The design and performance analysis of networked control systems with random network delay in the forward channel is proposed, which are described in a state-space form. A new control scheme is used to overcome the effects of network transmission delay, which is termed networked predictive control (NPC). Furthermore, three different ways to choose control input are discussed and the performances are analyzed, respectively. To improve the robustness of high-precision servo systems, quantitative feedback theory (QFT) which aims to achieve a desired robust design over a specified region of plant uncertainty is proposed. The robust design problem can be solved using QFT but it fails to guarantee a high precision tracking. This problem is solved by a robust digital QFT control scheme based on zero phase error (ZPE) feed forward compensation. This scheme consists of two parts: a QFT controller in the closed-loop system and a ZPE feed-forward compensator. Digital QFT controller is designed to overcome the uncertainties in the system. Digital ZPE feed forward controller is used to improve the tracking precision. Simulation and real-time examples for flight simulator servo system indicate that this control scheme can guarantee both high robust performance and high position tracking precision. 展开更多

Based on a new linear, continuous and bounded operator (PGOPO), a more effective approach and optimal control algorithm than by the block-pulse functions and Walsh functions to design the linear servomechanism of time-varying systems with time-delay is proposed in the paper. By means of the operator, the differential equation is transferred to a more explicit algebraic form which is much easier than the numerical integration of nonlinear TPBVP derived from Pantryagin's maximum principle method. Furthermore, the method is established strictly based on the theory of convergence in the mean square and it is convenient and simple in computation. So the method can be applied to industry control and aeronautics and astronautics field which is frequently mixed with time varying and time delay. Some illustrative numerical examples are interpreted to support the technique. 展开更多

The modified method of characteristics which can compute the terminal induced voltages excited by the external electromagnetic wave when the terminal networks or intereonnection networks contain the dynamic elements is introduced. The simulation results indicate that the modified method can analyze the terminal induced voltages when the terminal networks or the interconnection networks contain the dynamic elements excited by the external electromagnetic wave. And the results are compared with the results acquired by FDTD method, the two results are completely same. So one effective modified method is implemented to compute the transmission lines. 展开更多

In order to improve the filter accuracy for the nonlinear error model of strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) alignment, Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) is presented for simulation with stationary base and moving base of SINS alignment. Simulation results show the superior performance of this approach when compared with classical suboptimal techniques such as extended Kalman filter in cases of large initial misalignment. The method could deal with the issue that input variables of a system have an effect on the input space while output variables of the system do not exert an influence on the input space in the proposed objective functions of fuzzy clustering. The method could simultaneously solve the problems about structure identification and parameter estimation; thus it makes the fuzzy model become optimal. Information fusion is applied to detect the phase-to-ground fault, which integrates several sources of information, including line current, line voltage, zero sequence current and voltage, and quintic harmonic wave component.
