Teaching English vocabulary is an integral part of English teaching in Chinese senior high schools, which directly affects the development and improvement of students’ English proficiency. With the advancement of curriculum reform in Chinese senior high schools, efficient vocabulary teaching is crucial and necessary. However, the lack of sufficient attention to vocabulary by English teachers has led to the fact that Chinese high school students’ learning of vocabulary remains inefficient at present. Therefore, this article tries to analyse the three main reasons for the current inefficiency of senior high school English vocabulary teaching and, as a result, discusses three ways in which teachers can help to effectively improve the students’ vocabulary learning.展开更多

Through the integration of dynamic interactions such as role simulation, contextualization, collaborative discussion and immediate feedback, the diversified interactive teaching model brings new life to classroom teaching, which improves students’ motivation, increases their participation in the classroom, and helps improve their language and teamwork skills. This study compares and analyzes traditional teaching methods, summarizes the key benefits of multidimensional interactive teaching, and explores the potential and value of its use in teaching English in higher education, contributing key insights and suggestions for improving strategies for teaching English and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning outcomes.展开更多
