The n-butanol extract from Parthenocissus tricuspidata leaves were examined for antimicrobial activity against five microbes by using filter paper method.The results showed that the extract restrained the growth of Es...The n-butanol extract from Parthenocissus tricuspidata leaves were examined for antimicrobial activity against five microbes by using filter paper method.The results showed that the extract restrained the growth of Escherichia coli,Agrobacterium tumefaciens,Bacillus subitilis and Bacillus pumilus,while inhibited the growth of yeast at a certain extent.And the minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC) were 0.25,0.3,0.25,0.3,1.0 g·mL-1respectively.Moreover the n-butanol extract also could restrained some bacterium strains,which had antibiotic resistances.After heated at 95 ℃ for 2~3 h,the n-butanol extract from P.tricuspidata leaves still presented strong bacteriostasis to germs.This result indicated that the substance had heat-stability.展开更多
