widely used in process industry, but its appli-cations to missile guidance law are relatively rare.In this paper,MPC is introduced to design defen-sive guidance law in a three-body engagement, where a defending missile(i.e.,defender)is employed to protect a target aircraft from an attacking missile.Based on nonlinear kinematic equa-tions,an explicit linear discrete-time model is derived as the predictive model. Then the defensive guidance problem is formulated as a quadratic programming problem, and a fast algorithm for the MPC guidance law is developed. The advantages of the MPC guidance law include the applicabil-ity to scenarios with unknown guidance strategy of attacking missile, nonlinear kinematics and mul-tiple constraints.Another key feature is that the proposed approach does not require alteration in the target maneuver.Simulation results show that the MPC guidance law works well and can meet real-time requirements.
