Forest resources play a vital role in supporting the livelihoods of rural communities residing in forest-rich areas.In India,a forest-rich country,a significant proportion of non-timber forest products(NTFPs)is consum...Forest resources play a vital role in supporting the livelihoods of rural communities residing in forest-rich areas.In India,a forest-rich country,a significant proportion of non-timber forest products(NTFPs)is consumed locally,supporting numerous rural communities relying on forests for essential resources,such as firewood,timber,and NTFPs.This study focuses on two forest-dominant districts in West Bengal of India,namely,Jhargram District and Paschim Medinipur District.Furthermore,this study aims to enhance the understanding of forest-dependent communities by comparing the standard of living among different village classes.Thus,we categorized villages into three classes based on the distance from home to forests,including inner villages,fringe villages,and outer villages.Through focus group discussions and household surveys,we explored the sources of local economy,income sources of household,and reasons for economic diversification in different village classes.The study findings confirm that substantial variations existed in the income sources and the standard of living in these villages.Forest income varied dramatically among the three village classes,with inner villages having greater forest income than fringe villages and outer villages.Meanwhile,households in outer villages depended on forests and engaged in diverse economic activities for their livelihoods.Compared with inner and fringe villages,households in outer villages derived a significant portion of their income from livestock.This discrepancy can be attributed to challenges,such as inadequate transportation,communication,and underdeveloped market chains in inner villages.Moreover,these findings emphasize the need to develop sustainable forest management practices,create alternative income-generation opportunities,and improve infrastructure and market access in inner villages,as well as promote economic diversification in outer villages.Through targeted policy measures,these forest-rich regions can achieve improved livelihoods,enhanced standard of living,and increased resilience for their communities.展开更多
Purpose-In order to solve the problem of inaccurate calculation of index weights,subjectivity and uncertainty of index assessment in the risk assessment process,this study aims to propose a scientific and reasonable c...Purpose-In order to solve the problem of inaccurate calculation of index weights,subjectivity and uncertainty of index assessment in the risk assessment process,this study aims to propose a scientific and reasonable centralized traffic control(CTC)system risk assessment method.Design/methodologylapproach-First,system-theoretic process analysis(STPA)is used to conduct risk analysis on the CTC system and constructs risk assessment indexes based on this analysis.Then,to enhance the accuracy of weight calculation,the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process(FAHP),fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory(FDEMATEL)and entropy weight method are employed to calculate the subjective weight,relative weight and objective weight of each index.These three types of weights are combined using game theory to obtain the combined weight for each index.To reduce subjectivity and uncertainty in the assessment process,the backward cloud generator method is utilized to obtain the numerical character(NC)of the cloud model for each index.The NCs of the indexes are then weighted to derive the comprehensive cloud for risk assessment of the CTC system.This cloud model is used to obtain the CTC system's comprehensive risk assessment.The model's similarity measurement method gauges the likeness between the comprehensive risk assessment cloud and the risk standard cloud.Finally,this process yields the risk assessment results for the CTC system.Findings-The cloud model can handle the subjectivity and fuzziness in the risk assessment process well.The cloud model-based risk assessment method was applied to the CTC system risk assessment of a railway group and achieved good results.Originality/value-This study provides a cloud model-based method for risk assessment of CTC systems,which accurately calculates the weight of risk indexes and uses cloud models to reduce uncertainty and subjectivity in the assessment,achieving effective risk assessment of CTC systems.It can provide a reference and theoretical basis for risk management of the CTC system.展开更多
Purpose-To optimize train operations,dispatchers currently rely on experience for quick adjustments when delays occur.However,delay predictions often involve imprecise shifts based on known delay times.Real-time and a...Purpose-To optimize train operations,dispatchers currently rely on experience for quick adjustments when delays occur.However,delay predictions often involve imprecise shifts based on known delay times.Real-time and accurate train delay predictions,facilitated by data-driven neural network models,can significantly reduce dispatcher stress and improve adjustment plans.Leveraging current train operation data,these models enable swift and precise predictions,addressing challenges posed by train delays in high-speed rail networks during unforeseen events.Design/methodology/approach-This paper proposes CBLA-net,a neural network architecture for predicting late arrival times.It combines CNN,Bi-LSTM,and attention mechanisms to extract features,handle time series data,and enhance information utilization.Trained on operational data from the Beijing-Tianjin line,it predicts the late arrival time of a target train at the next station using multidimensional input data from the target and preceding trains.Findings-This study evaluates our model’s predictive performance using two data approaches:one considering full data and another focusing only on late arrivals.Results show precise and rapid predictions.Training with full data achieves aMAEof approximately 0.54 minutes and a RMSEof 0.65 minutes,surpassing the model trained solely on delay data(MAE:is about 1.02 min,RMSE:is about 1.52 min).Despite superior overall performance with full data,the model excels at predicting delays exceeding 15 minutes when trained exclusively on late arrivals.For enhanced adaptability to real-world train operations,training with full data is recommended.Originality/value-This paper introduces a novel neural network model,CBLA-net,for predicting train delay times.It innovatively compares and analyzes the model’s performance using both full data and delay data formats.Additionally,the evaluation of the network’s predictive capabilities considers different scenarios,providing a comprehensive demonstration of the model’s predictive performance.展开更多

This research evaluated alternative hydrological models used in sizing urban drainage network projects in subdivisions with subsidized houses in the Amazonian region in Brazil. Statistical tests of these models were performed for both original and alternative scenarios. The methodological steps we conducted as follows: 1) evaluate the dimensioning of infrastructure project networks, considering two case studies contemplated by the Calha Norte Program (CNP) in the state of Amapá;2) test the statistical significance of the dimensioning of network diameters (α < 0.05), considering a) benchmark project (MD or M1) approved by the Ministry of Defense;b) determination of concentration time (C<sub>t</sub>) and rainfall intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) relationships, as well as estimating diameters using alternative models. The results indicated a significant influence on the diameters of the projected rainfall networks (p < 0.05), suggesting that alternative models predicted more unfavorable flow peaks than the original model. We conclude that the benchmarking model underestimated the diameter of the project compared to alternative models, which means the optimized C<sub>t</sub> parameter significantly impacts dimensioning estimates in rainwater projects in these Amazonian municipalities. This suggests that underestimated parameters in MD may cause inefficiency in the stormwater system projects in future similar scenarios.展开更多
Objective:This study aimed to describe the conflict management styles and identify factors affecting the conflict management styles of nurse managers.Materials and Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted by inte...Objective:This study aimed to describe the conflict management styles and identify factors affecting the conflict management styles of nurse managers.Materials and Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted by interviewing nurse managers with a questionnaire,including the Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II Form B,used to assess an individual’s approach to conflict management across five styles:cooperating,competing,compromising,obliging,and avoiding.Results:A total of 30 nurse managers participated in this study.The mean scores of the cooperating style were the highest at 4.3±0.4,followed by a compromising style at 3.4±0.5,an avoiding style at 3.1±0.6,an accommodating style at 2.9±0.7,and a competing style at 2.8±0.8(χ^(2)=66.624,P<0.001).The mean scores for avoiding style among bachelor’s degree nurse managers(3.2±0.6)were higher than those of master’s degree nurse managers(2.7±0.6)(P=0.036).Nurse managers over 40 years old,holding a managerial position for≥10 years,and frequent conflict handling rated higher mean scores for the cooperating style than their counterparts(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cooperating style was the most commonly used conflict management style among nurse managers.Factors affecting the conflict management style were age,education level,and experience in management and conflict handling.These findings are useful for developing interventions that enhance the competencies of nurse managers in conflict management.展开更多
Objective:To explore the protective effect and possible mechanism of action of Zhuyu Annao pill in mice with intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Methods:Sixty mice were divided into the control group,hemorrhage group,drug-t...Objective:To explore the protective effect and possible mechanism of action of Zhuyu Annao pill in mice with intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Methods:Sixty mice were divided into the control group,hemorrhage group,drug-treated group(after hemorrhage),TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group(after hemorrhage) with 12 in each group.Model of autologous ICH was established in all groups.After drilling and 12 h of fasting,models in the control group hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group were all drenched with 10 mL/kg distilled water by intragastric administration.Models in the drug-treated group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drugtreated group were drenched with 6.25 g/kg of Zhuyu Annao pill.All groups were treated for 7 d.Longa scoring method was used to measure the neurological defect scores and determine the brain water contents of all groups;ELISA was employed to detect the inflammatory factor interleukin(IL)-6,tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) and IL-1β in brain tissues;and Western blot was applied to test the expression quantities of apoptotic protein Bax and anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in brain tissues.Results:At day 3 and7,compared with the hemorrhage group,the neurological defect scores of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group decreased significantly(P<0.05) Compared with the hemorrhage group,the brain water contents of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group reduced significantly(P<0.05) Compared with the hemorrhage group,the inflammatory factor IL-6,TNF-α and IL-1β of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group decreased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the hemorrhage group,the expression of apoptotic protein Bax of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage+ drug-treated group decreased significantly and the expression of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusions:Zhuyu Annao pill can alleviateencephaledema for mice with ICH and reduce inflammatory responsesandnerve cell apoptosis.TLR4 can mediate inflammatory injury induced by ICH.Thus,Zhuyu Annao pill can play a protective role for brains by decreasing the expression of TLR4.展开更多

The catalyst of sodium salt of tungstic acid with Co as central atom (Na5CoW12O40) showed optimum activity towards transesterification compared with other heteropoly tungstates. The catalysts activities were correlated with the observed physico-chemical characteristics derived from FT-infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia (NH3-TPD) and carbon dioxide (CO2-TPD). The Na5CoW12O40 catalyst exhibiting high activity even at 65 ℃ is due to the presence of strong acidic as well as basic sites. The disclosed catalyst is tolerable towards water and free fatty acids present in the oils. The influence of catalyst loading, reaction time and reaction temperature is studied to optimize the reaction parameters.展开更多
BACKGROUND Antiviral therapy cannot completely block the progression of hepatitis B to hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Furthermore,there are few predictors of early HCC progression and limited strategies to prevent prog...BACKGROUND Antiviral therapy cannot completely block the progression of hepatitis B to hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Furthermore,there are few predictors of early HCC progression and limited strategies to prevent progression in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis who receive nucleos(t)ide analog(NA)therapy.AIM The study aim was to clarify risk factors and the diagnostic value of alphafetoprotein(AFP)for HCC progression in NA-treated hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis patients.METHODS In this retrospective cross-sectional study,we analyzed the clinical data of 266 patients with HBV-related cirrhosis who received NA treatment between February 2014 and April 2020 at Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital.The patients were divided into two groups,145 who did not progress to HCC(No-HCC group),and 121 who progressed to HCC during NA treatment(HCC group).The logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of HCC progression.The diagnostic value of AFP for HCC was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.RESULTS Univariate analysis showed that age≥60 years(P=0.001),hepatitis B and alcoholic etiology(P=0.007),smoking history(P<0.001),family history of HBV-related HCC(P=0.002),lamivudine resistance(P=0.011),HBV DNA negative(P=0.023),aspartate aminotransferase>80 U/L(P=0.002),gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase>120 U/L(P=0.001),alkaline phosphatase>250 U/L(P=0.001),fasting blood glucose(FBG)≥6.16(mmol/L)(P=0.001)and Child-Pugh class C(P=0.005)were correlated with HCC progression.In multivariate analysis,age≥60 years[hazard ratio(HR)=3.089,95%confidence interval(CI):1.437-6.631,P=0.004],smoking history(HR=4.001,95%CI:1.836-8.716,P<0.01),family history of HBV-related HCC(HR=6.763,95%CI:1.253-36.499,P<0.05),lamivudine resistance(HR=2.949,95%CI:1.207-7.208,P=0.018),HBV DNA negative(HR=0.026,95%CI:0.007-0.139,P<0.01),FBG≥6.16 mmol/L(HR=7.219,95%CI:3.716-14.024,P<0.01)were independent risk factors of HCC progression.ROC of AFP for diagnosis of HCC was 0.746(95%CI:0.674-0.818).A cutoff value of AFP of 9.00 ug/L had a sensitivity of 0.609,and specificity of 0.818 for diagnosing HCC.CONCLUSION Age≥60 years,smoking history,family history of HCC,lamivudine resistance,HBV DNA negative,FBG≥6.16 mmol/L were risk factors of HCC progression.Serum AFP had limited diagnostic value for HCC.展开更多

Fe_(3)O_(4)magnetic xerogel composites were prepared by polycondensation of resorcinol(R)-formaldehyde reaction via a sol-gel process in an aqueous solution through varying the molar ratio of Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(...Fe_(3)O_(4)magnetic xerogel composites were prepared by polycondensation of resorcinol(R)-formaldehyde reaction via a sol-gel process in an aqueous solution through varying the molar ratio of Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(MNPs),catalyst(C),and water(W)content.MNPs were obtained by co-precipitation(MC),oxidation of iron salts(MO),or solvothermal synthesis(MS).Both MNPs and magnetic xerogels were examined regarding the performance of arsenic and fluoride removal in a batch system.The MC-based MNPs had higher adsorption capacities for both fluoride(202.9 mg/g)and arsenic(3.2 mg/g)than other MNPs in optimum conditions.The X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy confirmed that Fe was composed into the polymeric matrix of magnetic xerogels that contained 0.59%-4.42%of Fe with a molar ratio of MNPs(M)to R between 0.01 and 0.10.With low R/C and optimum M/R ratios,an increase in the surface area of magnetic xerogels affected the fluoride and arsenic adsorption capacities.The magnetic xerogel composites with the MC-based MNPs prepared at a fixed R/C ratio(100)and at different R/W(0.05-0.06)and M/R(0.07-0.10)ratios had a high arsenic removal efficiency of 100%at an As(V)concentration of 0.1 mg/L and pH of 3.0.The maximum adsorption capacities of magnetic xerogels were approximately five times higher than those of the xerogels without MNP composites.Therefore,Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles enhanced the adsorption of arsenate and fluoride.The variations of alkaline catalyst and water content significantly affected the resulting properties of textural and surface chemistry of magnetic xerogel composites.展开更多

The spatio-temporal variation of these facies associations and palaeocurrent trends suggest tide dominated estuarine system. The estuaries were operational along a 60 km long NW-SE trending palaeo-shoreline. The Patherwa Formation grades up-section into facies packages of increasing tidal energy and terminate with the deposition within the upper flow regime estuarine settings.展开更多

The germination percentage and th...Germinating wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seeds were exposed to CdCI2 (50, 100 and 200 μM) for 48 h and some aspects of oxidative metabolism was assessed in the embryonic tissues. The germination percentage and the soluble protein content of the embryonic tissues were found to decrease with increasing of Cd concentration. There was elevation in superoxide dismutase (SOD) and decline in catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POX) activities. The increasing of lipid peroxidation levels indicated the prevalence of oxidative stress in the tissues which was probably due to the alteration of antioxidative enzymes activities. The adding of ascorbate, along with CdCl2, has resulted in restoration of the Cd induced decline in CAT activity. Weakening in H2O2 detoxification system seems to be the principal reason behind Cd induced oxidative stress in germinating seeds. Thus, imposition of oxidative stress might be the consequence of cadmium stress and this finding may help in elucidating the mechanisms underlying cadmium mediated toxicity in germinating seeds.展开更多

The result showed that 1∶1 complex was predominant in these systems. The relaxation time showed a linear dependence with alkyl chain length of both alcohols and acrylic esters, but the dielectric constant showed a reverse trend. A comparative study of the free energy of activation for the dielectric relaxation and viscous flow suggested that a greater interference by neighboring atom was observed in the process of viscous flow than in dielectric relaxation, as the latter involved rotational form of motion, whereas the viscous flow involved both rotational and translational forms of motion.展开更多

Results were compared with the quantum calculations using density functional theory. The charge derived properties including Mulliken atomic charges, dipole moment, and molecular electrostatic potential were calculated. The multipole analysis was done for the refinement of experimental population parameters. The structure factors obtained from multipole treat- ment were used for the construction of Fourier maps. The genus Saraca L.(Leguminosae)is a universal panacea in herbal medicine.The present study investigates the comparative pollen morphology of four species of Saraca viz.S.asoca(Roxb.)de Wilde,S.declinata(Jack)Miq.,S.i...The genus Saraca L.(Leguminosae)is a universal panacea in herbal medicine.The present study investigates the comparative pollen morphology of four species of Saraca viz.S.asoca(Roxb.)de Wilde,S.declinata(Jack)Miq.,S.indica L.,and S.thaipingensis Cantley ex Prain growing in India to reveal differences of their pollen structures to aid taxonomic and evolutionary values.The detailed morphology and surface structure of pollen grains were studied and described using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.The pollen grains of Saraca showed isopolar,para-syncolporate,tricolporate,with radially symmetric,prolate and prolate-spheroidal structure.The surface of pollen of S.indica is rugulate with large lirae but in S.declinata,the surface is micro-rugulate to vermiculate with relatively thin lirae and that of S.thaipingensis is indistinct as the psilate surface with a frequent protuberance and fewer perforations were observed along with the gemmae like structure.Exine ornamentation helped to separate S.indica and S.asoca.Exine thickness varies from 3-4μm.Presence of protuberance and exine thickness varies among individuals of the species spread over different locations.Present work also provides a unique palynological identity and interrelationship of these four species based on cluster analysis taking 23 pollen characters with the help of statistical method like the plotting of ternary graph.Ternary plots also helped to calculate the level of plasticity of each character in the intra-and inter-specific level.展开更多
文摘Aiming to mitigate the aerodynamic lift force imbalance between pantograph strips,which exacerbates wear and affects the current collection performance of the pantograph-catenary system,a study has been conducted to support the beam deflector optimization using a combination of experimental measurements and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations.The results demonstrate that the size,position,and installation orientation of the wind deflectors significantly influence the amount of force compensation.They also indicate that the front strip deflectors should be installed downwards and the rear strip deflectors upwards,thereby forming a“π”shape.Moreover,the lift force compensation provided by the wind deflectors increases with the size of the deflector.Alternative wind compensation strategies,such as control circuits,are also discussed,putting emphasis on the pros and cons of various pantograph types and wind compensation approaches.

文摘Forest resources play a vital role in supporting the livelihoods of rural communities residing in forest-rich areas.In India,a forest-rich country,a significant proportion of non-timber forest products(NTFPs)is consumed locally,supporting numerous rural communities relying on forests for essential resources,such as firewood,timber,and NTFPs.This study focuses on two forest-dominant districts in West Bengal of India,namely,Jhargram District and Paschim Medinipur District.Furthermore,this study aims to enhance the understanding of forest-dependent communities by comparing the standard of living among different village classes.Thus,we categorized villages into three classes based on the distance from home to forests,including inner villages,fringe villages,and outer villages.Through focus group discussions and household surveys,we explored the sources of local economy,income sources of household,and reasons for economic diversification in different village classes.The study findings confirm that substantial variations existed in the income sources and the standard of living in these villages.Forest income varied dramatically among the three village classes,with inner villages having greater forest income than fringe villages and outer villages.Meanwhile,households in outer villages depended on forests and engaged in diverse economic activities for their livelihoods.Compared with inner and fringe villages,households in outer villages derived a significant portion of their income from livestock.This discrepancy can be attributed to challenges,such as inadequate transportation,communication,and underdeveloped market chains in inner villages.Moreover,these findings emphasize the need to develop sustainable forest management practices,create alternative income-generation opportunities,and improve infrastructure and market access in inner villages,as well as promote economic diversification in outer villages.Through targeted policy measures,these forest-rich regions can achieve improved livelihoods,enhanced standard of living,and increased resilience for their communities.

文摘Purpose-In order to solve the problem of inaccurate calculation of index weights,subjectivity and uncertainty of index assessment in the risk assessment process,this study aims to propose a scientific and reasonable centralized traffic control(CTC)system risk assessment method.Design/methodologylapproach-First,system-theoretic process analysis(STPA)is used to conduct risk analysis on the CTC system and constructs risk assessment indexes based on this analysis.Then,to enhance the accuracy of weight calculation,the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process(FAHP),fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory(FDEMATEL)and entropy weight method are employed to calculate the subjective weight,relative weight and objective weight of each index.These three types of weights are combined using game theory to obtain the combined weight for each index.To reduce subjectivity and uncertainty in the assessment process,the backward cloud generator method is utilized to obtain the numerical character(NC)of the cloud model for each index.The NCs of the indexes are then weighted to derive the comprehensive cloud for risk assessment of the CTC system.This cloud model is used to obtain the CTC system's comprehensive risk assessment.The model's similarity measurement method gauges the likeness between the comprehensive risk assessment cloud and the risk standard cloud.Finally,this process yields the risk assessment results for the CTC system.Findings-The cloud model can handle the subjectivity and fuzziness in the risk assessment process well.The cloud model-based risk assessment method was applied to the CTC system risk assessment of a railway group and achieved good results.Originality/value-This study provides a cloud model-based method for risk assessment of CTC systems,which accurately calculates the weight of risk indexes and uses cloud models to reduce uncertainty and subjectivity in the assessment,achieving effective risk assessment of CTC systems.It can provide a reference and theoretical basis for risk management of the CTC system.

文摘Purpose-To optimize train operations,dispatchers currently rely on experience for quick adjustments when delays occur.However,delay predictions often involve imprecise shifts based on known delay times.Real-time and accurate train delay predictions,facilitated by data-driven neural network models,can significantly reduce dispatcher stress and improve adjustment plans.Leveraging current train operation data,these models enable swift and precise predictions,addressing challenges posed by train delays in high-speed rail networks during unforeseen events.Design/methodology/approach-This paper proposes CBLA-net,a neural network architecture for predicting late arrival times.It combines CNN,Bi-LSTM,and attention mechanisms to extract features,handle time series data,and enhance information utilization.Trained on operational data from the Beijing-Tianjin line,it predicts the late arrival time of a target train at the next station using multidimensional input data from the target and preceding trains.Findings-This study evaluates our model’s predictive performance using two data approaches:one considering full data and another focusing only on late arrivals.Results show precise and rapid predictions.Training with full data achieves aMAEof approximately 0.54 minutes and a RMSEof 0.65 minutes,surpassing the model trained solely on delay data(MAE:is about 1.02 min,RMSE:is about 1.52 min).Despite superior overall performance with full data,the model excels at predicting delays exceeding 15 minutes when trained exclusively on late arrivals.For enhanced adaptability to real-world train operations,training with full data is recommended.Originality/value-This paper introduces a novel neural network model,CBLA-net,for predicting train delay times.It innovatively compares and analyzes the model’s performance using both full data and delay data formats.Additionally,the evaluation of the network’s predictive capabilities considers different scenarios,providing a comprehensive demonstration of the model’s predictive performance.
文摘Bone regeneration is a critical area in regenerative medicine,particularly in orthopedics,demanding effective biomedical materials for treating bone defects.45S5 bioactive glass(45S5 BG)is a promising material because of its osteoconductive and bioactive properties.As research in this field continues to advance,keeping up-to-date on the latest and most successful applications of this material is imperative.To achieve this,we conducted a comprehensive search on Pub-Med/MEDLINE,focusing on English articles published in the last decade.Our search used the keywords“bioglass 45S5 AND bone defect”in combination.We found 27 articles,and after applying the inclusion criteria,we selected 15 studies for detailed examination.Most of these studies compared 45S5 BG with other cement or scaffold materials.These comparisons demonstrate that the addition of various composites enhances cellular biocompatibility,as evidenced by the cells and their osteogenic potential.Moreover,the use of 45S5 BG is enhanced by its antimicrobial properties,opening avenues for additional investigations and applications of this biomaterial.

文摘Purpose–This study aims to improve the rules and regulations system of high-speed rail emergency disposal.Design/methodology/approach–Based on the analysis of the demands,rules and regulations of China concerning on-site high-speed rail emergency disposal,basic principles for revising the regulations on railway technical management(RRTM)are proposed and suggestions and evaluation methods according to the main clauses are put forward.Findings–Basic principles for revising the RRTM are proposed,namely“to meet the actual needs of on-site high-speed railway emergency disposal,standardize the emergency disposal process,improve the efficiency of emergency disposal and keep the consistency between provisions of emergency disposal”.Existing provisions related to emergency disposal efficiency,scenarios,safety and service quality are made up for the deficiencies.To make up for the deficiencies of the existing provisions related to emergency disposal efficiency,improvement of emergency disposal scenarios and guarantee of emergency disposal safety and quality,this paper puts forward suggestions on revising 15 emergency disposal provisions of the RRTM with regard to earthquake monitoring and warning,in-station foreign body invasion warning,air conditioning failure of EMU trains and forced parking of trains in sections.A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is constructed to evaluate the proposed revision scheme and suggestions,which has been highly recognized by experts.Originality/value–This study implements the goal of high-quality railway development.
文摘Hydrological studies for sizing urban drainage systems in the Amazon have often been neglected and little investigated for rainwater projects. This research evaluated alternative hydrological models used in sizing urban drainage network projects in subdivisions with subsidized houses in the Amazonian region in Brazil. Statistical tests of these models were performed for both original and alternative scenarios. The methodological steps we conducted as follows: 1) evaluate the dimensioning of infrastructure project networks, considering two case studies contemplated by the Calha Norte Program (CNP) in the state of Amapá;2) test the statistical significance of the dimensioning of network diameters (α < 0.05), considering a) benchmark project (MD or M1) approved by the Ministry of Defense;b) determination of concentration time (C<sub>t</sub>) and rainfall intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) relationships, as well as estimating diameters using alternative models. The results indicated a significant influence on the diameters of the projected rainfall networks (p < 0.05), suggesting that alternative models predicted more unfavorable flow peaks than the original model. We conclude that the benchmarking model underestimated the diameter of the project compared to alternative models, which means the optimized C<sub>t</sub> parameter significantly impacts dimensioning estimates in rainwater projects in these Amazonian municipalities. This suggests that underestimated parameters in MD may cause inefficiency in the stormwater system projects in future similar scenarios.
文摘Objective:This study aimed to describe the conflict management styles and identify factors affecting the conflict management styles of nurse managers.Materials and Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted by interviewing nurse managers with a questionnaire,including the Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II Form B,used to assess an individual’s approach to conflict management across five styles:cooperating,competing,compromising,obliging,and avoiding.Results:A total of 30 nurse managers participated in this study.The mean scores of the cooperating style were the highest at 4.3±0.4,followed by a compromising style at 3.4±0.5,an avoiding style at 3.1±0.6,an accommodating style at 2.9±0.7,and a competing style at 2.8±0.8(χ^(2)=66.624,P<0.001).The mean scores for avoiding style among bachelor’s degree nurse managers(3.2±0.6)were higher than those of master’s degree nurse managers(2.7±0.6)(P=0.036).Nurse managers over 40 years old,holding a managerial position for≥10 years,and frequent conflict handling rated higher mean scores for the cooperating style than their counterparts(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cooperating style was the most commonly used conflict management style among nurse managers.Factors affecting the conflict management style were age,education level,and experience in management and conflict handling.These findings are useful for developing interventions that enhance the competencies of nurse managers in conflict management.

文摘Objective:To explore the protective effect and possible mechanism of action of Zhuyu Annao pill in mice with intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Methods:Sixty mice were divided into the control group,hemorrhage group,drug-treated group(after hemorrhage),TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group(after hemorrhage) with 12 in each group.Model of autologous ICH was established in all groups.After drilling and 12 h of fasting,models in the control group hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group were all drenched with 10 mL/kg distilled water by intragastric administration.Models in the drug-treated group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drugtreated group were drenched with 6.25 g/kg of Zhuyu Annao pill.All groups were treated for 7 d.Longa scoring method was used to measure the neurological defect scores and determine the brain water contents of all groups;ELISA was employed to detect the inflammatory factor interleukin(IL)-6,tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) and IL-1β in brain tissues;and Western blot was applied to test the expression quantities of apoptotic protein Bax and anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in brain tissues.Results:At day 3 and7,compared with the hemorrhage group,the neurological defect scores of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group decreased significantly(P<0.05) Compared with the hemorrhage group,the brain water contents of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group reduced significantly(P<0.05) Compared with the hemorrhage group,the inflammatory factor IL-6,TNF-α and IL-1β of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage + drug-treated group decreased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the hemorrhage group,the expression of apoptotic protein Bax of the drug-treated group,TLR4-knockout hemorrhage group and TLR4-knockout hemorrhage+ drug-treated group decreased significantly and the expression of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusions:Zhuyu Annao pill can alleviateencephaledema for mice with ICH and reduce inflammatory responsesandnerve cell apoptosis.TLR4 can mediate inflammatory injury induced by ICH.Thus,Zhuyu Annao pill can play a protective role for brains by decreasing the expression of TLR4.
文摘Alkali salts of tungsten based heteropoly acids with different central atom such as P, Si and Co were prepared and evaluated for transes- terification of both edible and non-edible oils to their corresponding fatty acid methyl esters. The catalyst of sodium salt of tungstic acid with Co as central atom (Na5CoW12O40) showed optimum activity towards transesterification compared with other heteropoly tungstates. The catalysts activities were correlated with the observed physico-chemical characteristics derived from FT-infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia (NH3-TPD) and carbon dioxide (CO2-TPD). The Na5CoW12O40 catalyst exhibiting high activity even at 65 ℃ is due to the presence of strong acidic as well as basic sites. The disclosed catalyst is tolerable towards water and free fatty acids present in the oils. The influence of catalyst loading, reaction time and reaction temperature is studied to optimize the reaction parameters.
文摘BACKGROUND Antiviral therapy cannot completely block the progression of hepatitis B to hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Furthermore,there are few predictors of early HCC progression and limited strategies to prevent progression in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis who receive nucleos(t)ide analog(NA)therapy.AIM The study aim was to clarify risk factors and the diagnostic value of alphafetoprotein(AFP)for HCC progression in NA-treated hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis patients.METHODS In this retrospective cross-sectional study,we analyzed the clinical data of 266 patients with HBV-related cirrhosis who received NA treatment between February 2014 and April 2020 at Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital.The patients were divided into two groups,145 who did not progress to HCC(No-HCC group),and 121 who progressed to HCC during NA treatment(HCC group).The logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of HCC progression.The diagnostic value of AFP for HCC was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.RESULTS Univariate analysis showed that age≥60 years(P=0.001),hepatitis B and alcoholic etiology(P=0.007),smoking history(P<0.001),family history of HBV-related HCC(P=0.002),lamivudine resistance(P=0.011),HBV DNA negative(P=0.023),aspartate aminotransferase>80 U/L(P=0.002),gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase>120 U/L(P=0.001),alkaline phosphatase>250 U/L(P=0.001),fasting blood glucose(FBG)≥6.16(mmol/L)(P=0.001)and Child-Pugh class C(P=0.005)were correlated with HCC progression.In multivariate analysis,age≥60 years[hazard ratio(HR)=3.089,95%confidence interval(CI):1.437-6.631,P=0.004],smoking history(HR=4.001,95%CI:1.836-8.716,P<0.01),family history of HBV-related HCC(HR=6.763,95%CI:1.253-36.499,P<0.05),lamivudine resistance(HR=2.949,95%CI:1.207-7.208,P=0.018),HBV DNA negative(HR=0.026,95%CI:0.007-0.139,P<0.01),FBG≥6.16 mmol/L(HR=7.219,95%CI:3.716-14.024,P<0.01)were independent risk factors of HCC progression.ROC of AFP for diagnosis of HCC was 0.746(95%CI:0.674-0.818).A cutoff value of AFP of 9.00 ug/L had a sensitivity of 0.609,and specificity of 0.818 for diagnosing HCC.CONCLUSION Age≥60 years,smoking history,family history of HCC,lamivudine resistance,HBV DNA negative,FBG≥6.16 mmol/L were risk factors of HCC progression.Serum AFP had limited diagnostic value for HCC.

文摘Gentianine has been shown to have a protective effect on hippocampal CA1 neurons in rats subjected to recurrent febrile convulsion(FC).The present study sought to explore the possible mechanism of gentianine by intraperitoneally injecting gentianine into rats with warm water-induced FC.The results revealed that neuronal organelle injury was slightly ameliorated in the hippocampal CA1 region.The level of glutamate was decreased,but the level of γ-aminobutyric acid was increased,as detected by ninhydrin staining.In addition,glutamate acid decarboxylase expression in hippocampal CA1 was increased,as determined by immunohistochemistry.The results demonstrated that gentianine can ameliorate FC-induced neuronal injury by enhancing glutamate acid decarboxylase activity,decreasing glutamate levels and increasing γ-aminobutyric acid levels.

文摘Fe_(3)O_(4)magnetic xerogel composites were prepared by polycondensation of resorcinol(R)-formaldehyde reaction via a sol-gel process in an aqueous solution through varying the molar ratio of Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(MNPs),catalyst(C),and water(W)content.MNPs were obtained by co-precipitation(MC),oxidation of iron salts(MO),or solvothermal synthesis(MS).Both MNPs and magnetic xerogels were examined regarding the performance of arsenic and fluoride removal in a batch system.The MC-based MNPs had higher adsorption capacities for both fluoride(202.9 mg/g)and arsenic(3.2 mg/g)than other MNPs in optimum conditions.The X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy confirmed that Fe was composed into the polymeric matrix of magnetic xerogels that contained 0.59%-4.42%of Fe with a molar ratio of MNPs(M)to R between 0.01 and 0.10.With low R/C and optimum M/R ratios,an increase in the surface area of magnetic xerogels affected the fluoride and arsenic adsorption capacities.The magnetic xerogel composites with the MC-based MNPs prepared at a fixed R/C ratio(100)and at different R/W(0.05-0.06)and M/R(0.07-0.10)ratios had a high arsenic removal efficiency of 100%at an As(V)concentration of 0.1 mg/L and pH of 3.0.The maximum adsorption capacities of magnetic xerogels were approximately five times higher than those of the xerogels without MNP composites.Therefore,Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles enhanced the adsorption of arsenate and fluoride.The variations of alkaline catalyst and water content significantly affected the resulting properties of textural and surface chemistry of magnetic xerogel composites.
文摘The present study documents three facies associations recorded from the Patherwa Formation. These facies are related to tidally influenced fluvial channel (Facies association A), tidal channel (Facies association B) and tidal sand bar/tidal flat sandy facies (Facies association C). The spatio-temporal variation of these facies associations and palaeocurrent trends suggest tide dominated estuarine system. The estuaries were operational along a 60 km long NW-SE trending palaeo-shoreline. The Patherwa Formation grades up-section into facies packages of increasing tidal energy and terminate with the deposition within the upper flow regime estuarine settings.
文摘Germinating wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seeds were exposed to CdCI2 (50, 100 and 200 μM) for 48 h and some aspects of oxidative metabolism was assessed in the embryonic tissues. The germination percentage and the soluble protein content of the embryonic tissues were found to decrease with increasing of Cd concentration. There was elevation in superoxide dismutase (SOD) and decline in catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POX) activities. The increasing of lipid peroxidation levels indicated the prevalence of oxidative stress in the tissues which was probably due to the alteration of antioxidative enzymes activities. The adding of ascorbate, along with CdCl2, has resulted in restoration of the Cd induced decline in CAT activity. Weakening in H2O2 detoxification system seems to be the principal reason behind Cd induced oxidative stress in germinating seeds. Thus, imposition of oxidative stress might be the consequence of cadmium stress and this finding may help in elucidating the mechanisms underlying cadmium mediated toxicity in germinating seeds.
文摘Dielectric relaxation of alcohols (1-propanol, 1-butanol, sec-butanol, tert-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-heptanol, 1-octanol, and 1-decanol) with acrylic esters (methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, and butyl methacrylate) at 9.84 GHz were studied in n-heptane at 298 K. The result showed that 1∶1 complex was predominant in these systems. The relaxation time showed a linear dependence with alkyl chain length of both alcohols and acrylic esters, but the dielectric constant showed a reverse trend. A comparative study of the free energy of activation for the dielectric relaxation and viscous flow suggested that a greater interference by neighboring atom was observed in the process of viscous flow than in dielectric relaxation, as the latter involved rotational form of motion, whereas the viscous flow involved both rotational and translational forms of motion.

文摘Nitric oxide(NO)and its reaction products were key players in the pathophysiology of sepsis and shock.The present study was designed to explore the effects of lanthanum chloride(LaCl3)on inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)expression,at both gene and protein levels,in RAW264.7 macrophages induced by Lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),immunofluorescence,and western blot were employed to measure iNOS gene expression,localization,and protein expression respectively.NO production in culture supernatants was detected by the nitrate reductase method.The results showed that LaCl3 significantly attenuated the iNOS gene and protein expression,as well as NO production in RAW264.7cells induced by LPS.
文摘Charge density distribution in ampicillin trihydrate was investigated experimentally. Results were compared with the quantum calculations using density functional theory. The charge derived properties including Mulliken atomic charges, dipole moment, and molecular electrostatic potential were calculated. The multipole analysis was done for the refinement of experimental population parameters. The structure factors obtained from multipole treat- ment were used for the construction of Fourier maps. Topological properties of the charge distribution were discussed and the characteristics of (3, -1) critical points were analyzed.
文摘The genus Saraca L.(Leguminosae)is a universal panacea in herbal medicine.The present study investigates the comparative pollen morphology of four species of Saraca viz.S.asoca(Roxb.)de Wilde,S.declinata(Jack)Miq.,S.indica L.,and S.thaipingensis Cantley ex Prain growing in India to reveal differences of their pollen structures to aid taxonomic and evolutionary values.The detailed morphology and surface structure of pollen grains were studied and described using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.The pollen grains of Saraca showed isopolar,para-syncolporate,tricolporate,with radially symmetric,prolate and prolate-spheroidal structure.The surface of pollen of S.indica is rugulate with large lirae but in S.declinata,the surface is micro-rugulate to vermiculate with relatively thin lirae and that of S.thaipingensis is indistinct as the psilate surface with a frequent protuberance and fewer perforations were observed along with the gemmae like structure.Exine ornamentation helped to separate S.indica and S.asoca.Exine thickness varies from 3-4μm.Presence of protuberance and exine thickness varies among individuals of the species spread over different locations.Present work also provides a unique palynological identity and interrelationship of these four species based on cluster analysis taking 23 pollen characters with the help of statistical method like the plotting of ternary graph.Ternary plots also helped to calculate the level of plasticity of each character in the intra-and inter-specific level.
