Underground railway vibration source strength is one of the key values used for environmental impact assessment and the evaluation of mitigation measure’s performance.However,currently there is no international standard of measuring the underground railway vibration source strength for such purposes.The available local standards and industrial guidelines do not agree on measurement locations as well as the metrics for presenting the source strength.This has caused many confusions.This paper aims to study the suitable measurement location and metrics using the data from a large scale field-testing carried out at the Nanchang underground railway(Metro Line 1,China)in 2017.200 passing trains were recorded during the test at two different sections of the railway line,one with the spring floating slab installed and the other without.Three locations were chosen at each section,including one in the middle of the track and two on the tunnel wall at different heights.Based on the results of statistical analysis,the maximum of z-weighted vertical vibration level(VLzmax)obtained at a lower measurement location on the tunnel wall is the best for representing the underground railway vibration source strength,which is 76.66 dB obtained from this study. 展开更多

The challenges we are faced with in localizing objects are the complex environments,such as tunnels,high-rise areas and underground parking lots.This paper develops a bionic vibration source localization device to estimate the direction of the object which is inspired by the unique and precise hunting localization mechanism of scorpions.The localization device uses the sensor array,which is patterned after the scorpions5 biological sensory structure,and imitates the coding mode of scorpions,sensory neurons for determination of the prey(vibration source)bearing.To verify the effectiveness of the localization device,some experiments were performed through real collected vibration signals.The Average Estimated Error(AEE)and the Relative Estimated Error(REE)of the experimental results were calculated to be 3.64°土2.44°and-1.43°±4.14°,respectively.It indicates that the device has a good performance to estimate the bearings of vibration sources at different distances and azimuths.This bionic localization device lays the foundation for the development of locating the moving object in some special conditions. 展开更多

One of the key technologies for optical fiber vibration pre-warning system (OFVWS) refers to identifying the vibration source accurately from the detected vibration signals. Because of many kinds of vibration sources and complex geological structures, the implement of identifying vibration sources presents some interesting challenges which need to be overcome in order to achieve acceptable performance. This paper mainly conducts on the time domain and frequency domain analysis of the vibration signals detected by the OFVWS and establishes attribute feature models including an energy information entropy model to identify raindrop vibration source and a fundamental frequency model to distinguish the construction machine and train or car passing by. Test results show that the design and selection of the feature model are reasonable, and the rate of identification is good. 展开更多

Considering the internal impedance of the source, a general model is here proposed, and the generalized transfer equations of the system and the closed form solutions for power flow in the fiexible system are then developed, with which the effects of the source characteristics on power flow transmission are discussed. The investigation shows that when the source and receiver impedances are comparable, substantial error can occur in the power flow estimation if the source is assumed to be an ideal constant force source (CFS)or a constant velocity source (CVS). 展开更多

Ground-borne vibrations caused by vibration sources such as road traffic and construction exhibit complicated properties during propagation from the vibration source to the inside of a building. In the present paper, a numerical analysis technique for the system of vibration source and propagation path of ground vibration is developed in order to systematically determine the propagation properties of the vibration as part of developing a predictive technique for exposure evaluations by vibrations in three directions at receiving points of vibration in the human body. First, the exciting forces in three directions for input into the numerical computation are inversely-estimated by using the measured acceleration rec- ords of the measurement points, which are near the vibration source. The thin-layered element method is used for numerical computation of the ground vibration. Then, the calculation results for the ground vibration obtained by using the estimated exciting force are compared with the measured results, and the influence of the stratified structure of the ground on the exciting force and the propagation properties of the ground vibration are studied. From these results, in a prediction of the ground vibration in three directions, it is emphasized that it is necessary to consider the influence of horizontal exciting force, although attention has been paid to only the vertical exciting force for simulating ground vibration. 展开更多

Inversion of excitation source in ground vibration from urban railway traffic 被引量:5

The inversion methodology ... Urban trains running on ground surface lead to evironmental ground vibrations in the vicinity of railwaylines. The complicated vibration source of the system can hardly be measured directly. The inversion methodology in engineering seismology is borrowed here to study the dynamic exciting sourec, i.e., the wheel-rail unevenness. A dynamic coupled train-track-3D ground model is combined with a genetic algorithm for the inversion. The solution space of the inversion variables, the objective function and the solving genetic strategy of the inversion are determined, and a joint inversion for the wheel-rail unevenness source function and some track structure parameters is therefore designed. The wheel-rail unevenness PSD, being the source function of No. 13 Beijing urban railway, is obtained by the inversoin based on observed data in the field. The result indicates that the source function discribes the track unevenness in the range of wavelength over 1.2 m, and reflects properly wheel irregularites in the range of wavelength shorter than 1.2 m. It should be noticed that the urban rail traffic is not very fast, and this range of short wavelength is exactly corresponding to the main frequency band of environmental vibrations from the traffic. The unevenness of wavelength under 1.2 m is underestimated, and the ground vibration in the main frequency band must be underestimated consequently, if the track unevenness spectrum is taken as the source function. Rather than the track spectrum reflecting just the evenness of track, the wheel-rail spectrum expresses both the track unevenness and the irregularities of wheels, and therefore is more suitable to be the source function of urban railway traffic. It is also convinced that the exciting source inversion according to observed ground vibrations is an effective way to detect quantitatively the combined wheel-rail unevenness. 展开更多

The partial coherence analysis is the effective method of vibration source identification in multiple input single output systems.Formerly, there was not any this kind of function in the signal processor, and there was not any special software too. The software which we developed and used in the 7T 17S signal processor has this function. This software can be used not only for the partial and multiple coherence analysis of signal, but also for the correlation analysis, power spectrum analysis, transfer function analysis et al.We used this software to make the identifcation of the vibration source of the car floor board of electrical measuring vehicle, and to find the main factors which effect the vibration of the car board.The excellent result was obtained.
