Methods: 556 freshmen in three medical colleges were asked to fill out the General Information Questionnaire, Adaptability Questionnaire and Family Environment Scale (Chinese version). Results: Low positive correlation was obtained between cohesion, active-recreational orientation, achievement orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation, organization and adaptability. Negative correlations were found between conflict, control and adaptability. Multiple regressions showed that conflict, organization, active-recreational orientation, control, and sex bore significant relationship with adaptability of freshmen. Conclusion: Family factors play significant roles in influencing the adaptability of freshmen.展开更多
