Intraspecific competition is a common phenomenon in agricultural production,and maize is one of the most sensitive grass species to intraspecific competition due to its low tillering ability.This study evaluated and a...Intraspecific competition is a common phenomenon in agricultural production,and maize is one of the most sensitive grass species to intraspecific competition due to its low tillering ability.This study evaluated and analyzed intraspecific competition in maize,and screened competitive indices that could be used to evaluate intraspecific competition in a maize population.A 2-year field experiment was conducted using the maize hybrid Zhongdan 2 at 12 plant densities ranging from 1.5 to 18.0 plants(pl)m-2.The results showed that the response of single-plant grain yield and dry matter at harvest to increased plant density decreased exponentially and that the harvest index decreased linearly.The response of population-level grain yield to plant density was curvilinear,producing a maximum value at the optimum population density.However,the yielddensity equation agreed well with the Steinhart-Hart equation curves,but not with the quadratic equation curves reported by most previous studies.Competitive indices are used to evaluate competition in a plant population or plant species.The present results show that competitive intensity(CI)and absolute severity of competition(ASC)increased with increasing plant density;however,relative yield(RY)and relative reproductive efficiency(RReff)decreased.The different responses of these indices reflect different aspects of competition.According to the analysis of CI,ASC,RY,and RReff,higher CI and ASC values indicate higher intraspecific competition,whereas higher RY and RReff values indirectly reflect lower intraspecific competition.These competitive indices evaluate not only the intraspecific competitive intensity under different plant densities of the same cultivar but also those of different cultivars under the same plant density.However,some overlap exists in the calculations of ASC,CI,and RY,so one could simply select any one of these indices to evaluate intraspecific competition in a maize population.In conclusion,the present study provides a method to evaluate intraspecific competition in maize populations,which may be beneficial for breeding high-yield maize varieties in the future.展开更多

It is shown that the highspeed nonsingular terminal switched sliding mode(HNT-SSM)which is the representation of different control demands and enforced by the HNT-SSMC has the property of global highspeed convergence compared with the nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode(NFTSM), and provides the global non-singularity.The simulation study of an application example is carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.展开更多
For modern scaling devices,multiple cell upsets(MCUs)have become a major threat to high-reliability field-programmable gate array(FPGA)-based systems.Thus,both performing the worst-case irradiation tests to provide th...For modern scaling devices,multiple cell upsets(MCUs)have become a major threat to high-reliability field-programmable gate array(FPGA)-based systems.Thus,both performing the worst-case irradiation tests to provide the actual MCU response of devices and proposing an effective MCU distinction method are urgently needed.In this study,high-and medium-energy heavy-ion irradiations for the configuration random-access memory of 28 nm FPGAs are performed.An MCU extraction method supported by theoretical predictions is proposed to study the MCU sizes,shapes,and frequencies in detail.Based on the extraction method,the different percentages,and orientations of the large MCUs in both the azimuth and zenith directions determine the worse irradiation response of the FPGAs.The extracted largest 9-bit MCUs indicate that high-energy heavy ions can induce more severe failures than medium-energy ones.The results show that both the use of high-energy heavy ions during MCU evaluations and effective protection for the application of high-density 28 nm FPGAs in space are extremely necessary.展开更多

The results showed that:(1) the market within the autonomous region remained to be the largest one in those 4 sections;(2) Beijing was the largest domestic tourism market outside Inner Mongolia;(3) different sections were divided on the target market of domestic tourism:(1) Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region proved to be the primary market of Inner Mongolia at large;(2) Beijing and 3 provinces in Northwest China came as the primary markets of Hulun Buir-Hinggan section;(3) Beijing-Tanjin-Hebei Region and Liaoning Province were the primary markets of Xilingol-Chifeng-Tongliao section;(4) BeijingShanxi-Hebei Region turned out to be the primary market of Huhhot-Baotou-Erdos-UlanqabBayannur section;(5) Beijing and Gansu were the primary markets of Wuhai-Alxa section;(4) the market concentration ratio of domestic tourism in different sections varied from each other, and the east section was the highest one, followed by middle section, Inner Mongolia as a whole, west section, and northeast section. Among eight strains, only SQ...In the present study, eight strains were isolated from 20 cow vagina samples and identified using phenotype, biochemical analysis, sugar fermentation tests, and 16S rRNA sequence analysis. Among eight strains, only SQ0048 was identified as Lactobacillus johnsonii based on a series of biochemical testing (including the adhesion test, catalase test, bacteriocin production test, antibacterial test, and pH value), suggesting that its biological activity was superior to the other seven strains. Furthermore, SQ0048 had the lowest pH value (4.32) and the shortest fermentation time (8 h) compared with the other strains. The adhesion rate of SQ0048 was significantly higher than that of Lactobacillus delbrueckii, with an average adhesion number of 304 ± 2.67. The hydrogen peroxide production testing in SQ0048 was positive;in addition, bacteriocin gene of SQ0048, encoding an approximately 10-kDa product, was successfully cloned, expressed, and detected using the SDS-PAGE method. Meanwhile, SQ0048 had a weak inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. However, the expression products of the bacteriocin gene of SQ0048 had a very strong inhibitory effect on S. aureus and E. coli, with inhibition zone sizes of 18 ± 0.45 mm and 15 ± 0.60 mm, respectively. These data showed that SQ0048 has excellent antibacterial properties compared with other isolated strains and is a potential probiotic candidate to improve the health of the vaginas of cows by inhibiting pathogenic microorganisms.展开更多

The quantum tunneling, the Franz-Keldysh effect and the quantum confinement can be generated under an applied electric field. The results showed that:(1) the market within the autonomous region remained to be the largest one in those 4 sections;(2) Beijing was the largest domestic tourism market outside Inner Mongolia;(3) different sections were divided on the target market of domestic tourism:(1) Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region proved to be the primary market of Inner Mongolia at large;(2) Beijing and 3 provinces in Northwest China came as the primary markets of Hulun Buir-Hinggan section;(3) Beijing-Tanjin-Hebei Region and Liaoning Province were the primary markets of Xilingol-Chifeng-Tongliao section;(4) BeijingShanxi-Hebei Region turned out to be the primary market of Huhhot-Baotou-Erdos-UlanqabBayannur section;(5) Beijing and Gansu were the primary markets of Wuhai-Alxa section;(4) the market concentration ratio of domestic tourism in different sections varied from each other, and the east section was the highest one, followed by middle section, Inner Mongolia as a whole, west section, and northeast section. As a result, authors of this paper made recommendations on how to develop the domestic tourism in Inner Mongolia.
文摘This paper systematically studies the complete integrability of the Newell equation. Using generalized Bell polynomials, the corresponding bilinear equation, bilinear Bäcklund transformation, Lax pair, and multi-shock wave solutions are successfully obtained. In addition, using the multidimensional Riemann theta functions, the periodic wave solutions of the Newell equation are constructed. On this basis, the asymptotic behavior of the periodic wave solution is given, which is the relationship between the periodic wave solution and the solitary wave solution.
文摘In the present study, eight strains were isolated from 20 cow vagina samples and identified using phenotype, biochemical analysis, sugar fermentation tests, and 16S rRNA sequence analysis. Among eight strains, only SQ0048 was identified as Lactobacillus johnsonii based on a series of biochemical testing (including the adhesion test, catalase test, bacteriocin production test, antibacterial test, and pH value), suggesting that its biological activity was superior to the other seven strains. Furthermore, SQ0048 had the lowest pH value (4.32) and the shortest fermentation time (8 h) compared with the other strains. The adhesion rate of SQ0048 was significantly higher than that of Lactobacillus delbrueckii, with an average adhesion number of 304 ± 2.67. The hydrogen peroxide production testing in SQ0048 was positive;in addition, bacteriocin gene of SQ0048, encoding an approximately 10-kDa product, was successfully cloned, expressed, and detected using the SDS-PAGE method. Meanwhile, SQ0048 had a weak inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. However, the expression products of the bacteriocin gene of SQ0048 had a very strong inhibitory effect on S. aureus and E. coli, with inhibition zone sizes of 18 ± 0.45 mm and 15 ± 0.60 mm, respectively. These data showed that SQ0048 has excellent antibacterial properties compared with other isolated strains and is a potential probiotic candidate to improve the health of the vaginas of cows by inhibiting pathogenic microorganisms.

文摘The rapid advancement of information technology poses significant pedagogical challenges for basic computer courses in local colleges and universities.This study proposes a comprehensive framework for instructional innovation,encompassing the restructuring of course content,enrichment of teaching resources,reformulation of instructional methods,and the establishment of feedback channels,as well as a comprehensive framework for optimizing assessment mechanisms.The implementation of this framework has yielded remarkable outcomes,including heightened classroom engagement and academic rigor as well as an overall enhancement in students’critical thinking and practical skills.These transformative changes have propelled basic computer courses in local higher education institutions to a new stage while offering valuable insights for future pedagogical reforms.

文摘This study aims to explore the relationship between the teaching environment and teaching quality in Inner Mongolia universities,analyze the characteristics and current situation of the teaching environment,and provide recommendations for improvement.Through a detailed analysis of the components,characteristics,and existing issues and challenges of the teaching environment,it is found that the teaching environment has an important impact on the teaching quality.It is suggested to increase investment in infrastructure,optimize the structure of the teaching staff,rationally allocate educational resources,and promote the balanced development of disciplines.At the same time,policy recommendations were put forward,including the establishment of a teaching evaluation system,strengthening teacher training and development,and promoting school-enterprise cooperation to improve the quality of teaching.Future research directions may focus on areas such as educational technology development,policy-level influences,and school management models to further expand our understanding of the relationship between teaching environment and teaching quality.

文摘Copolymers which are synthesized by oligomers or homopolymers have quasi-one-dimen sional structures. A tight-binding model was suggested to study the organic quantum-well properties of triblock copolymers xPA/nPPP/yPA and xPPP/nPA/yPPP consisting of polyacetylene (PA) and poly(p-phenylene) (PPP). It was found that the electronic density in the lowest conductive state ( LU MO) could be tuned by the ratios of homopolymers and interfacial coupling. The spontaneous quantum tunneling effects will occur in triblock copolymer xPA/nPPP/yPA with the increasing interfacial cou pling.

文摘A tight-binding calculation was presented to describe multiblock copolymers, such as [...-(PA)x-(PPP)y-...] composed of PA (polyacetylene) and PPP (poly(p-phenylene). It is found that a copolymer has a quantum well and superlattice characteristics, and evident is the effect of the composite lengths, the interfacial couplings and the electron-phonon interactions on the electronic properties of a copolymer. The quantum tunneling, the Franz-Keldysh effect and the quantum confinement can be generated under an applied electric field. These results were compared to those of traditional inorganic quantum well and superlattice systems.
