The ternary heteropoly compounds formed by substituting transition metals for tungsten in 12-heteropoly compounds remain Keggin struc ture with excellent catalystic activity. However, potassium 11-tungstochromate containing transition metals has not been reported. We synthesized K<sub>n</sub>[Z (H<sub>2</sub>O)Cr W<sub>11</sub> O<sub>39</sub>] XH<sub>2</sub>O (Z=Fe<sup>3+</sup>, Co<sup>2+</sup>, Ni<sup>2+</sup> and Zn<sup>2+</sup>) by an improved method. The product was characterized by chemical analysis, ion-exchange, IR, UV and XPS.展开更多
