The torsinability...The microstructure, texture characteristics and torsion ability of two kinds of steel wires were investigated. The eutectoid steel wires were produced by hot and cold drawing with severe deformation. The torsinability of steel wires was measured under two cases, i.e. there exists either fiber texture or circular texture. The results showed that the torsional behavior of the steel wires was affected by their textures and microstructures. The {110}<110> circular texture weakened the torsion ability of the wires. The torsion fracture behavior of {110}<110> texture wires is related to the fact that only two slip systems were activated under simple shear strain deformation.展开更多
Using molten Pb-Sn-Bi alloy, the meniscus shape under high frequency magnetic field of φ100 mm round billet caster was investigated. The effect of some parameters on meniscus shape was studied. The results show that ...Using molten Pb-Sn-Bi alloy, the meniscus shape under high frequency magnetic field of φ100 mm round billet caster was investigated. The effect of some parameters on meniscus shape was studied. The results show that for a mold with 12 segments, the meniscus shape is relatively stable. With increasing power input, the menis- cus height increases with intensification of fluctuation. For the given caster, the reasonable power input is about 70 kW. The coil should be near to the top of mold and/or the initial meniscus should be near to the center of the coil. The lower the frequency, the higher is the meniscus height. With increasing frequency, the free surface is more flattened and meniscus becomes more stable. In practice, the power input should be increased simultaneously with frequency. The optimal frequency is about 20 kHz.展开更多

This control algorithm is integrated with distributed control technique and intelligent control technique, and a three-leveled intelligent decoupling control system consisting of basic control level, coordinating control level, and management and decision level is developed. The configuration and function of the control system are discussed in detail. This system has been successfully applied in ball mill pulverizing systems of 200MW power units, and remarkable benefits have been obtained.展开更多

Firstly, a deky-dependent bounded real lemma(BRL) of the time-deky descriptorsystems is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) by using a descriptor modeltransformation of the system and by taking a new Lyapunov-Krasovsii functional. The introducedfunctional does not require bounding for cross terms, so it has less conservation. Secondly, withthe help of the obtained bounded real lemma, a sufficient condition for the existence of a newdeky-dependent H-infinity state-feedback controller is shown in terms of nonlinear matrixinequalities and the solvability of the problem can be obtained by using an iterative algorithminvolving convex optimization. The results showed that electromagnetic frequency greatly influenced segregation and microstructures of as-cast ingot, and product quality can be guaranteed by the application of a proper frequency. Electromagnetic frequency plays a significant role in solute redistribution; low frequency is more efficient for promoting solution of alloying elements.展开更多

When casting at710-750℃, fine and homogeneous spherical or elliptical grains of A2017 alloy were obtained.Extending forming mould has been designed and was installed at the exit of roll-shoe gap. A2017alloy was formed by extending continuously at the semisolid state on SRS machine. Throughcontrolling pouring temperature, semisolid forming and extending extrusion was combined organically.A2017 product with fine surface and rectangular transection of 14 mm x 25 mm was obtained. Bycontrast to the national standard, the fracture strength and elongation of A2017 products producedfrom extending semisolid extrusion have been improved with an increase of 100 MPa and 29%,respectively.展开更多

Furthermore, amultiaxial fatigue life prediction model including the parameters resulted from multiaxial cyclecounting is presented and applied to calculating the fatigue damage generated from each cycle.Finally, the cumulative damage is added up using Miner's linear rule, and the fatigue predictionlife is given. In present, retrogression and re-ageing (RRA)treatment, which can improve both strength and SCCR of 7XXX series alloy, is a best method to solvethis problem. The effect of RRA treatment on the microstructure evolution of a new type lowfrequency electric-magnetic casting Al-9.OZn-2.45Mg-2.2Cu-0.15Zr alloy was investigated using DSCand TEM technologies. The results show that the typical microstructure of the alloy at T6 conditionis characterized by both fine eta' and GP zone homogeneously distributed in the matrix andcontinuous r) particles occurred on the grain-boundary. After RRA treatment, the matrixprecipitations are mainly fine and dispersed eta' and eta phases, being coarser and more stable thanthat from T6 temper. While, the grain-boundary microstructure is very close to that resulting fromT73 temper. High retrogression temperature and long retrogression time leads to a more stablemicrostructure after re-ageing.展开更多

The key to its control and reduction lies on dynamic monitoring and early warning. The article points out the insufficiency of traditional measuring means applied for large-scale landslide monitoring and proposes the method for extensive landslide displacement field monitoring using high- resolution remote images. Matching of cognominal points is realized by using the invariant features of SIFT algorithm in image translation, rotation, zooming, and affine transformation, and through recognition and comparison of characteristics of high-resolution images in different landsliding periods. Following that, landslide displacement vector field can be made known by measuring the distances and directions between cognominal points. As evidenced by field application of the method for landslide monitoring at West Open Mine in Fushun city of China, the method has the attraction of being able to make areal measurement through satellite observation and capable of obtaining at the same time the information of large- area intensive displacement field, for facilitating automatic delimitation of extent of landslide displacement vector field and sliding mass. This can serve as a basis for making analysis of laws governing occurrence of landslide and adoption of countermeasures.展开更多

The magnetic fields and flow fields of melt were simulated with SEMS. It's shown that the electromagnetic forces with inward and sidelong components produced by travel magnetic field at the wide faces of slab make the melt whirling in horizontal section,and the convection of the melt is strengthened obviously there. In addition,magnetic flux density attenuates from the edge to the center of slab,and the profile of the melt velocity along slab thickness in the center of the horizontal section takes a two-opposite-peak configuration. Ultimately,the stirring intensity and features are determined by the electromagnetic parameters,coil arrangement and stirring types.展开更多

They are all small-sized birds with a few small teeth. The enantiornithine bird from the Jiufutang Formation in the Shangheshou area, Chaoyang, Liaoning Province reported in this paper is the largest individual known in all enantiornithine birds of the Early Cretaceous. However, its teeth possess a feature of pseudoheterodont. Some different development stages of the new teeth substitute the earlier stages and the stages of development are preserved in this specimen. This development pattern is similar to that of Archaeopteryx and alligator but not dinosaur. A well-developed postorbital was also preserved in the skull, which was a diapsidian skull like that of Confuciusornis. Additionally, the distinctive preservation of its prefrontal distinguishes it from other enantiornithine birds of the Early Cretaceous.展开更多

According to the features such as depth below surface, energy release rate (ERR), excess shear stress (ESS), geological structure, face angle with structure, distance from structure, extent of mining, mining type, width of bracket pillar, stope width, local support, regional support and gully support, rockburst risk is assessed either "Low", "Moderate", "High" or "Severe". A computer program system was developed by Turbo Prolog. The results of testing cases show its applicability of the system.展开更多

It's shown that the electromagnetic forces with inward and sidelong components produced by travel magnetic field at the wide faces of slab make the melt whirling in horizontal section,and the convection of the melt is strengthened obviously there. In addition,magnetic flux density attenuates from the edge to the center of slab,and the profile of the melt velocity along slab thickness in the center of the horizontal section takes a two-opposite-peak configuration. Ultimately,the stirring intensity and features are determined by the electromagnetic parameters,coil arrangement and stirring types.

文摘A Iarge number of enantiornithine birds are discovered from the Early Cretaceous Jiufutang Formation in western Liaoning, China. They are all small-sized birds with a few small teeth. The enantiornithine bird from the Jiufutang Formation in the Shangheshou area, Chaoyang, Liaoning Province reported in this paper is the largest individual known in all enantiornithine birds of the Early Cretaceous. However, its teeth possess a feature of pseudoheterodont. Some different development stages of the new teeth substitute the earlier stages and the stages of development are preserved in this specimen. This development pattern is similar to that of Archaeopteryx and alligator but not dinosaur. A well-developed postorbital was also preserved in the skull, which was a diapsidian skull like that of Confuciusornis. Additionally, the distinctive preservation of its prefrontal distinguishes it from other enantiornithine birds of the Early Cretaceous.

文摘Vibratory synchronization transmission (VST) is a kind of special physicalphenomenon in inertia vibration mechanical systems. For an inertia vibration mechanical systemdriven by one pair of motors runs in step, even the power supply of one motor is cut off, the motorcan continue to keep rotating state under the vibration exciting of the machine body driven by onlyone other motor. And its rotating frequency will be the same as that of the other one. The transientprocess of this wonderful physical phenomenon has not been described quantitatively according tocurrent-existing mechanical models. On the basis of investigation of the engineering characteristicsof VST, a mechanical and electrical coupling mathematical model of a two-shaft inertia vibrationmachine is established. With this model, the transient process of VST is recurred quantitatively andsuccessfully, and a reasonable explanation is given.
文摘New theories and technology in the electromagnetic field were put forward about DC casting of Al alloys, including the fundamental research works, i.e, effects of the electromagnetic field on solidus and liquidus, macrosegregation of the main alloying elements, microstructures, content of alloying elements in grains and grain size after solidification under electromagnetic field, and also including a new process DC casting under low frequency electromagnetic field(LFEMC), which can refine microstructure, eliminate macrosegregation, increase the content of alloying elements within grains, decrease the residual stress, avoid cracks and improve surface quality, and another new process DC casting under low frequency electromagnetic vibration(LFEVC), which is a high effective method for grain refining.
文摘For a class of systems with unmodeled dynamics, robust adaptive stabilization problemis considered in this paper. Firstly, by a series of coordinate changes, the original system is re-parameterized. Then, by introducing a reduced-order observer, an error system is obtained. Basedon the system, a reduced-order adaptive backstepping controller design scheme is given. It is provedthat all the signals in the adaptive control system are globally uniformly bounded, and the regulationerror converges to zero asymptotically. Due to the order deduction of the controller, the design schemein this paper has more practical values. A simulation example further demonstrates the e?ciency ofthe control scheme.
文摘Expert systems are methods that can cope with rock engineer’s expertise effectively.An expert system on assessing rockburst risks for South African deep gold mines is described.Expertise was represented by rules, frames and mathematical models integratively. About 950 rules was built in the knowledge base, which can be learned by the suggested learning algorithm. A new uncertain reasoning algorithm was proposed. According to the features such as depth below surface, energy release rate (ERR), excess shear stress (ESS), geological structure, face angle with structure, distance from structure, extent of mining, mining type, width of bracket pillar, stope width, local support, regional support and gully support, rockburst risk is assessed either "Low", "Moderate", "High" or "Severe". A computer program system was developed by Turbo Prolog. The results of testing cases show its applicability of the system.
