Support groups for single mothers have emerged in some of Beijing's districts. Since 1998, the support group sponsored by Beijing Chongwen District's Women's Federation has assisted more than 1,000 single mothers. The group has helped them improve themselves, and resolve material problems. The single mothers have been able to rebuild their self-confidence, rediscover their value and make new lives.展开更多
