This study used widely recommended conventional rice Jiafuzhan and hybrid rice Yongyou 2640 as the test materials to conduct a four-factor block design field experiment in a greenhouse of the experimental farm of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University, China from 2018 to 2019.The treatments included fertilization and no fertilization, alternate wetting and drying irrigation and continuous water flooding irrigation, and plots with and without artificial crushing damage on the rice stubble. At the same time, a 13C stable isotope in-situ detection technology was used to fertilize the pot experiment. The results showed significant interactions among varieties, water management, nitrogen application and stubble status.Relative to the long-term water flooding treatment, the treatment with sequential application of nitrogen fertilizer coupled with moderate field drought for root-vigor and tiller promotion before and after harvesting of the main crop, significantly improved the effective tillers from low position nodes. This in turn increased the effective panicles per plant and grains per panicle by reducing the influence of artificial crushing damage on rice stubble and achieving a high yield of the regenerated rice. Furthermore, the partitioning of 13C assimilates to the residual stubble and its axillary buds were significantly improved at the mature stage of the main crop, while the translocation rate to roots and rhizosphere soil was reduced at the later growth stage of ratooning season rice. This was triggered by the metabolism of hormones and polyamines at the stem base regulated by the interaction of water and fertilizer at this time. We therefore suggest that to achieve a high yield of ratoon rice with low stubble height under mechanized harvesting, the timely application of nitrogen fertilizer is fundamental, coupled with moderate field drying for root-vigor preservation and tiller promotion before and after the mechanical harvesting of the main crop.展开更多

The glass shards from those tephra layers were studied for size distribution, texture, and elemental geochemistry to establish chronostratigraphic markers for regional and global Quaternary correlation. The textural features of fine-grained(silty) volcanic glasses suggest the distal source of these tephra deposits. Major element composition with elevated SiO_(2) contents ranging between75%–76% and dominance of K_(2)O(> 4.5%) over CaO(< 0.9%) suggest ashes have originated from siliceous rhyolitic melts, similar to the petrographic composition of tephra from the Toba volcano. The bulk trace element compositions of the same glass shards were comparable with those reported in the youngest Toba tephra reported elsewhere. Likewise, the LREE-dominated chondrite normalized REE profiles of tephra from the Mahanadi basin closely resemble the characteristic REE patterns in Toba ash from other parts of the Indian Ocean and thus confirmed the contribution of the youngest Toba super-eruption for this ash layers.展开更多

文摘Petroleum hydrocarbon pollution is a global concern, particularly in coastal environments.Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) are regarded as the most toxic components of petroleum hydrocarbons. In this study, the biomonitoring and ranking effects of petroleum hydrocarbons and PAHs on the marine fish model Oryzias melastigma embryos were determined in the Jiulong River Estuary(JRE) and its adjacent waters in China. The results showed that the levels of petroleum hydrocarbons from almost all sites met the primary standard for marine seawater quality, and the concentrations of the 16 priority PAHs in the surface seawater were lower compared with those in other coastal areas worldwide.A new fish expert system based on the embryotoxicity of O.melastigma(OME-FES) was developed and applied in the field to evaluate the biological effects of petroleum hydrocarbons and PAHs.The selected physiological index and molecular indicators in OME-FES were appropriate biomarkers for indicating the harmful effects of petroleum hydrocarbons and PAHs.The outcome of OME-FES revealed that the biological effect levels of the sampling sites ranged from level Ⅰ(no stress) to level Ⅲ(medium stress),which is further corroborated by the findings of nested analysis of variance(ANOVA) models. Our results suggest that the OME-FES is an effective tool for evaluating and ranking the biological effects of marine petroleum hydrocarbons and PAHs.This method may also be applied to evaluate other marine pollutants based on its framework.

文摘Mangroves play a pivotal role in tropical and subtropical coastal ecosystem, yet they are highly vulnerable to the effects of climate change, particularly the accelerated global sea level rise(SLR)and stronger tropical cyclones(TCs).However, there is a lack of research addressing future simultaneous combined impacts of the slow-onset of SLR and rapid-onset of TCs on China's mangroves. In order to develop a comprehensive risk assessment method considering the superimposed effects of these two factors and analyze risk for mangroves in Dongzhaigang,Hainan Island,China,we used observational and climate model data to assess the risks to mangroves under low, intermediate, and very high greenhouse gas(GHG)emission scenarios(such as SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and SSP5-8.5)in 2030,2050,and 2100,and compiled a risk assessment scheme for mangroves in Dongzhaigang,China. The results showed that the combined risks from SLR and TCs will continue to rise;however,SLRs will increase in intensity, and TCs will decrease. The comprehensive risk of the Dongzhaigang mangroves posed by climate change will remain low under SSP1-2.6 and SSP2-4.5 scenarios by 2030,but it will increase substantially by 2100.While under SSP5-8.5 scenario, the risks to mangroves in Dongzhaigang are projected to increase considerably by 2050,and approximately 68.8%of mangroves will be at very high risk by 2100.The risk to the Dongzhaigang mangroves is not only influenced by the hazards but also closely linked to their exposure and vulnerability. We therefore propose climate resilience developmental responses for mangroves to address the effects of climate change. This study for the combined impact of TCs and SLR on mangroves in Dongzhaigang,China can enrich the method system of mangrove risk assessment and provide references for scientific management.

文摘Major differences in beach erosion between two neighboring artificial beaches Xiangluwan Beach(XL beach)and Meiliwan Beach(ML beach)in Zhuhai,China, were studied after Super Typhoon Hato.In this study,a fully nonlinear Boussinesq wave model(FUNWAVE)-Total Variation Diminishing(TVD)was used to distinguish the main impact factors, their relative contributions, and the hydrodynamic mechanisms underlying the different beach responses. Results show that compared to the ML beach, the main reason for the relatively weak erosion on Xiangluwan(XL)beach was the smaller beach berm height(accounting for approximately 75.9%of the erosion response).Regarding the beach with a higher berm, the stronger wave-induced undertow flow, along with the higher sediment concentration, led to a higher offshore sediment transport flux, resulting in more severe erosion relative to the beach with a smaller berm height. The second most important reason explaining the weak erosion on XL beach was the absence of seawalls(accounting for approximately 17.9%of the erosion response).Wave reflection induced by the seawall could cause higher suspended sediment concentration, resulting in a toe scouring near the seawall. The offshore submerged breakwater protected XL beach slightly(accounting for approximately 6.1%of the erosion response).Due to the higher water level induced by storm surge, most of the wave energy could penetrate through the submerged breakwater. The effect of the larger berm width of XL beach was negligible.Compared to the beach with a larger berm width, the erosion/deposition regions in the beach with a narrower berm width showed shoreward migration, without significant changes in the erosion/deposition extent.Despite of this, the larger berm width could reduce the wave energy reaching the shoreline. This study of the storm stability of artificial beaches may be applied to beach restoration design.

文摘Microeukaryotes play a vital role in shaping marine ecosystems, especially in marine productivity, the microbial food web,and carbon cycle. The Indian Ocean is one of the largest oligotrophic areas in the world, but little is known about the biodiversity of microeukaryotes in the area. The community composition and geographical distribution of microeukaryotes collected from the surface(SUR)and deep chlorophyll maximum(DCM)layers in the southwestern Indian Ocean were studied using high-throughput sequencing of the 18S rRNA gene. The metagenomic data helped quantify the impact of environmental factors on microeukaryotic communities. The relative abundance of different taxa groups exhibited distinct patterns between SUR and DCM layers, except for the most dominant Dinoflagellata that accounted for more than 40.6%abundance in each sample.Radiolaria was much more abundant in the nutrient-rich DCM layer than the SUR layer. The community similarity of microeukaryotes decreased with increasing of geographic distance, whereas the temperature and inorganic nitrogen were the most important environmental parameters to community structure.Abundant communities were more influenced by dispersal limitations and rare communities were more responsive to environmental factors.Correlation network analyses revealed strong biotic interactions indicative of parasitism, predation and competition, and their contribution to microeukaryotic population in diverse environments.Overall, this study provided insights into the biodiversity of microeukaryotes by characterizing the differences between water layers and identifying the driving factors in the ocean.

文摘Eutrophication caused by inputs of excess nitrogen(N) has become a serious environmental problem in Hangzhou Bay(China),but the sources of this nitrogen are not well understood. In this study, the August 2019 distributions of salinity, nutrients [nitrate(NO_(3)^(-)),nitrite,ammonium,and phosphate],and the stable isotopic composition of NO_(3)^(-)(δ^(15)N and δ^(18)O) were used to investigate sources of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) to Hangzhou B ay.Spatial distributions of nitrate, salinity, and nitrate δ^(18)O indicate that the Qiantang River, the Changjiang River, and nearshore coastal waters may all contribute nitrate to the bay.Based on the isotopic compositions of nitrate in these potential source waters and conservative mixing of nitrate in our study area,we suggest that the NO_(3)^(- )in Hangzhou B ay was likely derived mainly from soils, synthetic N fertilizer, and manure and sewage.End-member modeling indicates that in the upper half of the bay,the Qiantang River was a very important DIN source, possibly contributing more than 50% of DIN in the bay head area.In the lower half of the bay,DIN was sourced mainly from strongly intruding coastal water.DIN coming directly from the Changjiang River made a relatively small contribution to Hangzhou Bay DIN in August 2019.

文摘The thermal front in the oceanic system is believed to have a significant effect on biological activity.During an era of climate change, changes in heat regulation between the atmosphere and oceanic interior can alter the characteristics of this important feature.Using the simulation results of the 3D Regional Ocean Modelling System(ROMS),we identified the location of thermal fronts and determined their dynamic variability in the area between the southern Andaman Sea and northern Malacca Strait. The Single Image Edge Detection(SIED)algorithm was used to detect the thermal front from model-derived temperature. Results show that a thermal front occurred every year from 2002 to 2012 with the temperature gradient at the location of the front was 0.3°C/km.Compared to the years affected by El Ni?o and negative Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD),the normal years(e.g.,May 2003)show the presence of the thermal front at every selected depth(10,25,50,and 75 m),whereas El Ni?o and negative IOD during 2010 show the presence of the thermal front only at depth of 75 m due to greater warming, leading to the thermocline deepening and enhanced stratification.During May 2003,the thermal front was separated by cooler SST in the southern Andaman Sea and warmer SST in the northern Malacca Strait. The higher SST in the northern Malacca Strait was believed due to the besieged Malacca Strait, which trapped the heat and make it difficult to release while higher chlorophyll a in Malacca Strait is due to the freshwater conduit from nearby rivers(Klang,Langat,Perak, and Selangor).Furthermore, compared to the southern Andaman Sea,the chlorophyll a in the northern Malacca Strait is easier to reach the surface area due to the shallower thermocline, which allows nutrients in the area to reach the surface faster.

文摘The tephra layers in multiple sediment cores from the offshore region of the Mahanadi basin in the northern Bay of Bengal were investigated for possible volcanic sources. Likewise, the LREE-dominated chondrite normalized REE profiles of tephra from the Mahanadi basin closely resemble the characteristic REE patterns in Toba ash from other parts of the Indian Ocean and thus confirmed the contribution of the youngest Toba super-eruption for this ash layers.

文摘Autotomy of appendages is a self-protection mechanism in crustaceans, which is defined as the reflexive loss of a limb in response to predation, competition,or other environmental factors.Single-limb injuries were the most common among the species surveyed in the present study, and the chelicerae were the most frequently lost appendages. After autotomy, hormones and signaling pathways are altered.Loss of limbs can affect foraging efficiency, although cheliped loss may be compensated by shifting to alternative prey or using both motor and oral appendages. In heterogeneous species, the loss of the major chelae may affect the selectivity of feeding.Autotomy can affect crustacean growth by reducing size increases at molting and altering the timing of ecdysis. In commercial production, removing chelicerae is an effective strategy to reduce cannibalism, and production of soft-shell crabs can be increased via autotomy. After autotomy,a new limb will regrow through regeneration and molting. This process involves the regulation of hormones, regrowth of nerves, and a number of signaling pathways that include the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and transforming growth factorβsignaling pathway.Crustaceans are somewhat different from vertebrates in terms of regeneration. This review provides theoretical guidance about autotomy and regeneration applied in artificial aquaculture, and we offer several suggestions for future research on autotomy and regeneration in crustaceans.
文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environmental contaminants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human health risks. This study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in Egypt. The aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of these compounds.Surface seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern part of Burullus Lake.Soxhlet extraction method was employed to extract PAHs(16PAHs)from the sediment sample.Analytically, target compounds were located using HPLC.The results showed that samples contained PAHs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAHs pollution.Additionally, there was no apparent source of PAHs in the ElKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the compounds. The most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was fluoranthene. The diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus Lake. The principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contamination in the surface sediments. The non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations, respectively, was calculated.HI values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human health.TEQs and MEQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impact on people. For the safety of nearby wildlife, aquatic life, and people, all activities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and controlled.According to the ecological risk assessment, there is little chance that PAHs will be found in the sediments of Burullus Lake. This study underscores the urgent need for effective pollution control measures and regular monitoring of PAHs levels in Burullus Lake sediments to protect the aquatic ecosystem and public health. It also highlights the importance of considering eco-toxicity and human health risks in integrated risk assessments of PAHs-contaminated environments.

文摘Surface waves have a considerable effect on vertical mixing in the upper ocean. In the past two decades, the vertical mixing induced through nonbreaking surface waves has been used in ocean and climate models to improve the simulation of the upper ocean. Thus far, several nonbreaking wave-induced mixing parameterization schemes have been proposed;however,no quantitative comparison has been performed among them.In this paper,a one-dimensional ocean model was used to compare the performances of five schemes, including those of Qiao et al.(Q),Hu and Wang(HW),Huang and Qiao(HQ),Pleskachevsky et al.(P),and Ghantous and Babanin(GB).Similar to previous studies, all of these schemes can decrease the simulated sea surface temperature(SST),increase the subsurface temperature, and deepen the mixed layer, thereby alleviating the common thermal deviation problem of the ocean model for upper ocean simulation.Among these schemes, the HQ scheme exhibited the weakest wave-induced mixing effect, and the HW scheme exhibited the strongest effect;the other three schemes exhibited roughly the same effect. In particular, the Q and P schemes exhibited nearly the same effect. In the simulation based on observations from the Ocean Weather Station Papa, the HQ scheme exhibited the best performance, followed by the Q scheme. In the experiment with the HQ scheme, the root-mean-square deviation of the simulated SST from the observations was 0.43℃,and the mixed layer depth(MLD)was 2.0 m.As a contrast, the deviations of the SST and MLD reached 1.25℃ and 8.4 m,respectively,in the experiment without wave-induced mixing.

文摘Internal solitary waves(ISWs)change the roughness of the sea surface, thus producing dark and bright bands in optical images. However, reasons for changes in imaging characteristics with the solar zenith angle remain unclear. In this paper, the optical imaging pattern of ISWs in sunglint under different zenith angles of the light source is investigated by collecting optical images of ISWs through physical simulation. The experiment involves setting 10 zenith angles of the light source, which are divided into area a the optical images of ISWs in the three areas show dark-bright mode, single bright band, and bright-dark mode, which are consistent with those observed by optical remote sensing. In addition, this study analyzed the percentage of the dark and bright areas of the bands and the change in the relative gray difference and found changes in both areas under different zenith angles of the light source. The MODIS and ASAR images display a similar brightness-darkness distance of the same ISWs.Therefore, the relationship between the brightness-darkness distance and the characteristic half-width of ISWs is determined in accordance with the eKdV theory and the imaging mechanism of ISWs of the SAR image.Overall, the relationship between them in the experiment is almost consistent with the theoretical result.

文摘To explore the occurrence phases and enrichment mechanism of rare earth elements(REEs)in cobalt-rich crusts, this study analyzes the mineral composition and REE contents of the samples from Marcus-Wake Seamounts by XRD,ICP-OES and ICP-MS.The results show that,(1)the cobalt-rich crusts contain the major crystalline mineral(vernadite),the secondary minerals(quartz, plagioclase and carbonate fluorapatite),and a large amount of amorphous ferric oxyhydroxides(FeOOH).(2)The cobalt-rich crusts contains higher Mn(10.83%to 28.76%)and Fe(6.14%to 18.86%)relative to other elements, and are enriched in REEs,with total REE contents of 1563−3238μg/g and Ce contents of 790−1722μg/g.Rare earth element contents of the old crusts are higher than those of the new crusts. Moreover, the non-phosphatized crusts have positive Ce and negative Y anomalies, and yet the phosphatized crusts have positive Ce and positive Y anomalies, indicating that cobalt-rich crusts is hydrogenetic and REEs mainly come from seawater.(3)Analytical data also show that the occurrence phases of elements in cobalt-rich crusts are closely related to their mineral phases. In the non-phosphatized crusts,REEs are adsorbed by colloidal particles into the crusts(about 67%of REEs in the Fe oxide phase, and about 17%of REEs in the Mn oxide phase). In contrast,in the phosphatized crusts(affected by the phosphatization),REEs may combine with phosphate to form rare earth phosphate minerals, and about 64%of REEs are enriched in the residual phase containing carbonate fluorapatite, but correspondingly the influence of Fe and Mn oxide phases on REEs enrichment is greatly reduced. In addition, the oxidizing environment of seawater, high marine productivity, phosphatization, and slow growth rate can promote the REE enrichment. This study provides a reference for the metallogenesis of cobalt-rich crusts in the Pacific.

文摘The accurate identification of marine oil spills and their emulsions is of great significance for emergency response to oil spill pollution. The selection of characteristic bands with strong separability helps to realize the rapid calculation of data on aircraft or in orbit, which will improve the timeliness of oil spill emergency monitoring. At the same time, the combination of spectral and spatial features can improve the accuracy of oil spill monitoring. Two ground-based experiments were designed to collect measured airborne hyperspectral data of crude oil and its emulsions, for which the multiscale superpixel level group clustering framework(MSGCF)was used to select spectral feature bands with strong separability. In addition, the double-branch dual-attention(DBDA)model was applied to identify crude oil and its emulsions.Compared with the recognition results based on original hyperspectral images, using the feature bands determined by MSGCF improved the recognition accuracy, and greatly shortened the running time. Moreover, the characteristic bands for quantifying the volume concentration of water-in-oil emulsions were determined, and a quantitative inversion model was constructed and applied to the AVIRIS image of the deepwater horizon oil spill event in 2010.This study verified the effectiveness of feature bands in identifying oil spill pollution types and quantifying concentration, laying foundation for rapid identification and quantification of marine oil spills and their emulsions on aircraft or in orbit.

文摘Abstract The chlorophyll-a concentration data obtained through remote sensing are important for a wide range of scientific concerns. However, cloud cover and limitations of inversion algorithms of chlorophyll-a concentration lead to data loss, which critically limits studying the mechanism of spatial-temporal patterns of chlorophyll-a concentration in response to marine environment changes. If the commonly used operational chlorophyll-a concentration products can offer the best data coverage frequency, highest accuracy, best applicability, and greatest robustness at different scales remains debatable to date. Therefore,in the present study, four commonly used operational multi-sensor multi-algorithm fusion products were compared and subjected to validation based on statistical analysis using the available data measured at multiple spatial and temporal scales. The experimental results revealed that in terms of spatial distribution, the chlorophyll-a concentration products generated by averaging method(Chl1-AV/AVW)and GSM model(Chl1-GSM)presented a relatively high data coverage frequency in Case Ⅰ water regions and extremely low or no data coverage frequency in the estuarine coastal zone regions and inland water regions, the chlorophyll-a concentration products generated by the Neural Network algorithm(Chl2)presented high data coverage frequency in the estuarine coastal zone Case 2 water regions. The chlorophyll-a concentration products generated by the OC5 algorithm(ChlOC5)presented high data coverage frequency in Case I water regions and the turbid Case Ⅱ water regions. In terms of absolute precision, the Chl1-AV/AVW and Chl1-GSM chlorophyll-a concentration products performed better in Class I water regions, and the Chl2 product performed well only in Case Ⅱ estuarine coastal zones, while presenting large errors in absolute precision in the Case Ⅰ water regions. The ChlOC5 product presented a higher precision in Case Ⅰ and Case Ⅱ water regions, with a better and more stable performance in both regions compared to the other products.

文摘Lamprophyres typically appear in hydrothermal gold deposits. The relationship between lamprophyres and gold deposits is investigated widely. Some researchers suggest that the emplacement of lamprophyres triggers gold mineralization, whereas others hypothesize that the formation of lamprophyres increases the fertility of mantle sources and ore-forming fluids.K-feldspar veins, with ages between those of lamprophyres and gold deposits, appear in lamprophyres in Zhenyuan.Therefore,K-feldspar veins are ideal for investigating the relationship between lamprophyres and gold deposits.Phlogopite in K-feldspar veins has lower Mg#,Ni,and Cr contents and higher TiO2,Li,Ba,Sr,Sc,Zr,Nb,and Cs contents than phlogopite in lamprophyres. The in-situ Sr isotopic values of apatites(0.7063–0.7066)in K-feldspar veins are within the range for apatites(0.7064–0.7078)from lamprophyres.High large-ion lithophile element concentrations and low Nb and Ta concentrations in phlogopite from lamprophyres,in addition to high(87Sr/86Sr)i values of apatite(0.7064–0.7078),indicate that the magma parental to these phlogopite and apatite crystals is derived from an enriched mantle.Kfeldspar veins are genetically correlated with lamprophyres, whereas sulfide mineral assemblage and trace element compositions of pyrite in K-feldspar veins suggest that K-feldspar veins in lamprophyres are not directly related to gold mineralization of the Zhenyuan deposit.

文摘Surface Water and Ocean Topography(SWOT)is a next-generation radar altimeter that offers high resolution, wide swath, imaging capabilities. It has provided free public data worldwide since December 2023.This paper aims to preliminarily analyze the detection capabilities of the Ka-band radar interferometer(KaRIn)and Nadir altimeter(NALT),which are carried out by SWOT for internal solitary waves(ISWs),and to gather other remote sensing images to validate SWOT observations.KaRIn effectively detects ISW surface features and generates surface height variation maps reflecting the modulations induced by ISWs.However, its swath width does not completely cover the entire wave packet, and the resolution of L2/L3 level products(about 2 km)cannot be used to identify ISWs with smaller wavelengths.Additionally, significant wave height(SWH)images exhibit blocky structures that are not suitable for ISW studies;sea surface height anomaly(SSHA)images display systematic leftright banding. We optimize this imbalance using detrending methods;however, more precise treatment should commence with L1-level data.Quantitative analysis based on L3-level SSHA data indicates that the average SSHA variation induced by ISWs ranges from 10 cm to 20 cm.NALTs disturbed by ISWs record unusually elevated SWH and SSHA values, rendering the data unsuitable for analysis and necessitating targeted corrections in future retracking algorithms. For the normalized radar cross section,Ku-band and four-parameter maximum likelihood estimation retracking demonstrated greater sensitivity to minor changes in the sea surface, making them more suitable for ISW detection. In conclusion,SWOT demonstrates outstanding capabilities in ISW detection, significantly advancing research on the modulation of the sea surface by ISWs and remote sensing imaging mechanisms.
文摘Turbulent fluxes at the air-sea interface were estimated with data collected in 2011-2020 with a low-profile platform named OCARINA during eight experiments in five regions:2011,2015,and 2016 in the Iroise Sea;2012 in the tropical Atlantic;2014 in the Chilie-Peru upwelling;2017 and 2018 in the Mediterranean Sea,and 2018 and 2020 in Barbados. The observations were carried out with moderate winds(2-10 m s^(-1))and average wave heights of 1.5 m.In this study, the authors used the fluxes calculated by the bulk method using OCARINA-sampled data as the input. These data can validate the fluxes estimated from ERAS reanalysis data. The OCARINA and ERA5 data were taken concomitantly. To do this, the authors established an algorithm to extract the OCARINA data as closely as possible to the reanalysis data in time and position. The measurements of the OCARINA platform can conclude on the relevance of the widely used reanalysis data.
