Peng Kunchi’s contribution lies in pushing the domestic research on quantum optics to the frontier of the world: the generation of non-classical states of light by the same device; the measurement of very weak signals by using non-classical light sources; and the design of single-frequency all-solid-state green laser. In recent years, his laboratory has undertaken 21 research projects given by the national natural science foundation, as well as 54 other foundation projects, with 11 winning ministerial or provincial citations. Additionally he has 377 research papers published in prominent domestic and foreign journals and periodicals or presented at international conferences, some of his researches transformed into high tech products.展开更多
