The entry into a hyper-connected society increases the generalization of communication using SNS.Therefore,research to analyze big data accumulated in SNS and extractmeaningful information is being conducted in variou...The entry into a hyper-connected society increases the generalization of communication using SNS.Therefore,research to analyze big data accumulated in SNS and extractmeaningful information is being conducted in various fields.In particular,with the recent development of Deep Learning,the performance is rapidly improving by applying it to the field of Natural Language Processing,which is a language understanding technology to obtain accurate contextual information.In this paper,when a chatbot system is applied to the healthcare domain for counseling about diseases,the performance of NLP integrated withmachine learning for the accurate classification ofmedical subjects from text-based health counseling data becomes important.Among the various algorithms,the performance of Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers was compared with other algorithms of CNN,RNN,LSTM,and GRU.For this purpose,the health counseling data of Naver Q&A service were crawled as a dataset.KoBERT was used to classify medical subjects according to symptoms and the accuracy of classification results was measured.The simulation results show that KoBERTmodel performed high performance by more than 5%and close to 18%as large as the smallest.展开更多

Aim: To investigate whether the biological process of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO)-labeled human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) may be monitored non-invasively by using in vivo magnetic resonance (MR) im...Aim: To investigate whether the biological process of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO)-labeled human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) may be monitored non-invasively by using in vivo magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with conventional 1.5-T system examinations in corpus cavernosa of rats and rabbits. Methods: The labeling efficiency and viability of SP10-labeled hMSCs were examined with Prussian blue and Tripan blue, respectively. After SPIO-labeled hMSCs were transplanted to the corpus cavernosa of rats and rabbits, serial T2-weighted MR images were taken and histological examinations were carried out over a 4-week period. Results: hMSCs loaded with SPIO compared to unlabeled cells had a similar viability. For SPIO-labeled hMSCs more than lx 105 concentration in vitro, MR images showed a decrease in signal intensity. MR signal intensity at the areas of SPIO-labeled hMSCs in the rat and rabbit corpus cavernosa decreased and was confined locally. After injection of SPIO-labeled hMSCs into the corpus cavernosum, MR imaging demonstrated that hMSCs could be seen for at least 12 weeks after injection. The presence of iron was confirmed with Prussian blue staining in histological sections. Conclusion: SP10-labeled hMSCs in corpus cavernosa of rats and rabbits can be evaluated non-invasively by molecular MR imaging. Our findings suggest that MR imaging has the ability to test the long-term therapeutic potential of hMSCs in animals in the setting of erectile dysfunction.展开更多

To evaluate the effect of methotrexate on collagen-induced arthritis,micro-computed tomography(micro-CT)and histopathological analyses were used in male Wistar rats.Rats were divided randomly into three groups.Group 1...To evaluate the effect of methotrexate on collagen-induced arthritis,micro-computed tomography(micro-CT)and histopathological analyses were used in male Wistar rats.Rats were divided randomly into three groups.Group 1 was treated with 0.9% saline,and groups 2 and 3 were boosted with type II collagen.From day 21 to 42,groups 1 and 2 were orally treated with 0.9% saline and group 3 was orally treated with 1.5 mg/kg methotrexate.All rats were sacrificed at day 42 after the first collagen treatment.Micro-CT analyses showed bony parameters,such as bone volume and trabecular number,were decreased in group 2 compared to group 1,and these parameters were recovered in group 3.Histopathological examination and pathological parameter scoring showed that the knee joints of rats in group 2 had severe joint destruction,showing cartilage and bone erosion,enlarged cavities with inflammatory cell infiltration and activation of synovial fibroblasts.By contrast,these changes were reduced in group 3.Taken together,methotrexate treatment showed therapeutic potential in male rat collageninduced arthritis model,and micro-CT analysis and histopathological tools could be integrated to assess the quantification/qualification of arthritic lesions.展开更多

However, the mechanism underlying the ethanol-induced damage of neuronal cells remains unclear. The role of mitogen-activated protein kinases in ethanol-induced damage was investigated in SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells. 3-[4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide cell viability assay, DNA fragmentation detection, and flow cytometric analysis showed that ethanol induced apoptotic cell death and cell cycle arrest, characterized by increased caspase-3 activity, DNA fragmentation, nuclear disruption, and G1 arrest of cell cycle of the SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells. In addition, western blot analysis indicated that ethanol induced a lasting increase in c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase activity and a transient increase in p38 kinase activity of the neuroblastoma cells. c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase or p38 kinase inhibitors significantly reduced the ethanol-induced cell death. Ethanol also increased p53 phosphorylation, followed by an increase in p21 tumor suppressor protein and a decrease in phospho-Rb (retinoblastoma) protein, leading to alterations in the expressions and activity of cyclin dependent protein kinases. Our results suggest that ethanol mediates apoptosis of SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells by activating p53-related cell cycle arrest possibly through activation of the c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase-related cell death pathway.展开更多
The purpose of this study is to differentiate the gender into males and females based on prior research that children prefer different types of play depending on their gender,and to see what the relationship between t...The purpose of this study is to differentiate the gender into males and females based on prior research that children prefer different types of play depending on their gender,and to see what the relationship between their self-esteem and preferred types of play is.Random stratified method was used to collect study participants for this study.Elementary school students in Incheon Metropolitan City,Republic of Korea,were set up as a population,the city was divided into six areas in a similar area,and each school was numbered after identifying local elementary schools.A total of six schools were selected for each region by making random checks.A total of 18 classes were selected for each of the four,five,and six grades.A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed,but 381 of them were used for statistical analysis,except for 69 that were judged to have been poorly response.There were 215 male,166 female,151 in fourth grade,109 in fifth grade,and 121 in sixth grade.There are two questionnaires used in this study.First,to measure self-esteem,Rosengerg’s 10-item Self Esteem Scale was used to assess self-esteem.The scale,which provides a convenient measure of global attitudes about the self,has five negatively worded items and five positively worded items.This scale is one of the most widely used measures of self-esteem and has displayed good reliability and validity.Cronbach’s a showed 0.859.Second,to find out the preference for play types,we used those produced by Choi and Lee based on four types of play suggested by Roger Caillois.The questionnaire consists of four sub-variables:competition(Agon),chance(Alea),simulation(Mimicry)and vertigo(Ilinx).The Crombach’s a values are 0.705,0.694,0.786,and 0.722,respectively.The class teacher of the selected school was contacted and explained the purpose of the study and asked for consent.On the measurement date,we visited the class and conducted the measurement.Before measurement,we informed the purpose of the study again and asked for consent.The self-reported method was used to respond,and the measurement time was about 10 minutes.The responses were coded using the SPSS(win)15.0 program and frequency analysis was performed to characterize the data.The independent t-test was carried out to see if there was a difference between self-esteem and preferred types of play by gender.Correlation analysis was performed to see how self-esteem relates to the type of preferred play.All statistical significance levels are set as p<0.05.Children’s self-esteem does not differ depending on their gender.And it turned out that boys preferred competition,and girls preferred simulation,and chance and vertigo did not differ depending on gender.In male,a correlation between self-esteem and preference for play types has resulted in statistically significant correlation between self-esteem and competition,chance,and vertigo.In female,a correlation between self-esteem and preference for play types was performed in vertigo,where self-esteem was statistically significant.展开更多

The study explores the a...The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial patterns of location-based social network (LBSN) data in Seoul using the spatial analysis techniques of geographic information system (GIS). The study explores the applications of LBSN data by analyzing the association between Seoul’s Foursquare venues data created based on user participation and the city’s characteristics. The data regarding Foursquare venues were compiled with a program we created based on Foursquare’s Python API. The compiled information was converted into GIS data, which in turn was depicted as a heat map. Cluster analysis was then performed based on hotspots and the correlation with census variables was analyzed for each administrative unit using geographically weighted regression (GWR). Based on analytical results, we were able to identify venue clusters around city centers, as well as differences in hotspots for various venue categories and correlations with census variables.展开更多
The phenomenon of data explosion represents a severe challenge for the upcoming big data era.However,the current Internet architecture is insufficient for dealing with a huge amount of traffic owing to an increase in ...The phenomenon of data explosion represents a severe challenge for the upcoming big data era.However,the current Internet architecture is insufficient for dealing with a huge amount of traffic owing to an increase in redundant content transmission and the end-point-based communication model.Information-centric networking(ICN)is a paradigm for the future Internet that can be utilized to resolve the data explosion problem.In this paper,we focus on content-centric networking(CCN),one of the key candidate ICN architectures.CCN has been studied in various network environments with the aim of relieving network and server burden,especially in name-based forwarding and in-network caching functionalities.This paper studies the effect of several caching strategies in the CCN domain from the perspective of network and server overhead.Thus,we comprehensively analyze the in-network caching performance of CCN under several popular cache replication methods(i.e.,cache placement).We evaluate the performance with respect to wellknown Internet traffic patterns that follow certain probabilistic distributions,such as the Zipf/Mandelbrot–Zipf distributions,and flashcrowds.For the experiments,we developed an OPNET-based CCN simulator with a realistic Internet-like topology.展开更多
With an accelerating increase of business benefits produced from big data analytics (if used appropriately and intelligently by businesses in the private and public sectors), this study focused on empirically identify...With an accelerating increase of business benefits produced from big data analytics (if used appropriately and intelligently by businesses in the private and public sectors), this study focused on empirically identifying the big data analytics (BDA) attributes. These attributes were classified into four groups (i.e., value innovation, social impact, precision, and completeness of BDA quality) and were found to influence the decision-making performance and business performance outcomes. A structural equation modeling analysis using 382 responses from a BDA related to practitioners indicated that the attributes of representativeness, predictability, interpretability, and innovativeness as related to value innovation greatly enhanced the decision-making confidence and effectiveness of decision makers who make decisions using big data. In addition, individuality, collectivity, and willfulness, which are related to social impact, also greatly improved the decision-making confidence and effectiveness of the same decision makers. This shows that the value innovation and social impact, which have received relatively less attention in previous studies, are the crucial attributes for BDA quality as they influence the decision-making performance. Comprehensiveness, factuality, and realism, which are linked to completeness, also have similar results. Furthermore, the higher the decision-making confidence of the decision makers who used big data was, the higher the financial performance of their companies. In addition, high decision-making confidence using big data was found to improve the nonfinancial performance metrics such as customer satisfaction and quality levels as well as product development capabilities. High decision-making effectiveness with big data was also shown to improve the nonfinancial performance metrics.展开更多

文摘The purpose of this study is to differentiate the gender into males and females based on prior research that children prefer different types of play depending on their gender,and to see what the relationship between their self-esteem and preferred types of play is.Random stratified method was used to collect study participants for this study.Elementary school students in Incheon Metropolitan City,Republic of Korea,were set up as a population,the city was divided into six areas in a similar area,and each school was numbered after identifying local elementary schools.A total of six schools were selected for each region by making random checks.A total of 18 classes were selected for each of the four,five,and six grades.A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed,but 381 of them were used for statistical analysis,except for 69 that were judged to have been poorly response.There were 215 male,166 female,151 in fourth grade,109 in fifth grade,and 121 in sixth grade.There are two questionnaires used in this study.First,to measure self-esteem,Rosengerg’s 10-item Self Esteem Scale was used to assess self-esteem.The scale,which provides a convenient measure of global attitudes about the self,has five negatively worded items and five positively worded items.This scale is one of the most widely used measures of self-esteem and has displayed good reliability and validity.Cronbach’s a showed 0.859.Second,to find out the preference for play types,we used those produced by Choi and Lee based on four types of play suggested by Roger Caillois.The questionnaire consists of four sub-variables:competition(Agon),chance(Alea),simulation(Mimicry)and vertigo(Ilinx).The Crombach’s a values are 0.705,0.694,0.786,and 0.722,respectively.The class teacher of the selected school was contacted and explained the purpose of the study and asked for consent.On the measurement date,we visited the class and conducted the measurement.Before measurement,we informed the purpose of the study again and asked for consent.The self-reported method was used to respond,and the measurement time was about 10 minutes.The responses were coded using the SPSS(win)15.0 program and frequency analysis was performed to characterize the data.The independent t-test was carried out to see if there was a difference between self-esteem and preferred types of play by gender.Correlation analysis was performed to see how self-esteem relates to the type of preferred play.All statistical significance levels are set as p<0.05.Children’s self-esteem does not differ depending on their gender.And it turned out that boys preferred competition,and girls preferred simulation,and chance and vertigo did not differ depending on gender.In male,a correlation between self-esteem and preference for play types has resulted in statistically significant correlation between self-esteem and competition,chance,and vertigo.In female,a correlation between self-esteem and preference for play types was performed in vertigo,where self-esteem was statistically significant.
文摘The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial patterns of location-based social network (LBSN) data in Seoul using the spatial analysis techniques of geographic information system (GIS). The study explores the applications of LBSN data by analyzing the association between Seoul’s Foursquare venues data created based on user participation and the city’s characteristics. The data regarding Foursquare venues were compiled with a program we created based on Foursquare’s Python API. The compiled information was converted into GIS data, which in turn was depicted as a heat map. Cluster analysis was then performed based on hotspots and the correlation with census variables was analyzed for each administrative unit using geographically weighted regression (GWR). Based on analytical results, we were able to identify venue clusters around city centers, as well as differences in hotspots for various venue categories and correlations with census variables.

文摘The phenomenon of data explosion represents a severe challenge for the upcoming big data era.However,the current Internet architecture is insufficient for dealing with a huge amount of traffic owing to an increase in redundant content transmission and the end-point-based communication model.Information-centric networking(ICN)is a paradigm for the future Internet that can be utilized to resolve the data explosion problem.In this paper,we focus on content-centric networking(CCN),one of the key candidate ICN architectures.CCN has been studied in various network environments with the aim of relieving network and server burden,especially in name-based forwarding and in-network caching functionalities.This paper studies the effect of several caching strategies in the CCN domain from the perspective of network and server overhead.Thus,we comprehensively analyze the in-network caching performance of CCN under several popular cache replication methods(i.e.,cache placement).We evaluate the performance with respect to wellknown Internet traffic patterns that follow certain probabilistic distributions,such as the Zipf/Mandelbrot–Zipf distributions,and flashcrowds.For the experiments,we developed an OPNET-based CCN simulator with a realistic Internet-like topology.
文摘With an accelerating increase of business benefits produced from big data analytics (if used appropriately and intelligently by businesses in the private and public sectors), this study focused on empirically identifying the big data analytics (BDA) attributes. These attributes were classified into four groups (i.e., value innovation, social impact, precision, and completeness of BDA quality) and were found to influence the decision-making performance and business performance outcomes. A structural equation modeling analysis using 382 responses from a BDA related to practitioners indicated that the attributes of representativeness, predictability, interpretability, and innovativeness as related to value innovation greatly enhanced the decision-making confidence and effectiveness of decision makers who make decisions using big data. In addition, individuality, collectivity, and willfulness, which are related to social impact, also greatly improved the decision-making confidence and effectiveness of the same decision makers. This shows that the value innovation and social impact, which have received relatively less attention in previous studies, are the crucial attributes for BDA quality as they influence the decision-making performance. Comprehensiveness, factuality, and realism, which are linked to completeness, also have similar results. Furthermore, the higher the decision-making confidence of the decision makers who used big data was, the higher the financial performance of their companies. In addition, high decision-making confidence using big data was found to improve the nonfinancial performance metrics such as customer satisfaction and quality levels as well as product development capabilities. High decision-making effectiveness with big data was also shown to improve the nonfinancial performance metrics.
