The paper studies on relations between railway rolling stock and peripheral interfaces in Japanese railways.It covers the relations between wheel and rail,the relations between pantograph and catenary,the air dynamics...The paper studies on relations between railway rolling stock and peripheral interfaces in Japanese railways.It covers the relations between wheel and rail,the relations between pantograph and catenary,the air dynamics,track circuit and noise,etc.In the study on relations between wheel and rail,the adhesive property between wheel and rail,the lubrication of wheel and rail and wear reduction between wteel flange and inner rail corner were analyzed.In the study on relations between pantograph and catenary,the author focused on the contact status between the pantograph and catenary,e.g.,how to minimize the variation of the contact force,causes of the variation and the protection measures.In dynamics study,Increase of rolling stock shock in tunnels and shock absorption measures are analyzed.In track circuit study,reduction of wheel/rail contact resistance is analyzed.In noise study,causes of rolling noise and structural noise as well as the numerical value module are analyzed.展开更多
Along with the increasing velocity and high speed development of railway,many questions have emerged,such as the aggravating abrasion in vehicle-track system,fatigue failure in key components,as well as the noises etc...Along with the increasing velocity and high speed development of railway,many questions have emerged,such as the aggravating abrasion in vehicle-track system,fatigue failure in key components,as well as the noises etc.After summarizing pinety of technique literatures,it′s found that dynamic research of vehicle-track system in high,intermediate and low frequency spectrum must be carried out.Only suing the traditional methods and without analyzing the essentiality of problems,these rising questions will not be solved reasonably.Rolated theories and experiments show that,by the difference of excitation and wavelength the complete vehicle-track system dynamics should be divided into three frequency spectrums:high,intermediate and low frequency respectively.According to the character and frequency of the three different speetrums,the dynamic model can be set up to meet the research requirements and can be solved using appropriate mathematic technique.In this way,full vehicle-track system dynamic research can be conducted based on the system frequency character.And reasonable model can be developed,which is significant to develop the high-speed railways.展开更多
