Clinically, this syndrome is often misdiagnosed as urinary infection and mis-treated with antibiotics. Although the disease could be treated with estrogens as a replacement therapy, the potential risk of carcinogenesis and other adverse reactions discovered in recent years leads to a poor acceptance of this modality. From December 2000 to February 2003, we treated 40 cases of the disease with a formula called Niao Chang Shu Fang (尿畅舒方) and obtained satisfactory results. This is reported as follows.展开更多
