Objective: To explore the comparative study of myocardial damage in children infected with COVID-19 and influenza A virus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Retrospective analysis of myocardial injury caused by COVID-19 infection and influenza A virus infection in children during the COVID-19 from October 2022 to May 2023, including 106 cases of COVID-19 infection, that is, the COVID-19 group; And 164 cases of influenza A virus infection, namely, H1N1 group; Two groups were tested for various indicators of myocardial enzyme spectrum, and the situation of myocardial injury was compared between the two groups. Result: In the enrolled cases, there was no statistically significant difference in the prevalence rate of men and women in the COVID-19 group (P > 0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the average age between men and women (P > 0.05);The comparison of the incidence rates between males and females in the H1N1 group showed a statistically significant difference (P 0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the average age between the two groups of girls (P > 0.05). A comparison between two groups of various indicators of myocardial enzyme spectra showed that the results of AST, -HBDH and LDH were statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusion: Both COVID-19 infection and influenza A virus infection in children have different degrees of myocardial damage, but COVID-19 infection causes more myocardial damage than influenza A virus infection, and influenza A virus is more prone to myocardial infarction, which deserves our attention. 展开更多

Objective:To observe and compare the curative effect between the intrapleural-chemotherapy combined Nocardia rubra cell wall skeleton-injection and the Nocardia rubra cell wall skeleton-injection after control of the malignant pleural effusion by chemotherapy. Methods:Every time after elimination of pleural effusion,we injected DDP and Nocardia rubra cell wall skeleton at the same time into pleural cavity;or after we emplaced an improved central vena catheter into pleural cavity then took out closed-drainage or eliminated the pleural effusion every day, then injected 5-FU 0.5 qd intrapleural-space.After the malignant pleural effusion had being controlled,800μg Nocardia rubra cell wall skeleton was injected intrapleural-space. (We call it as"improved following-therapy").Results:Using the improved following-therapy,the control rate of malignant pleural effusion increased:CR+PR,79.07%>65.79%(P<0.05),and the incidence rate of the encapsulated pleural effusion that would impact on patient’s respiratory faction decreased. Conclusion:Giving chemotherapy after closed-drainage or immediately after taking out pleural effusion everyday, then giving biotherapy after pleural effusion had been controlled, the curative effect would be enhanced and the side-reaction would be reduced. 展开更多

In this manuscript the authors have studied the application value of White blood cell morphology combined with neutrophils alkaline phosphatase staining integral value in treatment of pediatric HFMD combined with infection. They showed that comparing the NAP positive rate of HFMD co-infection with the NAP positive rate of other three groups respectively—reference group, HFMD group and anti-infection HFMD group—the t value is 25.7964, 28.2326, 28.3696 and the values of P are 0.0000;Comparing the NAP integral value of HFMD co-infection with the NAP integral value of other three groups respectively, which are reference group, HFMD group and anti-infection HFMD, the t value is 35.8687, 36.2664, 36.1374 and the values of P are 0.0000. They concluded that it is useful to apply WBC morphological examination combined with the positive rate and integral value of NAP staining to diagnose and treatment HFMD. 展开更多

Transverse process syndrome of the third lumbar vertebra is a common cause of lumbago and sciatica It is manifested by localized soreness, distention and pain on unilateral or bilateral aspect of the third lumbar transverse process. There is also fixed tenderness point at the tip of the transverse process. This condition frequently occurs in young adults who are engaged in physical work. In recent years, the author used green tortoise probing cave method and stuck needle method for treating 72 cases of transverse process syndrome of the third lumbar vertebra, it is now report as follows. 展开更多
