A composite was created by incorporating the quantum dot-enhanced SiO_(2)nanoparticles within this hydrogel.Based on this composite,a temperature-controlled fluorescent probe for DCP was developed.A meticulous examination of this probe revealed its attributes and factors affecting its performance.By using temperature modulation,the probe was adept at detecting DCP concentrations ranging between 1.0×10^(-6)and 9.0×10^(-6)mol/L.Such a probe offers remarkable selectivity,repeatability,and robust stability,so that the detection of DCP can be carried out at different temperatures,and a fast,reliable,sensitive and low-cost intelligent detection method is realized. 展开更多

A novel fiber optic sensor based on optical composite oxygen-sensitive film was developed for determination of 2,4-dichlorophenol(DCP).The optical composite oxygen-sensitive film consists of tris(2,2’-bipyridyl)dichloro ruthenium(II)hexahydrate(Ru(bpy)3Cl2)as the fluorescence indicator and iron(III)tetrasulfophthalocyanine(Fe(III)PcTs)as bionic enzyme.A lock-in amplifier was used for detecting the lifetime of the composite oxygen-sensitive film by measuring the phase delay of the sensor head.The different variables affecting the sensor performance were evaluated and optimized.Under the optimal conditions(i e,pH 6.0,25℃,Fe(III)PcTs concentration of 5.0×10^-5 mol/L),the linear detection range,detection limit and response time of the fiber optic sensor are 3.0×10^-7-9.0×10^-5 mol/L,4.8×10^-8 mol/L(S/N=3),and 220 s,respectively.The sensor displays high selectivity,good repeatability and stability,which have good potentials in analyzing DCP concentration in practical water samples. 展开更多

The development of the sensor suitable for measuring large load stress to the anchor cable becomes an important task in bridge construction and maintenance. Therefore, a new type of optical fiber sensor was developed in the laboratory - optical fiber grating sensor for force measurement of anchor cable (OFBFMAC). No similar report about this kind of sensor has been found up to now in China and other countries. This sensor is proved to be an effective way of monitoring in processes of anchor cable installation, cable cutting, cable force regulation, etc, with the accurate and repeatable measuring results. Its successful application in the tie bar cable force safety monitoring for Wuhan Qingchuan bridge is a new exploration of optical fiber grating sensing technology in bridge tie bar monitoring system. 展开更多

The doping effects on the frustration and the magnetic properties in hexagonal compounds ot YMn0.9A0.1O3 (A=A1, Fe and Cu) are investigated. Experimental results indicate that both the non-magnetic and magnetic ion dopants lead to the increase of magnetic moments and the decrease of the absolute value of Curie-Weiss temperature (|θcw|)- Compared with pure YMnOa, the geometrical frustration of YMn0.9 A0. 1O3 is greatly suppressed and the magnetic coupling in that exhibits dopant-dependent. In addition, for the doped YMno.gAo.103, the antiferromagnetic transition temperature (TN) is also suppressed slightly, which shows an abnormal dilution effect and it may be ascribed to the reduction of frustration due to the chemical substitution. 展开更多

The active oxygen species in the catalytic oxidation system of Fe(Ⅲ)PcTs-t-BuOOH were identified,and the mechanism of the catalytic oxidation of phenolic substrates was proposed.Quinone imine molecules,the main products of catalytic oxidation reaction,can be adsorbed on the surface of CdTe QDs,resulting in their fluorescence quenching.A dual function of catalytic oxidation and fluorescence sensing was developed for the determination of dichlorophenol(DCP)based on the Fe(Ⅲ)PcTs-BuOOH-CdTe QDs system.The linear detection range of DCP was 1×10^(-6)-1.3×10^(-4) mol/L,and the detection limit 2.4×10^(-7) mol/L.This method was characterized by high selectivity,good repeatability and desirable stability,presenting promising potentials for analyzing DCP concentration in real water samples. 展开更多

A field-modulated electroosmotic flow (FMEOF) in a microchannel can be obtained by applying modulating electric fields in a direction perpendicular to the channel wall. Micro-vortexes are generated around the electrodes along with an EOF due to the surface charge on the modulated wall. When polarizable particles are suspended near the electrodes, they experience dielectrophoretic forces due to a non-uniform electric field. In this paper, micro-vortexes and dielectrophoretic forces are combined to achieve separation and trap different sized particles in a continuous flow. Numerical results indicate that by adjusting the driving electric field parallel to the channel wall and the modulating electric field, the ratio of dielectrophoretic and hydrodynamic forces can be altered. One type of particles can be trapped by micro-vortexes (negative dielectrophoresis (DEP)), and the other particles are transported to the downstream so that the particles are separated. The influence of the electrode length and the channel height on the trapping rate is investigated. 展开更多

Various lead-free ceramics have been investigated in search for new high-temperature dielectrics. In particular, Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) is a type of ferroelectric ceramics, which is supposed to replace leadcontaining ceramics for its outstanding dielectric properties in the near future. Ferroelectric ceramics of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) made by conventional mixed oxide route have been studied by impedance spectroscopy in a wide range of temperature. X-ray diffraction patterns show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a single-phase of ferroelectric Bi-layered perovskite structure whether it is calcined at 800 ℃ or after sintering production. This study focused on the effect of the grain size on the electric properties of BIT ceramics. The BIT ceramics with different grain sizes were prepared at different sintering temperatures. Grain becomes coarser with the sintering temperature increasing by 50 ℃, relative permittivity and dielectric loss also change a lot. When sintered at 1 100 ℃, r values peak can reach 205.40 at a frequency of 100 k Hz, the minimum dielectric losses of four different frequencies make no difference, all close to 0.027. The values of Ea range from 0.52 to 0.68 e V. The dielectric properties of the sample sintered at 1 100 ℃ are relatively better than those of the other samples by analyzing the relationship of the grain, the internal stresses, the homogeneity and the dielectric properties. SEM can better explain the results of the dielectric spectrum at different sintering temperatures. The results show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a kind of dielectrics. Thus, Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) can be used in high-temperature capacitors and microwave ceramics. 展开更多

With the interest in using lead-free materials to replace lead-containing materials increasing,the use of Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_3(NBT) has come into our sight.We studied the composition of NBT and found that NaBiTi_6O_(14) ceramics can be compositionally tuned by Mg-doping on the Ti-site to optimize the dielectric properties.In this study,Mg-doped NaBiTi_6O_(14)(NaBi(Ti_(0.98)Mg_(0.02))_60_(14-d)) ceramics were prepared by a conventional mixed oxide route at different sintering temperatures,and their dielectric properties have been studied at a wide temperature range.X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns of the NBT-based ceramics indicate that all samples have a pure phase without any secondary impurity phase.The experimental data show that after Mg-doping,the relative permittivity and dielectric loss become lower at 1040,1060,and1080 ℃ except 1020 ℃ and at different frequencies from 10 kHz,100 kHz to 1 MHz.Take 1060 ℃ for example,when the sintering temperature is 1060 ℃ at 1 MHz,the minimum relative permittivity of NaBiTi_6O_(14) is 32.9 and the minimum dielectric loss is 0.01417,the relative permittivity of NaBi(Ti_(0.98)Mg_(0.02))_60_(14-δ) under the same condition is 25.8 and the dielectric loss is 0.000104.We explored the mechanism of Mg-doping and surprisingly found that the dielectric property of NaBi(Ti_(0.98)Mg_(0.02))_60_(14-δ) becomes better owing to Mg-doping.Thus,NaBi(Ti_(0.98)Mg_(0.02))_60_(14-δ) can be used in microwave ceramics and applied to new energy materials. 展开更多

This method takes use of a large number of rich nutrients for soil and crop. The application of sewage sludge in soil increases the concentration of heavy metals. Compared with 15-30 cm layer of soil, 0-15 cm layer increased significantly, especially for Cu, Zn and Ni. The concentration of Cd in soil is considered as the main limiting factor, which determines the years of land utilization. If the largest continuous application is 30 t/(hm2.a) to the soil, the largest application period will be 11.53 years. In this paper, set pair analysis model are used in safety evaluation of the soil. After one year application of sewage, the soil can be still safe. Finally, according to the process of the subject put forward some suggestions. 展开更多

The analytical expressions of the transmission and reflection amplitudes are deduced by using the real-space Hamiltonian. A method to determine the coupling strength of DDI is proposed. Realization of single photon switching by modulation the DDI is investigated. The influence of dissipations on the performance of the single photon switching are exhibited. The cutoff-bands of the s-polarization and p-polarization light in conventional edge filter will separate obviously under 45° oblique incidence, which limits its application. Based on the two chosen materials TiO2 and SiO2, a novel stack structure is proposed to design the non-polarization short-wave-pass thin film edge filter. By using the(4H 4L 4H) as the matching layers, the polarization separation at 3 dB transmittance for the thin film edge filter cutoff-band is less than 1 nm at the incident angle of 45°. In this way, the non-polarization short-wave-pass edge filter is easily designed and fabricated. 展开更多

The rectangular optical filter is one of the most important optical switching components in the dense wavelength divi- sion multiplexing (DWDM) fiber-optic communication system and the intelligent optical network. The integrated high- order silicon microring resonator (MRR) is one of the best candidates to achieve rectangular filtering spectrum re- sponse. In general, the spectrum response rectangular degree of the single MRR is very low, so it cannot be used in the DWDM system. Using the high-order MRRs, the bandwidth of flat-top pass band, the out-of-band rejection degree and the roll-off coefficient of the edge will be improved obviously. In this paper, a rectangular optical filter based on high- order MRRs with uniform couplers is presented and demonstrated. Using 15 coupled race-track MRRs with 10 pm in radius, the 3 dB flat-top pass band of 2 nm, the out-of-band rejection ratio of 30 dB and the rising and falling edges of 48 dB/nm can be realized successfully. 展开更多

We show numerically that generation of entangled states and population transfer between the two QDMs can be realized with the same coupling parameters. The effects of parameters deviation and dissipations on generation entangled states be used for realization of new-type of solid state quantum and populations transfer are also discussed. Reflected-intensity distribution of angle-tuned thin film filter based on frequency recursive algorithm

For a three-port angle-tuned thin film filter, the characteristic of reflected-port is very important to reflect multiple wavelengths spectrum. As the filter is in tilted incidence, the reflected-facula broadens and the refiectivity decreases. In this paper, we proposed a frequency recursive algorithm based on fast Fourier transform and Fresnel formula. The reflected-intensity distribution of the narrow- band filter from normal incidence to 40~ tilted incidence was simulated by this frequency recursive algorithm. Meanwhile, the beam field experiments were accordingly performed in this study. Compared with the traditional beam spatial superposition method, the frequency recur- sive algorithm is more efficient and precise in calculating the reflectivity of the reflected beam, suggesting the frequency recursive algorithm may be more helpful for fabricating the three-port tunable thin film filter. 展开更多
