Methods: In this study, 220 patients with gout at the Rheumatology and Immunology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2024 to July 2024 were selected as survey objects, using general data tables, self-perceived burden tables, gout influence tables for survey questionnaire survey. Results: The total score of the self-perceived burden of gout patients was (27.44 ± 7.56). There were 51 patients with no significant burden, 48 patients with mild burden, 87 patients with moderate burden, and 34 patients with severe burden. In terms of gender, age, marriage status, cultural level, self-efficacy scores, anxiety scoring, and quality of life, there are significant differences between the burden group and no burden group (P P < 0.05). Conclusion: The self-perceived burden of patients with gout is at a moderate level, and some patients are at a severe level.
