Asymptotic self-similar solutions for the constant kernel, sum kernel, and product kernel are achieved by introduction of different generating functions. In these solutions, two size-scale variables are introduced to characterize the asymptotic distribution of total mass and individual masses. The result of product kernel (gelling kernel) is consistent with the Vigli-Ziff conjecture to some extent. Furthermore, the steady-state solution with injection for the constant kernel is obtained, which is again the product of a normal distribution and the scaling solution for the single variable coagulation.展开更多

Net CO2 assimilation rate decreased to 16% of the control after 20 d high-temperature stress, and thus the absorption of photon energy exceeded the energy required for CO2 assimilation. The efficiency of excitation energy capture by open photosystem Ⅱ(PSⅡ) reaction centres (Fv'/Fm') at moderate irradiance, photochemical quenching (qp), and the quantum yield of PSII electron transport (φPSⅡ) were significantly lower after high-temperature stress. Nevertheless, non-photochemical quenching (qNP) and energy-dependent quenching (qE) were significantly higher under such conditions. The post-irradiation transient of chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence significantly increased after the turnoff of the actinic light (AL), and this increase was considerably higher in the 39 ℃-grown seedlings than in the 30 ~C-grown ones. The increased post-irradiation fluorescence points to enhanced cyclic electron transport around PSI under high growth temperature conditions, thus helping to dissipate excess photon energy non-radiatively.展开更多
The purpose of this study is to develop a standard methodology for measuring the surface free energy (SFE),and its component parts of bamboo fiber materials.The current methods was reviewed to determine the surface te...The purpose of this study is to develop a standard methodology for measuring the surface free energy (SFE),and its component parts of bamboo fiber materials.The current methods was reviewed to determine the surface tension of natural fibers and the disadvantages of techniques used were discussed.Although numerous techniques have been employed to characterize surface tension of natural fibers,it seems that the credibility of results obtained may often be dubious.In this paper,critical surface tension estimates were obtained from computer aided machine vision based measurement.Data were then analyzed by the least squares method to estimate the components of SFE.SFE was estimated by least squares analysis and also by Schultz' method.By using the Fowkes method the polar and disperse fractions of the surface free energy of bamboo fiber materials can be obtained.Strictly speaking,this method is based on a combination of the knowledge of Fowkes theory. SFE is desirable when adhesion is required,and it avoids some of the limitations of existing studies which has been proposed.The calculation steps described in this research are only intended to explain the methods.The results show that the method that only determines SFE as a single parameter may be unable to differentiate adequately between bamboo fiber materials,but it is feasible and very efficient.In order to obtain the maximum performance from the computer aided machine vision based measurement instruments,this measurement should be recommended and kept available for reference.展开更多

Methods With in vivo techniques, the antineoplastic drugs...Objective To investigate the anticancer effects of the Zaoxiu Compound Decoction(ZCD) on H22 mice with Heps and the influence on the construction of H22 cells. Methods With in vivo techniques, the antineoplastic drugs were given to hepatoma H22 model mice which were randomly divided into negative control(physiological saline), positive control(cyclophosphamide), high- and low-dose ZCD groups. After 10-d administration, the pathological examinations of tumor tissue, livers, and kidneys in mice were carried out and the inhibitory rate on tumor was calculated. Results The high-and low-dose ZCD had obvious inhibition on H22 cells. The pathological observation showed that high- and low-dose ZCD had a strong inhibitory effect on H22 cells as well as positive control, with few toxic effects to the livers and kidneys in mice. Conclusion ZCD has the anticancer effect and has no obvious toxic effects on the model mice.展开更多
