Seismic attributes optimization and application in reservoir prediction

Petroleum geophysicists recognize that many parameters related to oil and gas reservoirs are predicted using seismic attribute data. However, how best to optimize the seismic attributes, predict the character of thin sandstone reservoirs, and enhance the reservoir description accuracy is an important goal for geologists and geophysicists. Based on the theory of main component analysis, we present a new optimization method, called constrained main component analysis. Modeling estimates and real application in an oilfield show that it can enhance reservoir prediction accuracy and has better applicability.

Treatment of Prolapse of Rectum with Acupuncture Combined with TCM Drugs in 38 Cases

Prolapse of rectum usually occurs in the children with insufficient qi and blood, in the elders with declined qi and blood or deficiency of qi in the middle jiao (burner), in the women who made qi exhausted during labor resulting in deficiency of qi and blood, and in those with chronic diarrhea, habitual constipation and long-standing cough. Seismic identification of channel sandbodies in the Fuyang oil layer in North Songliao Basin, China

The Fuyang oil-layer in North Songliao Basin is characterized by thin interbedded sands and shales, strong lateral variation, strong reservoir heterogeniety, and so on. The thickness of individual sand layers is generally 3 - 5 m. Identifying the channel sand-bodies of the Fuyang oil layer using seismic techniques is very difficult due to the low seismic resolution. Taking the GTZ area as an example, we discuss the genetic characteristics of the channel sand-bodies and point out the real difficulty in using seismic techniques to predict the channel sand-bodies. Two methods for the identification of channels are presented： frequency spectrum imaging and pre-stack azimuthal anisotropy. Identifying the channel sand-bodies in Fuyu oil-layer using the two seismic methods results in a success rate up to 80% compared with well data.

Regulatory polymorphism of CXCL10 rs1439490 in seronegative occult hepatitis C virus infection

AIM To examine the relationship between the single nucleotide polymorphism CXCL10 rs1439490 and seronegative occult hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection(OCI).METHODS One hundred and three cases of seronegative OCI and 155 cases of seropositive chronic HCV infection(CHC) were diagnosed at five Liver Centers in Northeastern China, from 2012 to 2016. CXCL10 rs1439490, rs1440802, and IL-28 B rs12979860 were analyzed by sequencing. Serum CXCL10 was measured by ELISA. Intrahepatic CXCL10 was determined by quantitative PCR and immunohistochemical semi-quantitative scoring. Liver necroinflammation and fibrosis were scored according to the METAVIR system.RESULTS CXCL10 rs1439490 G/G was more prevalent in OCI patients(n = 93/103; 90.3%) than in CHC patients(n = 116/155; 74.8%; P = 0.008). OCI patients had lower serum CXCL10 levels than CHC patients(192.91 ± 46.50 pg/mL vs 354.78 ± 102.91 pg/mL, P < 0.0001). Of IL-28 B rs12979860 C/C patients, OCI patients with rs1439490 G/G had lower serum and liver levels of CXCL10 and lower levels of liver necroinflammation and fibrosis than non-G/G patients. OCI patients had higher alanine aminotransferase normalization rates after Peginterferon treatment than CHC patients(P < 0.05) and serum CXCL10 decreased significantly(P < 0.0001). Liver necroinflammation and fibrosis were alleviated in 8 OCI patients after treatment. Multivariate analysis indicated that rs1439490 G/G significantly influenced the occurrence of OCI in HCV infection(OR = 0.31, 95%CI: 0.15-0.66, P = 0.002).CONCLUSION CXCL10 rs1439490 G/G is positively associated with OCI in HCV infection and antiviral outcome.

Alternation of plasma c-type natriuretic peptide in cerebral infarction

AIM:To investigate the effects of c type natriuretic peptide (CNP) on cerebral infarction.METHODS:Plasma levels of CNP were concomitantly measured by radioimmunoassay in 30 patients with cerebral infarction and in 30 normal controls.RESULTS:Plasma levels of CNP were increased significantly in the acute stage of cerebral infarction than those in the normal controls(P< 0.01) and levels in the moderate and serious cases were lower than those in the slight cases(P< 0.01).CONCLUSION:In cerebral infarction the increase of plasma CNP was in accordance with the severity of the disease .CNP in the pathophysiology of acute cerebral ischemia had a deleterious effect on the evolution of cerebral infarction.

Safety and feasibility of emergent percutaneous coronary intervention with the transradial access in patients with acute myocardial infarction

The use of intense anticoagulation and antiplatelet therapy in acute myocardial infarction （AMI）potentially increases the risk of bleeding complications during percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） via the transfemoral approach. Recently, the transradial access has been increasingly employed as an alternative means for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Low incidence of vascular access site bleeding complications suggests the transradial approach as a safe alternative to the femoral technique in AMI, particularly under an aggressive anticoagulation/antiplatelet regimen.Nevertheless, the safety and feasibility of employing the transradial approach for primary PCI in AMI has not been thoroughly investigated so far.

Busuishengxue ranules mediate their effects upon non-severe aplastic anemia via mitogen-activated protein kinase/extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Busuishengxue granules on non-severe aplastic anemia(NSAA)and investigate its effect on the mitogen-activated protein kinase/extracellular signal-regulated kinase(MAPK/ERK)pathway.METHODS:Sixty NSAA patients were divided equally into two groups.Subjects in the experimental group were treated with Busuishengxue granules,and the control group with Zaizaoshengxue tablets.The treatment course was 6 months and cu-rative efficacy was compared between the two groups as well as with 10 healthy individuals.Flow cytometry(FCM)was used to detect the intracellular concentration of Ca2+([Ca2+]i).Western blotting was employed to detect the expression of enzymes in the MAPK/ERK pathway.RESULTS:The efficacy of Busuishengxue granules was significantly better than that of Zaizaoshengxue tablets(P<0.05).Before treatment,expression of JNK,phospho-ERK 1/2 and p-JNK was higher,and[Ca2+]i higher,than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment with Busuishengxue granules,expression of all enzymes related to signal transduction pathways in the blood cells of NSSA patients were altered to different degrees.CONCLUSION:Busuishengxue granules had a better effect with regard to improving symptom scores,increasing the number of blood leukocytes,and increasing hemoglobin levels than Zaizaoshengxue tablets,and they differed slightly in terms of increasing the number of platelets.
